Dead In The Water....The Night Owl

Well so far tonight, nothing happened.  No really, nothing.  Nothing out of the ordinary or new anyway.

The day started very very early when BB woke up the HGs to rush the veto ceremony.  Dan was called to the DR and was tipped off that he should be concerned about being back doored and then they instantly started the veto meeting before Frank could even finish talking to Boogie about the idea of putting Dan up.  So, needless to say, the feeds came back and everything stayed the same.  Thanks a lot production.  The chance was small in the first place, but they definitely made sure it wouldn't happen once Frank started really pushing the issue with Boogie.

After the meeting Joe hugged Frank and Boogie (so obvious) and Wil had a panic attack. The rest of the house commenced daily boringness of playing in the pool and sleeping.  The general consensus of course is that Wil is dead in the water. There really is no hope. I would be willing to bet every penny I have that nothing will change between now and Thursday and he will be the one walking out the door...sigh..there goes my overnight entertainment.

There was a moment tonight where Britney said she wanted to talk to Wil and that she was considering her options, but unfortunately because dingbat crazy eyes was told by Ian the worm that Wil was after Dan, she has had on her mean pouty puss all day and each time Britney brought up the idea of considering their options she has said "No, I KNOW Wil is after Dan. He HAS to go!".

To add insult to injury, before Wil can even talk to Britney, Joe comes over to the hammock where Britney and Danielle are talking and tells his own version of what he thinks happened the night prior.  He spins a story involving Wil saying he wanted Britney, Danielle, Shane, or Dan to leave this week in exchange for safety and that he made a deal with Frank but that Frank completely blew it off.  He went on to say that his integrity is obviously higher than Wil's and that he really wants to be there blah blah blah.

Upon Joe's exit from the hammock Danieel seethes "I KNEW IT! I JUST KNEW HE WAS AFTER US! HE HAS TO GO!".  Britney puts her own spin on it recalling a conversation that happened about a week ago before noms happened saying that Wil was a liar because he said he wanted to work with she and Shane.

The problem with all of these conversations is that there are tiny TINY bits of truth in them..just enough to make it look suspicious and they are all taken out of context.  Wil did not go upstairs and say what Joe said he did.  He just went and pled his case...he tried to fight which is what anyone would do on the block.  He basically said "why waste a week on me or Joe when there are bigger targets in the house."  He strongly implied Dan, but definitely didn't say Britney or Danielle.  The part about wanting to work with Britney and Shane was a conversation they had before Noms when he told her that he had no one but Ashley to work with and she was hurt and that he would like SOMEONE to work with and would be open to talking to she and Shane. I think it's a damned if you do and damned if you don't mentality.  If you talk to people you are a liar and a schemer. If you don't talk to anyone you are just floating and not playing the game.

Anyway...after this hammock discussion Danielle went inside and told all Joe's lies and Britney's spins to Dan as if they were truths that she actually knew to be fact.  Apparently Joe is trustworthy now and none of them can see that Joe has a deal with Frank and Boogie. Good grief. She then went on to bitch and complain about how Shane is such a dick because he talked about how hot Dani Donato is.  Dan cut her off with "This is why I said NO SHOWMANCES".

There are a lot of little conversations like this going on in the house, but none of them vary far away from the same general idea which is get Wil out first and hope it's a fast forward or DE so they can get Joe out.

Meanwhile Joe continues to lie and scream his cooking shows at the camera and tell big whopping stories that annoy the shit out of everyone.  Danielle continues to act like a psycho about pretty much everything.  Britney continues to talk shit about everyone and somehow not be found out, and the boys in the house work out and occasionally make comments about how they are definitely keeping Joe.

I'm kind of bored to tears with these people right now. I don't feel like anything exciting will happen until at least Thursday. I'm to the point of most likely going to bed at 2am rather than holding out for 6am when they all go to bed.

I am of course sad that my favorite is going to be walking out the door.  I hoped and I hoped but alas hope has failed ...oh well..on to the next one.

But alas...I probably could have written this blog in two simple words "Nothing changed".

Could It Possibly Happen?

While the plan seemed dead late last night, Frank is adament that he wants to put up Dan. He's got Boogie outside, and is retelling last night's deal with Wil. Boogie, however, believe it is the worst idea in the world, and has repeated how they still need to prove they're trustworthy. He also added that Dan has supposedly said he wants to get rid of Shane next week, but Frank feels that he's just saying that to cvoer his bases.

This is an ongoing conversation that is still going on right now. If you have the feeds, jump on now. Otherwise, click that link to get involved!

Confidence In Alcohol...The Night Owl

So a few things happened that don't matter...and then a few more things happened that don't matter. There was some chit chat about sports and some cooking and some eating etc...  The general consensus of pretty much all was still lets keep noms the same and send Wil home.

