Power of Veto Ceremony Results

Today the Power of Veto Ceremony was held and as we expected Kaitlin used it on herself and Helen put Jeremy up in her place.

Now Jeremy, Spencer (Elissa's MVP nom) and Aaryn are nominated with the eviction scheduled for Thursday.

Odds are pretty high that Jeremy will be the one going and so far he doesn't seem that interested in staying since the meeting - he's already gotten into a argument with Candice over Candice's intentions towards Amanda early on (claiming Candice campaigned to get Amanda out).

I really thought that Aaryn might be the one to go home since eliminating Jeremy will mean 3 guys in a row and a ratio or 8 women to 5 men in the house.   If Jeremy goes this will be the first season of Big Brother where three people of the same sex have been evicted (or kicked out or left voluntarily) at the start since Big Brother 3.  That season 3 women were the first three out (Lori, Tonya and Amy - Amy eventually returned).

Today Helen decided to address the cameras (again) and talk to Jeremy's mom - implying he was getting what he deserved for his actions in the house and she was sorry - Helen finished by blowing a kiss to Jeremy's mom.

I really really really hope this alliance of Elissa and Helen ends soon - the Mom Alliance is going to turn the house into a summer camp much like Big Brother 6 when Maggie and company would sit up in the HoH room and talk about being the good people (Helen uses the term 'good people' a lot).

Tonight Helen has scheduled a "Nail Party" for the girls and is having Kaitlin co-host it with her as a way to make her feel good especially since she will now be the reason her boyfriend Jeremy leaves on Thursday.

A Day In The Life Of: Jeremy

It’s been a few days, but it’s time for me to again follow a house guest for a full day. Since it looks like Jeremy is on his way out the door, he has to be my choice today. This should be fun.

It’s a late day in the house. Nobody is up until Big Brother wakes everybody around ten. Jeremy is not initially seen when feeds come on after the wakeup call. Others do their morning rituals and a bit of laundry.

The first sight of him is at 11 as he puts a new battery in his mic pack and heads into the bathroom. Judd is the only one that acknowledges him with a good morning. They exchange a few other unintelligible things before Jeremy wanders out into the kitchen. From the looks of an occasional cam shot, he’s back in bed for awhile. Outside, Helen is threatening Judd that any vote to save Jeremy will lead to them being next out.

Shortly after, Jeremy comes out and hangs out with Judd, who attempts to give him some encouraging words. There’s more talk about the futility of the Movers, and whether Nick was really a pro skater. Jeremy doesn’t believe he was. “I’ve skated before. I know pro skaters.” Sure you do.

Jessie joins them, and Judd heads in for coffee. She attempts some idle chat, but he’s not real interested. Jessie says she doesn’t understand why he’s mad at her, and Jeremy says that he’s mad because he deserves to be there. “I don’t know how you think I bullied you.” She complains that he always lied to him, and he wants to know when. “Every single time you looked at me and mentioned Bangarang.”

Jeremy says he was just playing to stay. “I didn’t lie to your face. I just withheld information. That’s not lying. I planned on taking you all the way.” She complains he was disrespectful to him with the comments he made behind her back. Jeremy says any info she received was a lie from a Mover trying to throw him under the bus. The Movers would have gone far if they had just been loyal.

Judd returns as they continue their argument. Jessie says that it’s obvious he doesn’t want to be friends outside of the house. “Clearly, I was wrong.” Jeremy plays passive/aggressive as he claims to just be calmly trying to wake up. “It’s the same old games with you”, complains Jessie. “It’s obvious how little respect you have for me.”

Jeremy goes quiet as Jessie and Judd continue to talk, and a few minutes later Elissa comes outside to check on the laundry. “Judd, you’re the only man around here”, she says. Poke, poke, poke. “I agree”, replies Jessie. To his credit, Jeremy says nothing in reply. They also speculate about what will be shown on tonight’s CBS broadcast from Thursday’s craziness, and how they wish they could have competed in that last veto competition.

