The Night Owl

For the most part the feeds were really boring yesterday and tonight.  There were a few tidbits here and there that are worth mentioning though.

Jessie and Spencer are nominated as predicted.  While Andy was the one to put the keys in, this is of course another Amanda/Helen HOH...mostly Amanda this time.  When the feeds returned from the nomination ceremony, Amanda was telling McCrae "Helen MUST GO next week."  and that she must be backdoored.  This is typical for Amanda at this point. As soon as the nomination ceremony happens each week, by the end of it she is pushing for the next week's target.

Earlier in the day, Helen had given a gentle push to Andy about possibly getting Amanda out this week, but as he is more loyal to Amanda than Helen, this of course did not fly.  She continued to question it off and on a little tonight through stealth whispers, but each time Andy just told her "it's not time to make a move like that yet."

I'm honestly not sure what exactly it is that Aaryn is up to.  She is supposed to be in a final 4 alliance with Amanda, McCrae, and Andy, but they all want Jessie gone this week, and Aaryn is suddenly pushing to keep Jessie and evict Spencer.  She only dropped subtle hints about it to Andy and Helen, but she spent a good portion of her night coaching Jessie on various veto comps and how to win them as well as how to manipulate the HGs into thinking they need you to stay.

While Aaryn was coaching Jessie, Amanda and McCrae talked about who they are taking to the final 3 with them.  Amanda has become very comfortable with the idea (or fact as it is in her mind) that she will be in the final 2.  She and McCrae talked about taking Elissa "because she can't win anything"...I guess Amanda forgot Elissa has won one more comp than she has.  They talked about other people too, but never came to a conclusion.  When Judd was still in tight with Amanda, he told her several times not to get comfortable because if you do, the next week you'll go home.  I've never ever wished for a prediction to come true so hard in my life...although Helen going out would be great too.

Veto should pbe played sometime today.  Most of the HGs are pretty sure it will be either the "count until an hour" comp or the "count things and play poker" comp.  I have no idea what it will actually be.  With Andy being HOH this week and the MVP twist gone, I don't expect anything crazy to happen.  Even if Jessie or Spencer wins Veto, it will just mean that GinaMarie will go up and likely go home instead of Jessie (although Amanda says Jessie must still go even if GM goes up).  The most exciting thing we will probably see this week is whether Amanda or Helen is a better schemer since the two are now ready to go after each other next week. The Night Owl

Well, it's been a long night.  We watched the first double eviction of the season go down, and while the drama was very high and entertaining, I was also extremely sad to see my very favorite person in the house walk out the door.

When the feeds returned after the show, Amanda and Helen had already begun to game hard again.  They were exchanging stories to Jessie and Aaryn and Spencer and anyone else who would listen about how "Bad" Judd was and how he was a liar and had to go etc..   Alternately, McCrae and Andy were crying and McCrae was second guessing his decision.  When McCrae got a moment alone with Spencer, Spencer told him "I don't know what all this other crap going around about Judd is, but he always told me he was loyal to you and Amanda and Andy.".  This later spawned a conversation between Amanda and McCrae where McCrae told her that he did not actually believe that Judd was up to all the stuff she was claiming he was, and he felt like this was a really bad game move for him to get rid of one of his allies.  DING DING DING!!

Shortly after the feeds had come back, they went to trivia again so the next HOH comp could be played.  Surprise! Andy won!!  I was actually really shocked by the fact that he won, but unfortunately it's disappointing (in my opinion anyway) because it means this will be  ANOTHER freaking week of doing what "the house" wants...meaning what Amanda and Helen want.   Amanda has already told Andy to put up Spencer and Jessie and make Jessie the target.  If one of them wins veto Amanda wants GinaMarie to go up. Andy has agreed to all of this. ...*snore*

Amanda had a meltdown (surprise!) and a small fight with McCrae because she did not win the HOH comp and she blames him for beating her out.  It sounds like it was one of those games where you play against each other and then the last people standing battle it out.  From what I understand the last pairing came down to Andy and McCrae.  Andy then got to choose have-nots, but people volunteered, so he didn't have to choose.  Have-nots ended up being Elissa, Helen, Aaryn, and GinaMarie.

There was a lot more talk between various HGs over the course of the night, but very little of it had to do with game.  Most of it was either sadness over Judd being gone or just talk of how stressful the double eviction was.  Aaryn got her HOH basket. Andy got his HOH room. He got an old fingernail that fell off when he was a kid and his teeth in his HOH basket.  I'm not kidding. They got alcohol and Helen smoked a celebratory cigarette and trumpeted on and on about Andy being "America's HOH" right now. blah..blah...blah..

