The Night Owl - Sunday Night

Tonight was just one of those nights.  NOTHING...and I do mean NOTHING of any interest happened.  That's usually the way the week goes when the HOHs plan is executed perfectly or even close to perfectly.  Since everyone is pretty much set on getting Devin out, there isn't a lot of gaming to be done.

The ants that invade yearly have invaded the house at an all time high in numbers and force due to a dirty kitchen, so there was some cleaning of the kitchen and exterminating of ants.

Devin walked around making comments to people trying to make them think he may stay, but no one fell for it enough for it to really matter...

Victoria lulled Derrick into submission by trapping him in the HOH and talking for hours about things that have nothing to do with game.

Zach woke up around 9pm and after a grueling 3 hour day, promptly went back to sleep.

And Caleb started to resemble a character from Grey Gardens...or the subject of the song Psycho Killer by The Talking Heads.  Take your pick.

That's pretty much it, folks. So, I'm calling it a really early night and reserving my energy for more drama filled days.  As always you guys can follow me @ashes2ashes13 on twitter for more overnight feed updates.  Until tomorrow night....

Are ant infestations common in CA? I'm from WA and we do get ants outside, but not often inside, even in the summer. They seem to close the backyard door each time they come and go, what is causing the yearly infestations? Honestly, even a super dirty kitchen shouldn't bring ants, (sure roaches, mice, fruit flies, weevils, but not ants.) How has this problem not been solved yet after all these years?

Game wise, I'm elated that Devin will likely be gone soon. He grosses me out. He's a good looking man, but the way he moves his mouth when he talks and smiles is sickening. I avert my gaze when he's on screen.

Derrick is my favorite to win. Donny is my favorite human being in the house. And Christine is my greatest let down (I thought she had the smarts to win this game. But I'm not impressed so far.)

Thanks for blogging about it all! I appreciate your efforts.

How can Christine get away with not having to be a have not? I dont get that? The same for Frankie and his "circulation", is this the future of Big Brother? Its not fair to the others that do have to deal with that aspect of the game. Seems wierd to me that some iwll get special exemptions that will give them a comptetitive edge in the long game.

I too am tired of Christine and Frankie, these two are legends in their own minds and really havent done anything other than have dumb luck that others have been more in the game than they have. Sure Frankie is playing Andy's game, but the problem with that is that it has been done before and is easily identifiable as a strategy so people are seeing it for what it is. Christine is dangerously close to becoming a floater...
