The Night Owl - Weds Night

Well tomorrow is the big eviction day, and for the first time in a really long time, I can honestly say I'm not totally sure where the vote lies.  I Think I have a general idea, but that could all change in the next few hours since these people flip flop like no other cast I've ever seen before.

I left off Yesterday morning with Brittany and Jocasta walking around sulking and fuming after what Devin told them and everyone else scrambling to figure out how to cover their asses.  When I woke up today Brittany had been working her ass off to get everyone not in the Bomb Squad to understand how much of an outsider they are.  She told the stories and her theories over and over and over.  I'm fairly certain she caught something up in Devin's room because she just could not stop talking today. But ultimately at the end of the day, she and Jocasta were the only ones really into what she was selling about "the outsiders".

Most other people not in the BS knew about the BS already on some level and knew that it had pretty much split and that none of them were really sticking together as an 8 person alliance.  So most people like Nicole, Hayden, and Victoria just heard her out and then went and told people like Christine and Devin about Brittany's attempts at an uprising.  I commend her for playing the game and trying to rally people, but I think she lost a lot of credit with people for the way she went about it. She basically embodied a female Devin for a while and told everyone how "The good people need to win" And "A parent should win Big Brother" and my favorite "I don't know what low lifes with no kids like Zach are even doing here. The money means so much more to us parents."

Donny is the only person that I really have NO read on the standing of.  Supposedly he is Team America with Derrick all the way, but he supposedly is also now with Jocasta and Brittany.  His vote tomorrow will likely go to keeping Paola as a sympathy vote for his friend, but it speaks volumes of his poker face that I have no idea where he really stands on things.  He is a smart guy.

Jocasta is also, as of now anyway, voting to keep Paola in the house. She is still stuck on it being her duty to Paola to vote against the "violent woman hater".  But really, more than anything today, Jocasta just talked about how much she needs to "poo poo".  Apparently that's her biggest issue right now.

Early in the night the HGs got a practice HOH game in the backyard.  It's some kind of golf/croquet type of game where they will likely be trying to hit a ball at targets that get them points or something.

During the end of the practice session Zach talked to Brittany and she told him that she didn't know who to trust, but that no matter what she was voting Paola out and keeping him.  After everyone came back inside and the lockdown continued, Cody, and Derrick tried to clear the air wtih Brittany and Jocasta for a while..or cover their asses at least.  Brittany believed some of it but not all of it and Jocasta, from what I could tell, believed none of it....though most of what they said was true.

A lot of the former/remaining members of the BS have been worried about becoming huge targets today and have been trying to get the focus more on Caleb, Devin, and Amber since most of them want those 3 gone also. So, while Derrick, Cody, Jocasta, and Brittany were talking in the Hive Room, Zach decided to pull Amber into the pantry and set her off by telling her he had heard that a lot of people were mad at her/after her since she has been working with Caleb from day one.

It worked. Amber immediately busted into the Hive Room to announce that she has NO alliance and that she is on her own playing her own game and that Caleb in an alliance with her.  Then she went and did the same thing in the bathroom.  Brittany felt like the comment was aimed at her and asked Amber that, and Amber started crying.  Caleb didn't want to see "his princess" upset, so he went and basically said the same thing Amber said except in a very forceful and Caleb like way to the Hive Room crew.  When he mentioned that things could be misconstrued...like Jocasta and Cody sitting together could be thought of as a showmance, Jocasta decided she had had it.  She first argued with Caleb. Something about "Not when my husband isn't here so I can defind it" or something like that..  And then SHE too ran off crying.

Caleb then went to the bathroom where Pao, Zach, and Donny were sitting and went off to them about the Amber thing and about Jocasta.  They convinced him maybe he should apologize to Jocasta. He did, and within 5 minutes the whole thing was over. BUT, it did put an even larger target on Amber when she started acting so erratically.

While Amber sat around telling people how she thought it was stupid to let the game get in the way of friends because friends are more important to her (she still doesn't know she is on Big Brother), Christine made her rounds with Zach, Frankie, Nicole, Hayden etc..  To make sure everything was basically covered.  Zach and Christine also took a moment to form the "We Hate Devin" club after discussing what Zach had done to set Amber off.