Elissa joins them again, and more small talk commences. They all talk about the previous seasons they have watched, and how Jeremy’s mom follows a bunch of Big Brother twitter accounts. Jeremy does admit that despite his mother’s love for the show, he didn’t watch until he was cast for the show. He was told by friends to lay low for the opening weeks, but that’s just not in his blood. “I’m a champion.”

This leads to Elissa asking about Jeremy’s accomplishments, and he talks about how he had sponsors to be in skateboarding videos. She wants to know if she believes that Nick was a pro or had gone to Yale. Jeremy said no. “He had history channel facts.” What? Elissa continues to poke at him about actual accomplishments, and he hems and haws. He claims to have stopped playing sports because he had to work to pay for his car. “I worked at 14 and played”, she replies. “I played everything. Tennis, basketball, cheered, gymnastics, track.” Jeremy pole-vaulted, was Little Mr. Arkansas at 6, and had the school record for one day in the high jump. Seriously? After more small talk, Jeremy heads back inside to mope around the kitchen.

As he’s cooking, Elissa comes in and again brings up Nick’s rollerblading. And again, Jeremy says there’s no way he was a pro. “I can spot a professional when I see them.” He’s an expert in rollerblading videos, and he’s never heard or seen him. “If he’s one of them, I would know. At least the name.”

Cooking completed and finally alone with Judd, Jeremy now attempts to broker a deal. He says they heard Helen screaming about him upstairs, and Judd tells him that anybody who doesn’t vote with the house is a target. Spencer is now the one who interrupts this chat, so we get more inane blabber about nothing. Judd wanders off, and talk turns to working out before Jeremy again heads inside.

Kaitlin is now up, and they hug. She’s still tired, but can’t sleep with all of the screaming. He disappears from the cams so that all of the focus can be on the dual whining of Aaryn/Kaitlin (cam 1, 2), and Helen (cam 3,4). Seriously, her non-stop pontificating is getting old.

Jeremy then heads outside to work out, and wanders back into the bathroom area as McCrae. “Your husband is a pussy”, he says under his breath. With the mic off, he continues to bitch about various people to Aaryn, who is lounging on the bathroom bench. He jumps in the shower as Kaitlin joins them to gossip some more.

He disappears from the cams for a couple of hours, and then is surprisingly seen sitting outside with Andy! It’s the usual silly Andy chat about nothing, but Jeremy says he’s hoping for special moneyprize comp before his eviction. Good luck with that one. Luckily for us feedwatchers, this doesn’t last long. Again, though, they can hear Helen (and GinaMarie) screaming from the HOH room.

He heads back into the bathroom area to make more small talk with Judd and others before wandering around the house. Back outside, he munches on snacks with Judd and McCrae. It’s again meaningless, but McCrae makes a joke that Jeremy should campaign to get GinaMarie put up so that she can be reunited with Nick.

After a bit, he gets up and wanders around some more before jumping in the pool with Aaryn. Kaitlin joins them, and as usual she wraps herself around him. GinaMarie joins them, and is still babbling about Nick. Apparently, all of the little knick knacks she’s been finding that belong to him was left there on purpose for her to cherish!

The lovebirds then cuddle on the hammock, and she reports on a conversation she had with Andy about life after Jeremy’s departure. He’s actually a bit reassuring, saying he doesn’t want to leave her. Kaitlin is convinced that they’re making Big Brother history, although she has never seen the show. He teases her that she’ll forget him after he leaves, especially when she moves to Vegas. Her response is that while she was a “11” in Minneapolis, she’ll only be a “4” in Vegas.

Everybody is then called in for photobooth pics, which in my eyes is a big waste of time. He poses with his key, and GinaMarie comes in accompanied by all of Nick’s junk. For Kaitlin’s pic, she sits on Jeremy’s lap with her key in her mouth. Methinks plenty of things have been in that mug.

Picture time over, they move into the kitchen to cook dinner. Scintillating stuff, right? They then plop themselves down on the outdoor couch for more babbling. He does claim that he can give away his “Never Not-Have” pass, but there’s little doubt that’s not the case.

Oh wait, I didn’t catch this the first time around. They were talking about the flies hovering around them, and Jeremy said, “I’m African. We’re used to it.” There was more talk about African tribes, which led Andy and Howard to get up and leave. (Not the most offensive thing said in the last three weeks, but probably not smart after all of the controversies.)

