Live Feed Blackout Info

The feeds will be back in 5+ hours and we have a show in a bit to fill us in but for those that don't follow us on twitter here what is up.

On the show Tuesday (it was taped for tonight), Jenn was evicted 2-0 and then Danielle won the HoH competition, apparently beating Dan in a tie-breaker.

So the quack pack made it to the final 4 (without Brit) and Danielle has locked a final three spot.

The Power of Veto is MORE important than the HoH this time as no matter who Danielle nominates, the POV winner will be safe and able to vote out one of the other two non HoH peoples.  This assumes Danielle doesn't win POV - if she does then she can change her noms if she wants to select who gets to vote the 2nd quack pack member out.

We will probably find out nominations and who won the POV competition after the feeds return - my guess is the POV meeting will be live on Thursday's show since there are only 4 people left in the house and it can be used for filler having it 'live.'

There you have it - remember Thursday's show will end with Part 1 of the final HoH competition and will be endurance.

Scott's BB14 Endorsement

Since we're just over two weeks away from the most important reality television vote of the year, it is probably time that I show the world where I stand. Various factions have been courting me for the last few weeks, hoping that I turn my attention to their side. I have leggy brunettes on one side loading up their twitter timeline with sultry poses. On the other, it is all glitter-enhanced breasts and lacey panties. Which side will I choose?

Neither, actually. I've given so much thought to who is the most deserving winner of Big Brother #14. I've looked at flashback footage of everybody left in the game. I have googled their pre-show lives and listened to their post-show aspirations. As I sit here on my couch this Labor Day Monday, though, nursing a whiskey-Coke and chainsmoking American Spirit menthols, a lightbulb just exploded above my head.

Excuse me while I change that bulb.

Ok, I'm back. There is only one real choice for a Big Brother winner that would fully encapsulate this season. This person represents not just the dreams of anybody who signs up to go on the show, but also the reality of what will come in the weeks, months, and years after they are crowned the victor. This person is also what the producers, cameramen, viewers, feedwatchers, bloggers, and podcasters deserve for sitting through this drivel for the last two months.

Clearly, the perfect choice to win this year's version of Big Brother just has to be a delusional, mutton-faced, wanna-be Southern belle by the name of Danielle Murphree. She combines a great sense of grandeur with a complete lack of self-awareness, but, to be honest, everybody left in the house is guilty of these mismatched character traits.

Take Frank. Please, take Frank. One of the great competition machines in recent seasons has zero capability in judging character or reading between the most heavily-spaced lines in history. Or look at Jenn...if you can find her. Her "big move" that "proved" she was a master competitor did nothing but make her look like a fool.

And then we have Ian. Oh, poor poor Ian, the human vibrator. If Ashley really did want to get off while in the house, she should have just laid on the hammock whenever Ian was in a shaky mood.

Everything these morons have done in the last few weeks is set us up for the inevitable Dan victory that Grodner has clearly desired since he was handed a few tens of thousands to return to the show, but Grodner doesn't deserve this satisfaction. No, it has to go to our little snack-chomping mirror-poser.

If you don't agree with me, just think of the possibilities after the season ended. Danielle believes that Big Brother is the kickstarter to fame. Instead of Honey Boo, Teen Mom, or Real Housewives on the covers of supermarket tabloids, our little Danielle truly believes she will be their next cover girl. Time after time, she has related fantasies of being recognized and hounded wherever she goes after the season ends. What a better cap to this season is to see each and every one of her dreams crushed within days, if not hours, of her victory?

Let's be honest here. We may love Big Brother, but it has yet to be the stepping stone to any kind of fame. Their biggest star, Dr. Will, is lucky to make a cameo on a Real Housewives episode or a TLC "documentary". Their second biggest star hosts an internet show that is only a quarter-step above what we do every Saturday night on the Big Brother Gossip Show. After that, you have a serial tweeter, a Playboy TV asslicker, and a few dozen people who could walk onto Julie Chen's set this week and be recognized by NOBODY.