There was more scrambling around and chatter, but as of NOW, I think this is where the vote stands: Pro Zach: Cody, Derrick, Caleb, Christine, Nicole, Victoria, Amber, Hayden, Brittany, and Possibly Frankie.  Pro Pao: Jocasta, Donny.

But these people cannot seem to hold their crazy in for any length of time, so during the time the feeds are down tomorrow before the show, all of that could change.  I'm calling it an early night because most of them have either gone to bed or are headed that way.  There is just some chatter now about what they will do if they win HOH.  Derrick has been talking with Zach, Cody, and Hayden about either putting up Brittany because of the way she is acting, or possibly putting someone like Devin on one HOH's Noms and Amber on the other so that when one of them is on the block no matter what, and if that one wins veto and comes off, Caleb goes up.  There are lots of plans being tossed around and most of them involved getting rid of Devin or Caleb, but it all depends on who gets HOH and this one is really a crapshoot.  As always you guys can follow me @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight updates. Until tomorrow night...

Big Brother Season 15, Episode 16 Recap

It’s an important night in the Big Brother house. The actual eviction may be nothing special, as it’s pretty clear it is going to be Howard, but the show is rumored to conclude with an endurance competition. This week’s winner should set the tone for what happens throughout the start of the second half of the season.

Before we begin, though, it should be noted that we had some weirdness on the feeds today. In previous weeks the feeds have been live through most of the day. In fact, quite often they’ve gone up to fifteen minutes before showtime before taking them down.

Not today, though. They woke everybody earlier than normal, and then Big Brother made an announcement while they were preparing for the day. Shortly after, the feeds went to trivia, and we haven’t seen them the rest of the day. What gives? Nobody knows, but there’s been lots of rumors floating around.

So let’s get going with the reaction to Spencer taking himself off the block, with Aaryn replacing him with Candice. Spencer is still bummed that Howard is up. “I’ve got to save him and make sure that Amanda runs out that door on Thursday.” Do you think Candice is happy about this? Of course not. She’s pissed the “redneck girl” put her up. Amanda, though, doesn’t feel so bad being up because Howard is still on the block. Howard, meanwhile, is hoping somebody “has the guts” to save both him and Candice.

Howard is now shown on the elliptical telling Candice neither of them are going home. Candice replies, “grab your rebel flag. Black people on the block.” She continues on saying that Aaryn is scary, but he’s adamant neither are going home.

We jump to Spencer talking about getting five votes to get Amanda out. He talks to GinaMarie for a bit, and they both want to “keep that dude”. GinaMarie seems open to voting out Amanda. He then moves on, along with Howard, to Judd and Andy. Their message is that people don’t have to obey the plans of “certain people”. Andy says it all “makes total sense”. Spencer also talks to Candice, saying he wants to be on her side to take out Amanda.

Andy runs to Amanda to tell her about Spencer’s plan. “Of course it’s not going to happen, but they think they have me and Judd.” Amanda is paranoid, and is worried that Andy was MVP. They hug, and she walks out of the storage room.

We’re now outside, and Spencer sits down next to Amanda. They make some small talk, before Amanda says “I know what you’re doing, but it’s not going to work”. Spencer denies that he’s working against her, but Amanda presses him. Spencer claims that his wish is to get rid of Candice, but he’s “not about to kiss her ass”. Amanda says she’s confident that she has the votes to stay, and if he stops the plan that maybe he won’t be the “main target”.

He goes on to complain about how she pushes her weight around, but “I’m not some punk bitch that’s going to kiss your ass”. Finally, he tells her to shut up, and she calls him to quit bullying her. “Who tells a woman to shut up?”

Helen, who was working out, goes inside and reports on the whole story to Candice. “Anything I can do to hurt Spencer’s game, I’m going to do”, Helen explains in the diary room. “Maybe I’ll have a ‘keep it real with Candy’ moment”. She’s pissed that Spencer has promised her to keep her safe this week, so she wants to “put the bullseye smack dab on (his) forehead”.

She goes outside and announces a meeting, leading Amanda to say “house meeting always go really well”. Candice then lays into Spencer, who says that he only said “my personal preference is for Howard to stay”. She responds that she heard that Spencer had said he wanted Amanda to “choke on her saliva”, which he also denies. “Stop being a liar.” She ends it by saying that she hopes that “everybody uses their own mind” when they vote, and that Spencer needs to keep his name out of his mouth.