And then....THE BOOZE DELIVERY!!!

This is currently all I care about.

Alcohol was delivered and being that there are a few have nots and the rest of the house drank last night, the only people drinking were Wil, Ashley, and Jenn.  Three glasses of wine and a beer later out of freaking nowhere Wil suddenly decides to fight.  Not only does he decide to fight, all of the sudden he gets it.  He has gotten it all along but I have yet to see him articulate it in a way that Frank or Boogie or anyone else would buy it, but NOW...through the power of hops and aged grapes he somehow has the confidence and the ability to tell Frank EXACTLY what he should have said before he was even put on the block.  He and Ashley march to the HOH and it goes a little something like this:

"Week one you defended me against Willie, and I was grateful, and I voted to keep you in this house.  The next time you were on the block I lied to you and I was going to vote you out, but I can't keep making excuses and apologizing for that. It's Big Brother and I lied. We all have.  Last week I voted out my former coach who would not have put me on the block had she stayed here and won. I kept you over her, and now, you and Mike are not my targets.  I will vote how you want and I will work with you if you help me stay in this house. Leave me on the block. Take Joe down. I'm not even going to ask you to take me down, I would just rather be up on the block against a bigger target, and I think you would rather use your HOH to get out someone bigger rather than waste your HOH on Me or Joe"

That was the long and short of it. There was a lot more said and votes were gone over. Ashely was also way too loud and said too much and almost killed it for Wil a few times, but Wil managed to hold it down and do his thing.

Not surprisingly Frank is really into the idea. It's what he wants to do...but Britney is crafty.  She saw Wil and Ashley up in that HOH and she spent her little spy Ian straight up there to find out exactly what was going on.  Ian argues and combats the idea.  He doesn't want it to happen and he doesn't want his idol Dan to go up on the block.  Frank holds his own though and gives Ian every statistical reason why it would be more important to get Dan out.

I really think that if Frank can get Boogie on board this might actually happen.  I know it's a hell of a long shot and it probably won't ever happen, especially with Ian being so anti doing it which makes his vote really shaky. However...this is the only hope I have to cling to folks! It's what I have and I am going to light my candles and cross my fingers again hoping that this actually works out.

While Ian was upstairs fighting Dan's fight for him like a good dog, Wil went downstairs upon the instructions of Frank and solidified that if Joe came off the block he wouldn't vote Wil out. They ended with a hug that Britney saw making her lazy eye spin circles in paranoia.

The thing that will make this very likely not to happen is that Ian is currently super not on board and that makes it seem like the votes might not be there and so they might be swinging and missing by putting Dan up.  Also, there is Boogie. He is already asleep and there is no telling what he will say when Frank comes to him with this deal.  Ian is really on my last nerve right now.  He really wants Dan in and he keeps making weak pitches like "let's just get rid of Wil. He has come in last in everything he played in."  Which is of course not the case at all.  He did tell Frank he would vote however he wanted unfortunately...but I don't trust that little worm at this point.

The upside if all of this actually works out? That batshit bunny boiler will be so fried and frazzled she won't know what the hell to do with herself if Dan goes home.

Regardless of whether it happens or not, I'm proud of Wil. I really thought he had given up, but he is at least going to go out swinging if he still goes out. Bravo.

Everything is still completely up in the air right now since no one has talked to Boogie and Britney's paranoid mind is spinning out of control, so I will update later if anything more happens. I feel like there is a 5% chance of hope right now though folks. I'm excited.  The one thing I like about this season is that the veto keeps being used in pretty shocking ways pretty consistently. I like it. I like it a lot!

Big Brother #14, Episode 14 Recap

Apparently, there is a strike of sorts going on tonight. As we talked about on last night's Big Brother Gossip Show, there was a short diary room leak to the house that could have potentially informed the entire house of the "Secret Six" alliance.

Nothing really came out of this leak besides a line of questioning from Joe, and Janelle was still evicted on Thursday. That hasn't stopped at least one website, and a number of that person's followers, from claiming that they are now boycotting the feeds and tonight's show. The claim is that enough angry tweeters will be enough for CBS to cut out the production interference in the casting, game design, feeds, and the actual broadcast.

Isn't that cute? I'm all for grassroots behind-the-scenes involvement by fans and critics, but nothing will change even if every single person who uses the #bb14 hashtag suddenly disappear from the Nielsen counters. If you're a part of this movement, more power to you, and at least you'll still know what happens from this recap. I'll happily watch so you don't have to.

In case you're not aware of the typical Sunday night template, you're going to see reactions to Thursday's eviction and HOH competition, some plotting, a HOH room reveal (zzzz), a Have-Not competition, more plotting, and nominations. Hopefully, there won't be any fake showmance filler, but I'm not holding my breath.