They move into the bedroom, and Jeremy is horny. He’s pretty much attacking her, even as she wants to go through her clothes. Jeremy wants to go shirtless for his eviction show. Kaitlin doesn’t think that’s a great idea. Ugh, I just can’t carry on with this part of the day.

It was time for the CBS broadcast, so I focused my attention on that for the next hour. A quick replay found that Jeremy and Kaitlin spent that hour playing around with each other. The only thing said of consequence was Jeremy’s story about walking into a Wal-Mart and stealing a cart full of goods. Classy. When the network show was over, they were playing pool...and groping each other between shots. Kaitlin eventually heads inside to get a pep talk...I mean threat from Helen, and Jeremy continues to play pool and air box.

With outside fun over, they now crawl into bed and start making out. They go back to their main topic of Kaitlin whining about being the person responsible for Jeremy’s upcoming eviction. Jeremy would rather keep making out, and to ensure this happens says he will be waiting for her at the finale. I hope you don’t mind that I zoned out as they did nothing but tell each other how great they are, and how CBS clearly thinks they’re awesome. Won’t they be surprised when they’re out of the house? Oh, one more tidbit - Jeremy wants the two of them to get matching tats.

Amanda eventually comes into the room to fold laundry, leading to some awkward but harmless banter back and forth. “Jeremy is like an everlasting bacteria” she says. “You just can’t get rid of him.” He tries on one of McCrae’s sleeveless shirts “for eviction day”, but it obviously doesn’t fit. Jeremy leaves the room, and Amanda gives Kaitlin a pep talk similar to what others have been telling her all day.

During his time off camera, for some reason (i.e. attention) Jeremy dressed up as a baby. Fitting, actually. It must have something to do with the trashy dress up party that’s going on in the HOH, but all I can do is shrug about what NerdHerd 2.0 does. It then becomes the Aaryn and Andy story time as they wait for the fashion show. It finally happened, and it was as awful as I predicted.

Strangely, Jeremy and Amanda concocted a fake story that they were actually brother and sister, and if they made it to week four they would get $25,000. Most people just ignored them, but there was still some talk afterwards.

After a long, lazy day, we finally get some action around 9:24 PM. Still dressed in his baby costume, Jeremy sat down with McCrae and Amanda to plead to keep him. He’ll do whatever it takes to stay, including nominating their picks for them when he inevitably wins HOH next week. “You know, my people, we are champions. I can promise I’ll never put you up.” For some reason, he does a handstand across the yard to entice them. It does him no good, though.

The rest of the night is pretty uneventful. Kaitlin had a private chat with Howard, which set off red flags for Aaryn and Jeremy. Judd also gets an earful. Even Andy gets a taste of Jeremy’s whining, which is good for a change of pace, but it also really goes nowhere. The night ends with group chats about nothing, and lots more making out with Kaitlin.

That’s it for a long, long day not only for Jeremy but for me. What did you think of this writeup? Are  you ready for Jeremy to hit the road? Tell us your thoughts!

Why I'm Always Torn With Big Brother

Hi there, remember me?

I've been tweeting a ton and writing very little and for that my apologies to Scott and Ash who have been carrying the load here, along withe our friends that drop in from time to time.

For me the season so far has been extremely exciting and yet this morning I woke up to find out that (as of this instant as I write this and it may change any second) McCrae has decided to dump his alliance of movers and is full on with Amanda in working to keep Elissa.  Not what I had expected to say the least.

The logic for McCrae is still smart as it was the first week - keep the sure thing in the house and you are guarenteed NOT to get nominated by her and she will in theory put up at least one person you are willing to vote out.

My issue is just the 'unfair' advantage this is giving Elissa. I don't care that she is Rachel's sister, that is no reason to give her any advantage.  Willy Hanz didn't get special treatment from Big Brother for being Russel's brother and Bandon's uncle - and believe it or not Russel Hantz is a bit more well known that Rachel in the Reality TV world.