Jessie is now inside whining to Aaryn and GinaMarie on how Candice is treating her. For some reason, she is afraid of her “fierce social game”. Say what? “That’s scary to me.” Aaryn replies that maybe Candice should be the real target, and GinaMarie agrees. All they need is four votes, after all, and Aaryn is certainly willing. Too bad it won’t do anything but create a false hope for CBS-only viewers.

It’s now time for Julie to talk to the house. She congratulates them for making it to almost the halfway mark, and then informs them of Britney’s baby. Oh yeah, and the stupid Kardashian baby. Ugh, who cares. Baby news over, and Julie asks what Jessie misses from home. It’s her dog. God, this is a waste of time. Judd is asked the same question, and he misses his family, friends, and dog.

Speaking of Judd, it’s now time to meet his family. They’re exactly as you’d expect. Good for them, but I see way too many of those types of folks in my area.

It’s now time for the final pleas. Amanda goes up first, and she says hi to her family and then says “I’m not ready to go home next”. She is grateful for McCrae, and thanks GinaMarie for calming her down. She’s hoping for a Jewish wedding in the house.

Candice then says hi to “both my moms out there”, and babbles and babbles and babbles. “Vote with your heart. Howie, you’re my best friend in the house, and we’re both on the block because of it.”

Howard is last, and he thanks God before thanking his family and his church. He says he loves his castmates, and can’t wait to be friends outside of the house. He wants to people to vote with their heart, not because of what they’ve been told to do.

Voting then starts with Helen, who votes to evict Howard, as does Elissa. Spencer votes to evict his “besty boo” Candice. McCrae goes back to the house choice, and votes against Howard, as does Andy, Judd, GinaMarie, and Jessie. Howard is out, 7-1!

After commercials, Julie announces the news. He hugs everybody, saving Candice for last. She gives him a peck, and is out the door. Everybody gathers to watch his name go dark (why, I  don’t get as I have never understood this ritual). Julie asks why he was seen as a threat, and he goes on about the “power in the house”. Julie wants to know who the power belongs to, and he says Helen, Amanda, and McCrae. He adds that he tried to get in with them, but the Moving Company lie screwed his game. Julie pushes on the Movers and his lie to Helen. Who cares, really?

Julie then brings up the racism in the house. Howard says that outside of the house, “it’s easy to walk away from it”. When you’re in the house, you can’t walk away but he was thankful that Candice was there. He didn’t confront it because he was afraid of his temper, and he gets applause for that answer.

For final goodbyes, Spencer says he’s upset that he’s gone. Amanda bitches that getting him out has been “exhausting”. Helen kisses ass, as she always does. She sucks. Speaking of suck, we get Candice’s baby talk to end the segment. Goodbye, Howard, you were a good guy on the wrong season. Oh wait, we’re not done. Julie asks about Candice’s comments about being “friends”, and that leads Howard to go on and on.

It’s now HOH comp time...and it is indeed endurance. It’s called “Bull in the China Shop”. They’re on a barrel, holding a “bull” as long as possible. When they drop off, their china shatters. Last person standing is the new HOH.

Cue the ultra-cheesy music, and we’re off. Elissa almost falls right away,, but saves herself. She’s not doing well on this comp. Others are acting like this is the easiest game ever, and cheer when Julie announces there are no Have-Nots this week. Before we end the show, Julie announces that the first three to drop will get to open a box...and one of them contains five grand. Nobody falls for it...yet.

So after the announcement that next week is a double eviction evening, that’s it for this week. Jump on the feeds to find out who is the next HOH!

What did you think? Did the right person go? Should Candice or Amanda have gone? Who do you think will win HOH? Let us know!

Eviction Night and Possible Endurance HoH Competition

Just a quickie post - feeds have been on trivia for hours - some of us are getting paranoid that Big Brother is getting their hands dirty messing with the HGs.  Howard is/way a lock to go home as of this morning - if he doesn't it will be because Big Brother got involved in some way.  We shall see.

No matter who leaves tonight, we are expecting another Endurance competition - only because the HGs went on lockdown early ealrly Wednesday morning.  No need if it were just a simple quiz competition.

Stay tuned - we will be about to update you when we know more after the show,  and if you haven't signed up for a free trial of the live feeds - WHY NOT?  2 day free trial - click on a banner and get signed up and watch the feeds with us!