Here we go with a flashback to Janelle's eviction. Frank wonders how he has managed to survive through three nominations, while Joe SCREAMS his displeasure at the 8-1 vote. "NOW I'M ON AN ISLAND ALL BY MY LONESOME SELF!" Shut up! Wil adds that he was quite confident that nothing would come out of voting against his former coach, so why not join them to keep from being a target? (Foreshadow alert!)

With Janelle gone, we have to have the typical idiotic celebration dance from Boogie and Frank. "Ding dong, the witch is dead", says Boogie. Yes, we know about your All-Star eviction, Mike. "It's safe to say...I'm on top of the house."

Meanwhile, Britney is crying that she helped evict a friend, an ally, a lifelong sister. Then why did you do it, you silly twit? Joe is then seen pacing around the house, and Ashley tells him that she is sorry, but he just brushes her off as he wanders past.

We then jump to Frank's HOH victory, and another silly Chilltown celebration. Yes, we know, Frank. You've gone from almost-evicted to HOH twice now. For some reason, we have to also hear Danielle complain that she better be safe. (No foreshadowing here.) Joe, however, knows he's in trouble...and slowly yells once again. Dan believes that this week will be the Silent Six's ultimate test to see if they really are a team.

Joe has gone right into the bedroom, and in the diary room complains "there are some despicable human filth in this house". He lies on the bed as his rant continues on, but he knows he's in trouble. Frank wanders in to ask him a cooking question, but Joe clearly doesn't want to help with the cooking.

Britney is also sad, still crying about evicting Janelle. Danielle attempts to calm her down by coldly saying "you're that closer to the money". Britney thinks that Frank is going to win the game, but Danielle counters that everybody will be gunning for him...which may be the smartest thing she's said all season. Britney isn't buying it however. "If he's in the final three, it's over. Sign the check." Danielle, though, says she's beaten him twice, and can do it again. Um, wow.

Frank and Boogie are now plotting their week, and the goal is to "really work Wil". Frank, though, wants to put up Joe and Dan, which makes Boogie laugh. Frank's view is that after last week's attempt at a blindside, maybe he should know what it feels like. Cooler heads prevail, though, as Boogie explains how they're going to need Dan and Danielle's votes.

HOH reveal time. No need to recap this.

Wil and Ash are now talking, and Ash has suddenly awakened. She just now has realized she voted out somebody who is "on my side. Now it's just me and Wil playing this game alone." Really? Who are these people? Joe joins them to find out why they voted against Janelle. Wil says he didn't have any deal for his vote, and explains it's because he has a big mouth AND being her only vote makes Joe a big target. Ash also babbles something, but it's not a human language. Joe figures that the three of them are the only possible candidates for nomination.

Filler time, as Shane and Frank talk about dreams. Um, no way I'm going on about that idiocy. Even worse, it's followed by out-of-context fake showmance shit with Danielle and Shane. Please, they are NOT a showmance!!!

Thankfully, this segment is now over and we're back to game talk...kind of. Boogie is gloating how the last three evictions...or exits have been people he didn't want around. Frank and Boogie are feeling Dan out about putting one of their own up as a pawn to "disguise" their big alliance, and Dan wants no part of being that pawn. "I'm such a threat in this house that if I'm on the block I'm going home." Boogie's response? "You don't trust your alliance, huh?" Would you?

More filler time, as Britney and Boogie talk about how Danielle hates mornings. We also have to endure talk of her idiocy about calling herself a school teacher, and Boogie lets it out that he doesn't believe that story anyway. He believes she's either in medical school or is a nurse. The only good part of this conversation is Britney's super short shorts, and sitting in a non-classy position.

On to another big topic of the last couple of days - Ashley's medical issues. She has awful back spasms that make it so she can barely move, so the boys have to help her move around the house. "I am very lucky I have two muscular man-crutches", she says. "I feel very blessed to have everybody be so kind to me."

As if there's not enough filler in this episode, we have a have-not competition. Since Ashley is injured, she can either play or have Frank play for her. She goes with Frank. Bandanas and hats are handed to Ian, who is immediately tackled.

This week's game features everybody dressed as giant limes and lemons, and there's a lemon pond. The lemon team is Joe, Britney, Shane, Danielle, and Jenn dressed as a farmer. The rest are the limes, with Frank as the farmer. The competition has everybody soaking up juice from the big pond, and they must squeeze their juice into the jars of the other team. Boogie whispers to his team to also fill their mouths with the juice to spit into the jar.

Britney and Danielle don't want to be have-nots, as you may expect. Also, in case you didn't understand how the game works, Dan yelled it out once again in the diary room. Once the game began, it became the farmers job to help squeeze the juice out of the costumes. Danielle is appalled that a lesbian is now humping her. Oh please. I'm sure you've had those fake lesbian bar kisses to get the attention of the boys.

