The Night Owl

So, veto was played today and Andy won..ho hum.  He is now kind of wavering back and forth between whether he wants to get rid of Spencer or Jessie, but in the end I don't think it will matter that much.  Either way they get rid of a person outside of "the house alliance".

After feeds came back from the veto comp, McCrae and Amanda started fighting (what's new?).  Apparently McCrae thinks Amanda is insensitive for making a lot of weight digs at Aaryn in front of GinaMarie when they know that she has issues with an eating disorder.  Amanda said it is not her problem and that she is not insensitive.  Eventually the fight led to McCrae getting out of the HOH bath where they were currently arguing and going to stew in the cockpit for a while.

When McCrae and Amanda met back up a little while later in the HOH bed, everything was fine between them again, but they started to game talk a little.  McCrae believes (like most of us do) that a jury member will have a chance to get back into the house.  He wants to vote Elissa out by next week so that if it's an "America's vote" thing it will be Elissa that comes back instead of Judd.  I am hoping he doesn't get his way here.  I would really hate to see freaking Elissa leave and then bounce right back.  She whines all the time about not wanting to be in the game and how she had to negotiate a stipend with BB before she would agree to do the show.  She also never lets an hour go by without reminding us that SHE left her FAMILY to come and do this...as if no one else has anything they gave up at home.  Anyway, the idea that it might go that way is almost infuriating, but I understand his logic in wanting to make sure a useless player comes back that he can easily take out again. Amanda said that if it were her she would backdoor Helen next week for sure and just leave Elissa in the game a little longer.  All of this is just speculation though. We don't know what the twist is for sure yet, and we don't know who HOH is going to be next week.

That was about all the game talking that went on.  After that they played Hot Potato for a while.  Then they played some round table game about frogs.  Then they got booze and went outside and Andy talked for hours.  He talked about his exes. He talked about his family. He talked about his childhood. He talked about college.  He talked about his work....and he just kept on talking.

Inside while Andy was talking, Helen also speculated to Elissa that someone might be coming back from Jury.  She had an angry reaction about it though.  She says it "isn't fair" and "So many people worked so hard to be here!"  I guess she forgot she was talking to Elissa when trying to push these points.  How was Elissa cast again?

Anyway, that's it.  Nothing else really happened.  Andy plans to keep his nominations the same, and Jessie will likely still go home.  It's going to be a boring week.  As always you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more live feed updates.  Until tomorrow night...

I agree that it's going to be a boring week. Next week's HOH could potentially change a lot though. I don't mind this week being boring if it means I no longer have to listen to Jessie whine.

Honestly I think the only good thing about this season has been Jessie. When you take into account the other houseguest's behavior and a lot of the insensitive, hateful, and racial remarks. You really start to wonder why it is that these people are still allowed to be in that house and in the game by production themselves. Honestly if this is indeed Jessie's last week in the house then I'm pretty much done and tired of this season as a whole with the exception of who gets HOH and who leaves when, because I'm tired of reading about the insensitive crap that is coming from some of these remaining people. I'm tired of reading about GinaMarie's comments about Candice when Candice is not even there, and the comments she made to Candice on Thursday night were nothing but rude and insensitive.

I'm tired of Amanda and her nasty comments and her bullying and threatining people, and although McCrae has pointed it out to her time and again,I still wonder why he even CHOOSES to still be associated with her! When is the fight going to come that finally opens his eyes that she is not the girl for him?

I'm just to the point to where if Jessie is evicted this week that I just want to move on to something else, and if the rumor behind Amanda being a predetermined winner for this season is true and she does win this game I'm going to be very disgusted.

The only reason Elissa is on the show is because she is Rachel's sister and CBS expected her to be Rachel Part 2. However, and while I was never a big Rachel fan, at least she was entertaining. Watching Elissa makes me want to take a nap.
At this point I just want to see someone, anyone, take out Amanda and then Helen. If the rumor about Amanda being the predetermined winner is true I will never watch Big Brother again.

I get a kick out of people who say, "When my personal choice gets voted out of the house I'm never going to watch the show again." See ya later fair weather fans. Don't let the screen door hit you on the way out. Obviously, you were not a true Big Brother aficionado. So for all of those who think this is the "I want (Jessie/Elissa/McCrae or whoever) to win" show, nobody cares that you won't keep watching if you don't get your way and if you were a Big Brother Houseguest you'd be as pouty as Amanda in her 3-year-old temper tantrums.

That said, it's always boring when the HOH does what the "house alliance" wants. But guess we'll have to wait until next week and hope that Spencer wins HOH.

McCrae doesn't turn on Amanda because he gets to have sex with her. That's it. He's not that good looking and here is a "hot babe" that jumps into bed with him. Feels like Erika/Boogie showmance, only more explicit. The difference being, if McCrae really thought about it, he'd wait until after the returned houseguest, and then get rid of Amanda. If he waits to final 4, she will work the jury against him out of anger.

The cast keeps getting more boring and obnoxious as the seasons go on. IMO....Allison Grodner has ruined BB. I loved the show in the beginning, before they had the audience influencing the outcomes.

I have never been able to understand why they allow the players to whisper. What other show you watch or go to a theater to see, do they deliberately prevent the audience from hearing the dialogue? It's ridiculous! It's why I quit the live feeds after Dick Donato' s season.

I wish Les Chen Moonves would can Grodner and bring in new blood. The premise is still great but it is in need of retooling.

objkshn- I think you misunderstand in a lot of ways what is being said here. First of all there is a rumor and suspicion that Amanda is the season's predetermined winner because she is a close friend of AG,and that AG also planted Elissa in a attempt to make Elissa be viewed as the favorite to win,and really honestly if this all is true it's not cool in the least. To rig the game like that is not acceptable.

The other thing I'm saying is that it's not just a matter of my favorite leaving the house.I understand that is part of the game, and the odds are not great of you picking any one person at the start of the season and then seeing them win. That's understandable, what I'm talking about is being exhausted and tired of reading hateful,Racial, and insensetive remarks, and it seems to me that after this week all the houseguests that have engaged in such behavior are the ones that are left, and I'm tired of it. Gameplay and strategy and scheming is what this show is about and that is interesting, but insensitive and hateful Racial comments should have no place and are not interesting and fun for me to watch. I'm just over it.

I'm honestly hopeful that next year is better,I'd like to come back next year and see a better show, and be able to see that they have gone and addressed these issues of Race and hate that was experienced this year. The bottom line for me is that Big Brother needs to get back to being what it is,a game! A Game, and nothing more. A game that can be played without the personal attacks and hateful comments that houseguests have made to each other this year.

I understand the race thing (no need to capitalize) is huge this year and there seem to be more "clashes" of personality, but to say that the personal attacks need to go? It's BB. Most of us watch the feeds for the inevitable fights that are going to happen when 16 different personalities are stuck in a house together 24/7. I'm sure there are some out there that would be gracious enough to NEVER say anything bad about someone they don't like, those people just aren't fun to watch. Maybe people who are offended and think the show should be cancelled or houseguest removed just aren't right for BB?

That being said; I don't agree with production interference and also don't believe the game is set up for Amanda. She hasn't win a comp and a lot of the houseguest haven't even suggested getting her out. With Howard we so the plan to evict him take flight and then all of a sudden Elissa didn't want to do it anymore. With Amanda it's more that the people in the house with her aren't playing well.