The Night Owl

I don't particularly know where to start tonight.  I really thought this would be a recap where I talked about being disappointed over Nick getting evicted (which I am) and poked a little fun at GinaMarie's reactions to it (and I will get there...trust me), but SO much more has happened tonight that my brain feels like mush.  I will try to explain it all, but there is a lot to tell.

So, the live eviction goes about as we expected it. Howard and Jeremy were the only members of the MC to vote to keep Nick, and Howard knew that he was going home anyway.  When Nick left we heard the sobs we all knew were coming from GinaMarie.

When the feeds returned, GinaMarie was sitting sobbing and blowing her nose into Nick's shorts (I'm not kidding) while wearing his hat and talking about how if she just had ONE more week with him then he would have wanted her and they would have been together.  She threw out a bunch of other stalkerish lines like "You guys don't know what we had together alone when it was just us" and one of my favorites "How do I know he won't find a girl at home? How do I know he is gonna wait for me?".  At first I thought to myself..."My gosh, I've never met someone so completely unaware of reality.", but then I remembered Aaryn, and boy did she prove her delusions tonight!

While GinaMarie was still crying in her bed and lamenting her sorrows to Aaryn and Kaitlin, Jessie had the audacity to tell her that she was very sorry this had to happen.  GinaMarie told Jessie it was her fault that Nick was gone and then the fighting started from there.  First there was a squabble between GinaMarie, Aaryn, Kaitlin, and Jessie about the bed situation.  Jeremy and Kaitlin had taken over the bed where Jessie and Judd had been sleeping.  Jeremy and Kaitlin didn't ask, they just did it and then proceded to imply that Jessie was a slut.  Well..it wasn't really just implied.  Aaryn flat out called her one. Judd came into the room to see what was going on between the girls and before he could even say anything Kaitlin Screamed "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM, JUDD" (even though it's actually the room where HE sleeps and Kaitlin does not).   Judd grabbed Jessie and they went upstairs for Helen's HOH reveal.

At some point while everyone else was enjoying Helen's HOH reveal, downstairs Aaryn and Kaitlin (with GM still in the room sobbing into Nick's dirty shorts) flipped over Candice's bed and threw her clothes around the room.  I'm not sure why they did it. I missed that part, but when Candice came back downstairs she wasn't happy about it.  When she first came in the room Kaitlin said something smart to her and that was all it took. Candice said something about them flipping her bed and Aaryn was off and running with the racial slurs all over again.  Candice was mostly calm at first, but Aaryn kept snapping at her and making "the black girl voice" to mock her while telling her "she wants to see that black side come out".   Candice eventually started to lose it, and when GinaMarie chimed in with more nonsense, Candice snapped at GM and GM jumped up off the bed and got into Candice's face AGAIN with more racial slurs.  At this point I think Candice probably would have hit GinaMarie if Howard had not very LITERALLY picked Candice up and dragged her out of the room.

Once Candice and Howard were in the other room, Howard calmed her down a little telling her that he could not control his temper and needed her to stop so she didn't get kicked out of the game.  She went upstairs and confided in Helen and Elissa while Howard stayed downstairs and sobbed in the room alone.  I won't lie to you guys, I had a REALLY hard time watching that happen.  It's the first time watching the BB feeds has ever been emotionally painful for me.

Meanwhile, Amanda had heard that the girls were being mean to Jessie again, and indeed they were.  While Candice was upstairs, they were all railing on her for being a slut and being with Judd now as her "last and 5th choice when everyone else rejected her".  Amanda came in the room and started defending Jessie and saying "let's just ALL clear the air.  Aaryn was not having it so Amanda decided to rat everyone in the room out about each other and what they had all said behind each other's backs.  She told Kaitlin about Aaryn's problems with her and all the mean things she says about her and vice versa.  She told Jessie what they say about her.  Aaryn still balked and told Amanda she was being ridiculous and so Amanda then told Aaryn how she was trying to help her by helping her to stop talking shit behind her alliance's back and stop being portrayed as a racist.  Well of COURSE in Aaryn's mind this isn't actually happening because "she never said one single racist thing ever" so Amanda and Candice are making it all up.  This fight went on for a while and finally ended with Amanda storming off.