There are plenty of other thinly-veiled gay jokes, and even more Britney bitching. Joe doesn't appear to be doing much other than sitting in the pool, which has Daniele whining, and Ian is bummed that this would have been a possibility for Ashley to be on top of him. Ugh, even more fake showmance stuff as we see Danielle and Shane hugging to get juice.

Jenn's team is far behind, but suddenly the other team has a kink in their hose. Maybe they has a shot in the game! Frank discovers the kink, but it is now almost even. Finally, the game ends with a victory for the lemons! The Have-nots for this week are Shane, Danielle, Britney, and Joe (who complains and complains).

They walk into the house to discover their food for the week, which is candy canes and cod. Cue more whining from Danielle, but Britney isn't so upset.

Joe now heads up to talk to Frank. He says that since he's alone in the game, this could be good for his game. He also wants Frank to think about loyalty, and also how "there is not a soul that (Wil) has not lied to...if it is in my power I will try to get him out before I leave here".

My God, even more filler after another commercial. Seriously, people diving into the pool with a mini-basketball is worthy footage?

Ok, back to the game. Wil heads into the HOH to "grab your ear for a hot second". He says he expects to go up, and there's no hard feelings. Boogie goes on about going after duos at a certain point, and that their focus is on Joe. Frank asks who Wil wants to go after Joe's departure? Wil demurs, saying it's a "dangerous question", and that he believes there is a large group working together. He refrains from commenting on who he wants to go out, and Boogie is flabbergasted after he leaves. Suddenly, he is the target...although Frank still wants to get revenge on Dan. Boogie counsels that they are still not considered trustworthy, and it is not the right time to do this. "When you make a run at somebody like that, it has to be definite." For the CBS footage, though, Frank reminds us that it is still his decision as to who is nominated.

Finally, it is nomination time. We get the usual silliness from those that may be put up, including Dan (yeah, right), before everybody is pulled in. The first key pulled belongs to Britney, followed by Danielle, Shane, Ashley, Jenn, Ian, Dan, and Boogie. Yes, Wil and Joe are nominated! Frank says he nominated Joe because he voted against him against Janelle, and Wil's nomination is due to a "big ol' fib" he told him the previous week.

Wil says that everybody in the house has lied, and he's a "not classy hypocrite", and Frank says that Wil is the one who will be going home this week. Dan claims to be surprised that he wasn't nominated, as you really can't trust Boogie. "He's done a lot of diabolical things in this game." Joe screams that he's not done, as "revenge is a dish that's best served cold!" Ugh make it stop.

That's it, strikers and non-strikers! What did you think of tonight's show? Way too much filler for you, too? Give us your thoughts!

Not So Much of The Night Owl

Okay so some of you guys know I lost my power yesterday....and it JUST CAME BACK...  That's right..freaking 5am the next day.  I watched as much of the feeds as I could on my Kindle before it died, but then I was pretty much SOL.

I didn't see much, but I saw enough to know that Wil didn't win POV. Frank DID win POV *vomits*. And the house flip flop has begun. Get Wil out. Get Joe out. Get Wil out. Get Joe out. Get Wil out...etc.. etc.. etc..  I really don't have any hope for my player since every time Frank leans towards wanting to keep Wil, old Eagle Eye Joe starts making up a bunch of bullshit lies again and then Frank is back to square one with the "Wil's a liar" deal....meh.. I am also fully aware that Wil's big downfall is going to be the inability to kiss ass when he needs to.  It's one of my favorite things about him but also the thing that will most likely get him booted in the end. Well.. that along with all the freaking confusion surrounding him due to Joe. I have really never seen anything like Joe ever.  I mean I actually really respected the lying and playing both sides of the house that Shelly did last year.  I didn't like her much as a player, but I thought she was pretty good at it and kept a good poker-face.  Joe on the other hand seems to have no rhyme or reason for his lies or for how much he hates Wil...he just does.. AND ITS FUCKING ANNOYING!! <--screamed in Joe DR style

Like I said, I didn't see a while lot of the feeds tonight. I just saw enough to get annoyed basically. Not only was my power out for the majority of the night, but whoever does the night feeds currently is really off their game. The cuts are getting longer and longer and it's becoming one of those things where you are watching the 24/7 fish feeds that occasionally cut to house guests.  Surprisingly...we didn't get ANY cuts that I remember during the several hour long game of charades the whole house played together after veto, but  now that game talk is going on and they are trying to decide the perks and downsides of keeping Joe or Wil, we can't see a damn thing...just fish fish fish.

OH and I almost forgot..for those that haven't heard, apparently the person wearing the zingbot costume at the veto comp actually fainted which traumatized some of the HGs. I just though tthat was weird.  It has nothing to do with gametalk whatsoever.

Anyway, I will try to do better tomorrow as I should hopefully still have my power on then. =)