It's apparent to me that the reason the MVP was created this season was to help Elissa in her quest to stay in the house, as this is something the producers would like since for some crazy reason the people that watch Big Brother on television loooooved Rachel in Big Brother 13.

So far Elissa really had not done anything in the house other than to nominate David (voted out), Jeremy (saved himself with POV) and now Nick.  Guess who is most likely going hom tonight when all signs had pointed to Elissa up to 18 hours ago?  Oh I've already told you that McCrae is jumping ship to continue riding the Elissa MVP train thus sealing Nick's fate.

In the long run I'll be ok.  That is as long as Elissa eventually either steps up her game big time and starts to play, or gets voted out along with any other non-factor players (which Nick has actually kinda been so far but he had potential).

As much as I am miffed at what I perceived as a produced elimination of Nick tonight, the drama it will cause is going to be monumental.  Jeremy has been warned by Spencer and Howard that things are going on - yet he seems confident that no one is messing with his Moving Crew and at this rate he will blindly walk into the buzz saw that is Amanda.  Yes - it is Amanda that is orchestrating this - Helen may have started the ball rolling but Amanda took charge yesterday and gave it the kick it needed to get over the hump.

Thats whats tearing me up - the production created drama will keep me from being too digusted - and most of the TV viewing audience will be suckered into thinking it all just happened that way and somehow Elissa was the mastermind of it all.

So sit back and enjoy the show tonight and the live feeds after, it will be the highlight of the season so far and not something to miss.

No matter who wins HoH, Elissa will again be MVP (Should be Amanda if this happens) and so will yet again have the ability to choose someone to go up - and possibly out - next Thursday.  After tonight she will be 2 for 2 in MVP noms going home.  Kinda makes you feel like the HoH isn't much more than an immunity idol so far this season eh?

A Day In The Life Of: David

Today’s person of choice is America’s favorite surfer dude. A man who somehow has shown himself to the Big Brother powers as a physical threat who should be eliminated as soon as possible. A man who is in love with the Queen of the Aryan nation.

Most importantly, he’s a man who is oblivious to what is going on around him. He’s not fazed by going up as a replacement nominee. It’s all cool, dude. As long as he gets some sun, a nap or two, and a cute little blonde hanging onto him, everything is alright.

This particular day isn’t much different from most. He’s one of the last to rise, and does very little once he does wake up. He plops himself down on the living room couch, and has a chat with Andy. Or, to be quite honest, Andy does the talking. Its rare that you get a word in once he gets going, but David does query him on when he came out to his parents.

He then disappears for awhile again, but is then seen outside laying out by the pool with his boo. Let’s be real. As cute as she is, and even forgetting her non-PC comments, Aaryn is a needy little twit. She rambles on and on about nothing and everything. She has plans to move to L.A., or New York (with GinaMarie), or maybe even somewhere with him. She golfed once, and was great. She’s sick of school. It just goes on and on.

David is her perfect foil. He just smiles, nods his head, holds her hand, and occasionally says things like “you are the smartest, wittiest, most beautiful girl in Big Brother history”. He’s clearly desperate to get that dick wet.

After another period where he’s not found on the cams, until he’s again found with his lady friend. Kaitlin is cleaning the shower, and Aaryn bitches about how her sheets are dirty and that David hasn’t showered in two days. He’s a bit offended. “I do shower...after comps!”

The topic of dirt carries on for awhile longer, as they head into the bedroom. David’s clothes are piled all over the floor, as is their other meathead roommate, Jeremy. Once again, it’s not his fault. “Black Candice”, after all, has slept on those sheets, which brings on this comment from Aaryn - “at least it wasn’t Asian eyes”. Oh dear.

David is again a non-factor in the early evening. He’s seen tossing a sandbag for a bit, and is then again lying around the pool area with Nick and Jeremy. Yes, we have another non-PC event, as Jeremy goes on a long diatribe about the oral sex skills of redheads, brunettes, Asians, and African-Americans. Yes, this is a good crew.