After that fight was over, there were a few smaller tiffs between the mean girls group while Helen and Elissa celebrated upstairs.  Howard and Spencer kind of scrambled around together trying to decide what to do now.  Very clear lines seem to have been drawn now that Nick is gone and the MC alliance is a bust.  Andy, Amanda, McCrae, and Judd are together.  Elissa, Helen, Candice, Jessie and Andy are together (Andy is in almost all the alliances lol), and BlondeTourage still consists of GinaMarie, Aaryn, Kaitlin, and Jeremy.  When Spencer came to Howard and McCrae and wanted to vote Nick out earlier today (not knowing McCrae was going to anyway) he thought that he would still be with MC, but they would have just ditched one member. That turned out not to be the case.  Howard and Spencer are now sort of floating along together without any real home.  Everyone agreed to not let on that the are no longer welcome in the alliance, but it's pretty obvious that they are on their own.

A bit later, Amanda tried again with Aaryn.  She tried gently approaching what was wrong with what Aaryn was saying and doing in the house, but Aaryn again managed to turn herself into a victiim.  She cried and claimed that she is afraid that people are going to believe she is racist "when she never said one racist thing and Candice just makes stuff up".   McCrae also jumped in on this one and told her she needed to humble herself and stop acting the way she was acting.  Amanda told her that it was her actions that got people like Nick and David who should still be there evicted, because if her alliance wasn't so awful due to her behavior, they might have actually been working together.   Aaryn of course didn't let any of it sink in, but many of you will be happy to know that she did spend a good amount of time crying in the bathroom about it.  I'm sure it was for selfish reasons, but I still take some pleasure in it.

Meanwhile, GinaMarie STILL dressed in Nick's clothes and hat and blowing her nose into his shorts was making sobbing whaling noises like a dying animal.  That's the only way I know to describe it.  I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this. It's SO much worse than Jessie's funeral in season 11.  Several people have told her that it "isn't like Nick died. He just got evicted". But there is no consoling her.  She has even been wondering out loud if she could possibly get on the same flight as Nick if she self evicted now.  I so wish I were joking when I say that...but I'm not.

I thought things were gong to wind down a bit and I might be able to put my tired BB'd out ass to bed when McCrae decided it was time to drop the MC bomb on Amanda and Andy.  He told them that there WAS indeed a guys alliance and told them all about how it was formed and how he turned on the alliance.  He said he turned on it because 1. he wanted to be with Amanda, and 2. because Spencer, Howard, and Jeremy were so bad at it.  He told them that it sucks that Nick got evicted because he was the only one who was actually a really good player and would have been great to work with, but that the other three were horribly and obvious and that they pushed him around about it so he had to turn on them.  Amanda and Andy took it really well. Amanda said she still trusts him, and Andy couldn't stop talking about how he can't wait to talk about it in the DR.  I'm not terribly surprised that Andy is excited to talk about anything.

Right now they are all still awake but things seem to be winding down, and I am spent so I'm going to have to call it a night. GinaMarie is still crying, but the others are mostly just chit chatting about various game aspects and trying to figure out how the food comp and nominations will go today.  I haven't even heard anyone say who is being nominated yet because the feeds have just been fight fight fight fight, but if I had to guess I would say it would be Aaryn and kaitlin.  The MVP nomination will of course be up to Elissa I'm sure, and she will likely nominate Spencer as a pawn with the intention to backdoor Jeremy if he can't play in the veto comp, or at least get him up there if he doesn't win veto.

HOH is really irrelevant this week in that the whole side of the house against BlondeTourage has the votes and the same targets, so all that will really matter is who the MVP nominates and who wins the veto. If Jeremy doesn't win he is going home.  If he does win, Aaryn is going home.  And that's the way I expect the week to play out.  Is anyone else already exhausted even though it's only week 3?!  I'm so glad the feeds are at least interesting this year though.  I'm really disappointed in losing Nick as a player, and I blame a lot of it on the MVP twist (and a lot of it on his own game play as well), but I can't complain about all the explosions that happened due to his eviction.  This is the reason most of us watch the feeds.  After tonight's events I'm going to say fairly confidently that Nick really needs to invest in a restraining order, and Aaryn may have to go into witness protection or something when she gets out of the house.

Anyway, that's it.  I'm sorry if this has been a jumbled mess of a blog, but it has been a very VERY long last 24 hours, my eyes are BARELY open, and it is WAY past time for me to sleep. As always, you can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more updates.  Until tomorrow night....