I expect we will see Spencer and Jessie put on the block this morning.  It should be a fairly uneventful day and week really since there is no longer and MVP or third nomination, and not even a have-not comp.  Even if one of the people on the block wins veto, a predictable nom is going up in their place.

I have a lot of questions in my head this week.  Why oh WHY won't they take a swing at Aaryn? With 3 HOH wins and a veto win only halfway through the season, why not go after her when they KNOW she can play HOH again this coming week?  They all thought Howard and Judd were "the most dangerous players in the game", but for some reason no one will take a swing at Aaryn the comp monster or Helen or Amanda who have been running every HOH via manipulation since the season started.  I don't get it!

I also want to know what Julie means with all her cryptic tweets about reset buttons and her comment to the HGs during the live show that "this year going to jury does not necessarily mean you are out of the game.".  It could be something totally stupid, OR (and I'm afraid to even hope) it COULD mean one of the evicted HGs will get to come back into the game.  He was one of the only people I was actually entertained by while watching the late night feeds.

Outside of pondering  twists and why this cast REFUSES to shake things up or make a move, the only thing left to do is wait until all the outsiders are voted out so we can actually see who will get who first when it comes down to Helen and Elissa vs McCrae and Amanda.

The Night Owl

Well, tonight was the halfway party and tomorrow is the start of Jury.  There was a tweet today from Julie with a picture of last year's reset button that was used to end the coaches twist and bring them into the game.  I'm going to go ahead and speculate that the picture means the end of the MVP twist and the beginning of 2 nominees instead of 3 for this season.

As far as what happened tonight, the HGs got a practice game for the coming double eviction.  It was one of those "roll the ball down the slide and get it in the bucket" sort of things.  I personally think it will be the final HOH.  I'm thinking the DE will go as usual and be a quiz for the first HOH and then a "run and find something inside a bin of something" to win the veto" comp.  The HGs are all pretty sure it's a double eviction now though because production insisted that GinaMarie needed to practice the game as well, which of course means she will be competing (which she wouldn't be if it was a regular HOH).  Aaryn, Amanda, and Elissa were all very good at the practice game.  The others caught on pretty quickly and got better at it.  Jessie and Judd were not great at it (unfortunately since they are the 2 main targets) and Candice got no balls in, but that's okay since she will be headed to jury by the time it's played.

Right after the hour of practice was over and the backyard was again locked down, the halfway party began.  When the feeds came back, everyone was a little drunk and food coma'd out.  They were excited they got to hear music and eat cake and pizza and drink.  So, for a LITTLE while everyone played nice and were civil to each other.  The only strange whisperings going on were about Jessie who apparently isolated herself during some of the party, and at some point told GinaMarie that it was "her vote" when GM asked her who she was voting out.

Amanda and McCrae had made a deal with GinaMarie earlier in the week for her HOH room for the night, so shortly after the party, they began trying to clear people out of the HOH so they could spend their night up there.  For several hours people popped in and out to talk strategy and votes.  Amanda, looking a lot like Cruella Deville got things stirred up for a while when she went between Aaryn and GinaMarie getting info and then confronting the other about the info she got from the first one.  She also made sure to get her final plugs into Aaryn about Judd being bad and needing to go.

Amanda also started a fight with McCrae as soon as they had the room to themselves.  This one had something to do with Aaryn, but to be honest I tuned a lot of it out.  Andy, McCrae, and Amanda all made sure that they each were on board with the plan to put up Jessie and Spencer and backdoor Judd unless he wins the veto.  Then Andy hopped downstairs to Helen to make sure she would do the same thing, and also get Elissa to do the same thing should either one of them win HOH.

For a little while McCrae protested to Amanda that they are stronger with Judd there than with him gone, but Amanda said "HE MUST GO!! He put me on the BLOCK for 2 weeks now!!".  Then she had sex with him in the HOH bed and the matter seems to be settled.

Jessie, Elissa, Helen, and Candice had kind of a girls night in the have-not room, but I only caught bits and pieces of it.  A lot of it was Jessie explaining to Elissa that she did not understand why everyone was so much more determined to get her out next and no one was even considering evicting someone like Amanda.  They also did Bible studies and just chatted in general.

McCrae and Amanda had an after sex chat in the HOH room about who would go home if they were put up together.  Amanda said there was no way she would get voted out over him.  She believes everyone would vote him out instead.  She also added that "there is NO WAY anyone would put them up together. It just isn't going to happen.".  Okay, Amanda...

Candice and Elissa are still up chatting in the living room, and Amanda and McCrae are still off and on game talking in the HOH, but most everyone else is in bed and things are winding down.  So here it is:  Judd has only a few options to survive this DE.  He wins HOH, he gets drawn to play for veto and wins, Spencer wins HOH, Jessie wins HOH, Julie tells the HGs that America has been the MVP the last 3 weeks before the eviction happens.  Outside of one of those 4 things happening, he is likely toast.  In the event that one of those things does happen and he stays, Jessie will likely be the second person out tomorrow night.