Then something shocking happens. At approximately 6:45 PM Big Brother time, David is seen in the shower! His Aryan girl looks on in glee, and even gives him a kiss after it’s over. No tongue, though, as she won’t do that on camera. As his lady friend takes his place under the water, David wanders around the house before eating a bit of GinaMarie’s pizza. As more people join the kitchen crew, David is again a silent force as Jeremy decides to evaluate all of the women in the house.

The rest of the evening isn’t more scintillating. He sits with a group for awhile, and offers little to the conversation, and then moves on to another. Most of the time is spent with his girl, Jeremy and Kaitlin, and one might as well just watch on mute. This is particularly true when the foursome play pool, as that has NEVER been a great Big Brother cam to watch.

As we head into the late night portion of this report, I suggest you scroll down to Ash’s post. A lot of crap went down during the evening, most of it revolving around Aryan Girl and Jeremy. There’s a fight here, a fight there, a fight everywhere. What is amazing is that David is around during all of this yet has almost nothing to do with any of it! Even when talk comes that Jeremy’s actions may get David evicted, it’s like he’s not there! It is really an amazing job this guy does in always being an extra in his own play.

Yet, it is quite interesting that I’ve now done profiles on three different people that have all been on the block yet have done nothing to further their place in the house. David has done nothing to ensure his safety. I realize he thinks he’s safe because he’s been told Elissa is the target, but shouldn’t he be finding out if that indeed is the case? And how upset is he going to be when he finds out that his pal Jeremy is actually aware of the plan to save Elissa?

While I sort of shook my head when I first heard about the plot to save Elissa over David, I’m now kind of understanding. It is a bit of a wasted eviction, but if he’s not even going to really play the game, why not just send him packing? And maybe next week, his KKK-loving girl will join him on the beach.

The Night Owl

Well, the shit hit the fan in the BB house tonight!  First there was some game talk so I will get that little tidbit out of the way first.

The Moving Company had several meetings of the minds both in the HOH and the Hammock to discuss the plan, make sure it was still on, and discuss who they would like to see go next.  They ultimately came to the conclusion that it doesn't matter who goes next as long as it isn't one of them.  My personal favorite part of these conversations was Nick talking about the insanity (while making wrist slashing motions) of having to "hang out and listen to GinaMarie's garbage pail mouth and put up with Aaryn's stupid bullshit" while pretending to be in the BlondeTourage.

BUT THEN THEY GOT ALCOHOL!!!

Okay, lots and lots happened and if you have the feeds and want to see it you should flashback to around midnight BB time when the Have Nots went off food restriction. (did I mention the have nots were allowed to eat and drink?)

Before midnight, Jeremy decided that he would steal the entire bottle of red wine that Elissa had been looking forward to and drink it all himself..sharing only a little with Aaryn.  He got pretty buzzed and then went out to the hot tub with Aaryn while the have nots had their "yay we can eat" party.  Well, Aaryn decided that it just wouldn't be any fun for everyone else to be having a good time and decided to get up on her mean girl high horse and tell Jeremy how everyone was "mean mugging" her as if she stole the wine.  In reality no one was looking at Aaryn at all and the only thing said about the wine up to that point was Elissa saying "where is the red. I've been a have not and I wanted some. That sucks.".  She didn't say it to anyone in particular though.

After Aaryn got Jeremy all riled up about them getting "mean mugged", Jeremy decided to go into the kitchen in the middle of the party and start yelling at people.  He said a whole bunch of things that didn't make sense along the lines of "go ahead, put me up. I came here to win and it was all me. Ya'll can just be mad at me" etc..   At some point he yelled specifically at Helen and she started to cry and got really upset about it.

He also yelled either at or about Amanda? It's hard to keep up with.  Anyway, he then went out to the hot tub. Judd followed and said something along the lines of "I'm just happy to be able to eat"  to which Aaryn replied "you don't need to get all snappy with ME Judd. I've had your back this whole time!".  WHAT?!

Then Amanda decided she had to get her 2 cents back in at Jeremy and came out to the hot tub and started yelling at him about how she didn't say anything about the wine except to "check people's teeth if they wanted to know who drank it."  So Jeremy vs Amanda commenced and they yelled for a while and Amanda cried.  She eventually went inside.