This is Danielle's year, and from here on in I will do nothing but push for her triumphant victory. Are you with me? I can't hear you. ARE YOU WITH ME???

Power of Veto Meeting - Epic? Does Dan have the votes?

Dan is up and waiting for the Power of Veto meeting which will start sometime around 11am BB time.

We assume since Ian won his POV first that he will be given the chance to use it first.  He doesn't plan to use it.  Then Jenn will go and is planning to use it to save Dan and Frank will put Britney up in his place.

Are you going - wait - what?  Then you need to read Ash's recap of last night's craziness.  Go here to read it.

Once that is over we hope the feeds will come back quickly - usually they are back by 12pm BB time.

Britney may be in full meltdown mode or she may still be processing things.

I've speculated on the next part all morning.  Whats going to happen with the voting?

It is all well and good that Dan will most likely now be safe but for his plan to work 100% he wants to see Britney evicted on Thursday.  There are five people voting and only 2 for sure will be voting out Britney.

Dan and Jenn will of course vote out Britney as they have now formed an alliance with her and Frank.

But what of the other three votes?  Shane, Ian and Joe?

Since the plan by Jenn and Frank is to somewhat call out Ian when the POV is used (Frank is going to tell Britney to 'pop a squat'), I'd have to assume that he will be solidly in Britney's corner.

Will Joe and or Shane try to join a four person  alliance and vote out Britney?

If they do the math - like I have been - they'd be better to vote out Danielle - forcing Dan, Jenn and Frank into a three person alliance vs the other four and Frank can't play for HoH for 2 weeks.  Ian, and Shane have both won HoH and Britney has been close.  What have Dan and Jenn done?

It just depends on the way things play out from this afternoon to Wednesday night.  As of right now I could see it going either way.  As much as I wanted all the coaches out - I'd rather see Britney stay this week and have Danielle sent to the Jury House to spend some quality time with Ashley.

Your thoughts?  Do you think Joe will scurry over to Frank and Dan and be their third vote?  Will the Nomance resume and we'll see Shane vote out his own coach?

Its gonna be interesting.

You are dead to me (in this game).

After '24 hours' (not really quite that long), Dan came out of the Have Not room and acted like he was all disorientated and confused.  He then called a house meeting and announce he knew he was going home so this was his funeral.

He proceeded to say nice things about each HG and finished off with Ian, whom he compared to himself, Frank, who he said was his biggest adversary in the house, and Danielle.....  oh about Danielle.

Dan started out explaining that when he played with Memphis he could trust him to never hurt his game intentionally or unintentionally....  he then went on to talk about Danielle and said she had broken her trust with him and she knows what she did but he wasn't going to explain it - but from now on Danielle is 'dead to me in this game.'

He then wrapped up the meeting and went off to talk to Frank alone in the HoH room.

With Frank he proceeded to swear on everything that he was going to be truthful with him, explained all the things he had been involved in from the start, outted Ian and the 'quack pack' and then proposed Frank try to get Ian or Jenn to save him with the POV and the two of them work together for a final two alliance.  Dan hopes to see Britney put up in his place tomorrow if the veto can be used.

Frank seems to have taken this offer very seriously - not sure if he can get Ian or Jenn to use it as both seem quite unhappy with Dan's 'funeral' and the way he hurt Danielle.

Dan then went down to find Danielle - and told her it was all a set up - and Danielle - after being briefly upset - is now over it and will keep working with Dan - he has mostly been honest with her although I think he lied about how he felt sick after his solitary time.  He has told her he made a final 2 deal with Frank (that he apparently doesn't intend to keep).

If Dan pulls this off - he rockets right up to the top for his ability to manipulte - although you have to admit he has a perfect subject to work with in Danielle who is so ready to forgive him no matter how badly he treats her.

I could go on and on but its late.  Is this amazing gameplay by Dan?  Or is it going too far?