I will be super sad if Judd leaves.  His game may not be perfect (none of them are playing a perfect game) but I am highly entertained by him, and my late night feed watching will get a lot tougher without him there, so I'm really hoping he somehow pulls this off and manages to stay.  Dream scenario for me would be Jessie winning HOH and actually having the balls to put up Amanda and McCrae or Amanda and Helen, and with only 2 nominees, Amanda or Helen would go.  Before you jump down my throat, please notice I said "DREAM" scenario.  I don't believe it will actually happen.

The good news in all of this is that double evictions usually bring pretty exciting nights, and I expect this one will as well (hopefully anyway).  So, that's something to look forward to.  As always, you guys can follow me on twiter @ashes2ashes13 for more feed updates.  Happy double eviction day!!  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

A lot lot LOT of game talking went on tonight.  I think we are basically back where we started with Candice going home, but that didn't stop a lot of plans and freak-outs from happening.

When I first turned on the feeds tonight, Amanda was telling Aaryn about how she would like to win HOH this coming week and put up Helen and Jessie with the option of backdooring Judd OR possibly just sending Helen home.

While Amanda was having this talk with Aaryn, Jessie, Helen, and Elissa were plotting a way to get the votes to keep Candice and take Amanda out while they had the chance and she was on the block.  They discussed how it would have to work, and came to the conclusion that they needed to first pull Andy's vote and then Judd's.  Helen having no idea that Andy is much more loyal to Amanda than her, decided to go ahead and pull him into the storage room to talk to him about it.  Andy of course immediately said "no no NO!!" to the idea of voting out Amanda.  He told Helen he didn't feel comfortable with doing it this week.  Helen told Andy that she had heard that Amanda had plans to get her out the next week.  I'm not sure if she had really heard that or not, but if she was lying, it was a good one since it's actually kind of true.  Andy told her he had never heard anything from Amanda about wanting Helen out, and they needed to stay solid.  While they were talking, Aaryn was listening outside of the door to the storage room and then entered in the middle of the conversation.  She asked what they were talking about and they lied and said they were trying to figure out how they were going to tell Candice that she was going home.

Knowing that what she heard was a lie, Aaryn pulled Amanda into the have-not room to tell her everything she had heard.  Andy was not far behind Aaryn to come and spill what Helen had been saying to him.  He gave Amanda a much lighter version of what had been said and told her to NOT freak out or let anyone know that she knew what was going on.  They discussed making some deals or new alliances that might make Helen trust Amanda more and not want her out, then Andy left.  Aaryn continued telling Amanda that she was pretty sure that people were going to vote her out this week because she was certain that Jessie and Helen were going to be able to pull Judd's vote.

At the moment Aaryn was saying this, Helen was telling Judd about the plan in the storage room and trying to get his thoughts on it.  Like Andy, Judd said no, and that it was not a good idea for their game this week to turn on Amanda and get people after them in favor of keeping Candice who he had never talked any game with.

Although Amanda had been told by Andy to tell no one and not to freak out, she was apparently incapable of holding her tongue, and immediately ran outside to where Helen and Elissa were sitting and started crying to them saying "I just have a feeling there is a plan to get me out and something is going wrong this week.".  They assured her that this was not the case and that she was totally safe because they were all voting to evict Candice.

Meanwhile, Aaryn pulled Judd into the have-not room to ask him a bunch of questions about who he was going to vote out and if he was the MVP.  She aked her questions in a way that very much tipped off Judd that Amanda and the rest of his alliance may not trust him anymore.  He reassured Aaryn that he had no intentions of keeping Candice, and was definitely going to keep Amanda.

Because Amanda freaked out and tipped off Helen and Elissa that she knew something was going on, Andy had to pull Helen into the HOH room to do some damage control.  They discussed Amanda just being paranoid and it not being a good idea to get her out this week.  They then pulled Jessie into the HOH room to tell her that it wasn't going to happen.  Jessie told them that she did not feel secure keeping Amanda, but she did not push the issue since the votes were not there.  At the end of this conversation both Aaryn and GinaMarie entered the HOH room.

After Andy, Helen, and Jessie left, Aaryn began telling GinaMarie that she was sure that Amanda was getting voted out insted of Candice.  She said she was positive that Elissa, Jessie, and Helen were going to be able to convince Judd or Andy to vote with them.  GinaMarie said that she would just have to put up someone who was going to keep Candice as the replacement nom instead of Spencer.