Meanwhile, Kaitlin who had been hiding in the back bedroom decided that she was mad enough to need to call Jeremy inside so that she could confront him, but on her way through the kitchen, Elissa decided to yell at Kaitlin, but that tiff only lasted for less than five minutes and then Kaitlin began beckoning Jeremy to come inside so she could have a  piece of the action.  Jeremy however was not ready to come inside since he was busy fighting with Andy at the hot tub!!

Eventually Jeremy came inside and Kaitlin told him how stupid he was being and told him that he was going to get David sent home etc.. etc.. and he asked her if she was breaking up with him and wanted her ring back. She said "I'm not saying anything like that." and eventually went outside.

Candice, not to be left out of the action, came in to defend Elissa and Helen to Jeremy but was only able to do so for a moment before Aaryn decided that this battle better turn into a hat issue again and SHE began fighting with Candice.  That fight died down for a little while...long enough for Gina Marie to convince Jeremy that he needed to apologize to the still sobbing Helen.  So off he went to apologize to Helen.

Aaryn, was not to be shaken though and continued to fight with Candice while Jeremy apologized to Helen.  Candice then came with my favorite line by far of the whole fight: "I ain't afraid of you, boo thing.".

Eventually, Judd, McCrae, Amanda, and Andy made it up to the HOH room and started talking about how Aaryn MUST go because she is the starter of all of the shit.

All of these fights and discussions went on for a pretty long time and it would be impossible for me to include everything that happened here.  I hope you guys have flashback.  All I can do now is let a stream of pictures speak for themselves.

Oh, on the smarter side of the house, Howard was nowhere to be seen or heard during all of this and stayed away from the Drama.  Nick was in the room, but as usual had on his "completely no reaction" face the entire time.

So here you go...the fight in pictures:

 Aaryn drinking and shit talking

Jeremy with stolen wine

Amanda vs Jeremy

A lot of people fighting

Kaitlin vs Jeremy

Candice vs the room/hat

Andy vs the room

Helen after the fact

Aaryn still being a bitch vs Candice part 2

Apologies and Aaryn still fighting

Completely unaffected

Well..unaffected until the meeting with McCrae and realization that the house was turning on itself as planned.

You guys!! This is amazing drama that happened before BB would usually even start.  What an exciting night.  If you don't have the feeds you really should consider them. It's only going to get more volatile.  I'm spent for tonight and they haven't even headed to bed yet.  Until tomorrow night... (unless they get into it again in which case you will get a follow up.)

Scott's Initial Impressions - Jeremy

Jeremy McGuire, 23

Hometown: Katy, Texas

Current City: Katy, Texas

Boat Shop Associate

Although I’ve been pretty critical of recent seasons of Big Brother, I have been thankful that Grodner’s dirty parts don’t get crispy over “bro’s”. Sure, there were some people that thought of themselves as bro’s, but for the most part it was only in their mind. Sorry, Enzo, you weren’t a bro. You were a dope.

This year, I sense a change. Maybe Ms. Kassting has more to do with who we’re seeing. She’s a known UFC groupie, and if there is one “sport” that attracts bro’s, it’s that garbage.

What is a bro, you ask? First off, you have to be a douchebag that rarely wears shirts. And if you do, they are those godawful super-tight Ed Hardy shirts. Let’s go a step farther. Bro’s are the male equivalent of a “whoo-hoo” girl. They have the worst taste in everything – music, movies, pop culture. They admire the Kardashians, even the ugly one. They collect every John Mayer album, except for the blues ones. They believe they’re artsy because they once went to a Phish show.

Jeremy is a bro. Jeremy is a moron.

Jeremy is unemployed, and is “single ready to mingle”. Yes, that was one of his first sentences in the video. “I am planning on a showmance.” That’s his gameplan. Find a slut, hook up with her, and he’ll be on his way to the end. Gross.

The sad thing is that it may work. This is the kind of jackass I’d love to see eliminated the first week, but he probably will hook up with one of the bimbos and last for quite some time. It sickens me to type this, but he probably will be a part of the final five whose ultimate departure will probably occur during a double eviction night.
