When 1/3 of the participants are down before the CBS broadcast is completed, you know this will be a short competition. In fact, we're now down to just three, as while I was typing that first sentence Danielle also dropped. We're down to Shane, Dan, and Ian. Joe was the first down, and he "won" some sort of undisclosed punishment which will probably be nothing more than a dumb costume destined to give him more yelling time on Sunday's show.
And...as I was uploading that post, Dan "dropped". No doubt in my mind he wasn't really trying...and Shane told him he was safe.
It's still Shane versus Ian, with Dan pretending to be sick on the sidelines and Danielle complaining that even looking at Shane makes her dizzy.
Still at it almost two hours later!
For some reason, we also had this wonderful view for a short period of time.
Shane and Ian asked for a little time...and after agreeing not to nom or backdoor either Shane or Danielle, Shane dropped to give Ian the win. As the feeds went to fish you could hear Ian say, "now I can use that speech I was working on..."