GinaMarie then began holding meetings in the HOH room, starting with Judd.  She kind of threatened him about his vote and insinuated that she may put him up if he didn't agree to vote the way she wante dhim to.  Judd was completely confused as to who might be saying that he wasn't voting out Candice, and went on to convince GM that there would be no perks to him keeping Candice and that he definitely would not vote out Amanda.  At the end of the meeting GM told him he was 120% safe, but the meeting was of course enough to set off Judd's paranoia.

After a few more meetings in the HOH room, GinaMarie was convinced that they still had the votes to get Candice out and decided to go back to her plan of nominating Spencer when Jessie pulls herself off the block. Meanwhile downstairs, Aaryn was telling McCrae and Andy how she needed GinaMarie gone sooner than later since she was freaking out and had the worst case of HOH-itis Aaryn had ever seen.

For a little while, there was a lull in game talk since Amanda was convinced that she was okay and that they had the votes, and Helen had stopped trying to push for a vote to get Amanda out.

During the lull dinner was cooked and served, and alcohol was delivered.  Amanda decided she did not feel up to having her bachelorette party tonight, so the alcohol was distributed between the regular drinkers (Judd, McCrae, Aaryn, and Elissa).

The lull did not last long.  Aaryn started telling Amanda some things Jessie had said about getting she and Helen out last week when Aaryn was HOH, and that set Amanda off all over again.  Adding to her paranoia was the fact that Jessie and Elissa were in fact down in the cockpit room trying to figure out a way to get her voted out.  Elissa's brain is still stuck on not voting out Candice and so she and Jessie have set their minds to trying to find the votes.  Judd, Andy, and Candice at different moments in time tried to come into the cockpit, but in her awkward and very obvious Elissa way, she ran them all off one by one causing each one of them to run up to the HOH where Amanda was having her freak out so that they could report what they had seen.

Helen, Amanda, Aaryn, GinaMarie, and Andy all tried to talk over each other in the HOH room for quite a while, but they were all basically saying the same thing.  It doesn't matter what Elissa or Jessie does, because they have all the votes they need and are not going to be swayed.

Eventually after being convinced once again that she was alright, Amanda decided she was okay and went outside to talk to McCrae leaving Judd to talk to Helen and GM about whether he made a stupid mistake by letting Jessie keep the veto.

As Judd's aggrivation with Jessie has grown this week, he has stopped sleeping in her bed and tonight was planning to sleep in GinaMarie's old bed and let Aaryn sleep there as well.  Andy was planning to sleep with Jessie.  Aaryn has been gradually (or not so gradually or subtly) putting the moves on Judd as he distances himself from Jessie.  This became an issue tonight when Elissa found out where Aaryn was sleeping.  Elissa told Jessie, and Jessie told Judd that she missed sleeping with him and wanted him to come back to her bed.  Elissa then threw out "I dunno Jessie, I have a feeling a new sleeping situation is happening tonight"  In her passive aggressive Elissa way.  For a while this made things awkward and Judd talked to Amanda, McCrae, and Andy about it, but it actually led to a VERY interesting conversation.

At the height of all the weirdness with the bed situation, Jessie got Judd to come talk to her in the room where they normally sleep.  She laid out the entire game as she sees it right now.  She talked about how she knows that Amanda and McCrae have been controlling who does and doesn't go home from the very beginning. She told him how Helen knows that Andy is more loyal to them after tonight. She explained how Aaryn is also completely loyal to them and GinaMarie does whatever Aaryn tells her to.  She broke down for him what would happen if he voted with Helen, Elissa, and herself to evict Amanda.  She said McCrae would be after she and Helen more than anyone and would likely have to stick with Judd just to have someone unless he just wanted to stick with Aaryn.  She told him Andy would likely become completely loyal to Helen once he no longer had Amanda because he would have no choice.  She finished it by explaining that she knows that if Candice goes this week, she will go next week, and after that it will be Elissa, and then he or Helen going home.  She had a lot of valid points.   When she was done telling him how she saw things, she told him to just think about it and not decide what to do right away.  Judd told her he would think about it and that he definitely saw what she was saying.  Surprisingly, he did not tell Amanda and McCrae about this plan to get Amanda out...

When Judd did not tell Amanda and McCrae about his conversation with Jessie, I thought he was possibly considering what she said, and maybe he is a little bit since he did make out with Jessie for a while (stop that! NO MORE SHOWMANCES!!), but a little later, he did start to tell Andy that Jessie wants Amanda out, but that he did not want to tell Amanda because it would cause her to freak out, so my gut feeling is that he is not even going to take it into consideration.

At this point I still feel like Candice is leaving even though we have a few more days and a bachelorette party to get through before that happens.  I expect to see Spencer put on the block in Jessie's place later today.  Hopefully the scrambling will keep on coming.  At least it isn't boring.  As always you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight feed updates.  Until tomorrow night..
