The man is desperate to save himself from nomination (and who can blame him). Yes, he's spent a lot of time trying to talk Keesha out of putting Angie on the block, but he's seen that's impossible. After the food competition, he made his way back up to HOH, and informed her that Angie had said she would have nominated April and Libra if she had won HOH. Keesha agreed, though, that it makes sense that she would go after the women that were going after her.
After more meaningless chitchat, Keesha just told him she won't nominate him if he would promise not to use the POV to save her. He quickly agreed. A few minutes later, she asked if he would vote to evict her. The answer is yes because he "doesn't want to pull the trigger so early in the game".
The feeds are now showing the fish, but a few minutes ago the hamsters were called together to wait for what is probably the food competition. They're hoping, of course, that it's a luxury comp. I hope to God that slop is involved, and Queen Libra once again finds herself on the losing side without either Renny or Jerry, just so we can see who she blames this week.
It's funny how the people complaining about Angie staying away from the group (Keesha, Libra) are the only two people not gathered in the living room.
Talk about Steven being gay leads to whether any of them could be with a woman. Despite being extremely horny because her period's about to start, Keesha says she can't imagine doing what guys do to other women. Renny doesn't understand, so Keesha has to come right out and say "going down". All three agree that's gross.
Keesha has made out with chicks, though. When asked by Renny if that was to see if she liked it, Keesha's response was she did it to try to impress some guys. Yeah, she's one of those girls.
Steven is using the fallout of the Libra/Jerry fight to stay in the house. Keesha, April, and Ollie admit (at least to him) that they're sick of Libra's constantly changing stories, and the drama that she consistently creates. "And thats what you want to keep in the house? Of all the people in this house you want to get rid of me. Get her out. I don't cause drama. If anything he makes the house more fun. Do you think you can trust someone that tells everyone that they talk to a different story?"
One of the worst reality show cliches is the false outrage that occurs when people continue to be friendly with those that have been determined to be "outcasts". Libra is easily the worst offender, with April right behind her.
Libra is growing increasingly angry that Keesha is now starting to spend time with the outsiders (Angie, Steven, Dan, etc.), and has been pissed from day one that Angie does the same. Yes, Angie has played a terrible game by not mingling more, but she has done what the Queens have desired. It's not enough, though, as Libra has complained all day that she can't get why she won't separate from the people they want them to.
Here's another example. A few minutes ago, Steven was complaining to Libra about how he did exactly what he was told to do and vote to evict Brian, yet found himself nominated. Libra's response? "You voted him out, but you voted by hanging out with them." Steven said that was friendship, not game, but "perception is everything". Ugh.
As I write this, Jerry just came into the room to announce it's time for the veto competition.
Jerry had a bit of a heart to heart with Angie and told her she really needed to start playing the game and stop being so passive. I couldn't agree more. She will be a no-guilt vote out by her fellow house guests the way she has been acting. She even has said to some that if/when she is nominated she will not campaign to stay. How the heck did she get put in this house with that attitude?
Keesha expressed to Libra last night that she doesn't want Steven to be voted out - I would look for her to campaign for him to stay - and if she wins the POV she might just use it to keep him from leaving.
I am really hoping that some of this gets some actual campaigning and conflict in the house, things have just been too easy and quiet this first week. Maybe it is just me. Another part of me feels that this Spring's BB is too fresh and is hurting interest in BB10.
