New Alliance - Too Little Too Late?

Around midnight last night, Lydia was kicked out of the HOH so the Athletes could have a meeting. Of course, Jeff was not invited into this conversation.

Kevin and Lydia then had a lengthy conversation with Jeff and Jordan. Although they denied knowing that Casey was going to be put up, they seem to finally realize that they're just being used by Jessie and Natalie to get info on the rest of the house. "We can't let an 18 year-old run us", Lydia said.

They also caught Ronnie and Michelle whispering, and have decided they can't trust either of them. Well, they knew they can't trust Ronnie, but they now realize Michelle is playing both sides.

The conversation ends with a pinkie swear to not put each other up.

Hot, Boring Day

Not much of consequence has happened. It's an extremely warm day, so most people aren't even laying out as normal (although Lydia and Russell are right now). There's also been very little game talk, although Casey had some words of advice for Kevin. He warned him that too many people are way too open about every conversation they have (he couldn't be more true). There are tentative plans for the "off-beats" to align themselves with the athletes, which is not a bad plan.

People are starting to see through Ronnie. Casey in particular has singled him out as a guy who goes through the day asking everybody questions. Somehow, he also believes the same about Michelle. Lydia is now pointing out the exact same point.

Jordan continues to flirt with anybody who will give her attention, while Laura claims that her boyfriend is a taller version of Jesse. Chima just cackles all day, and whines about the conditions she's used to living.

Lydia Versus Braden!

A huge fight occurred a few minutes ago completely out of the blue. Lydia was telling Kevin a traumatic story from her past, and suddenly Braden sat down next to them to thank her for orchestrating his departure. Lydia went ballistic, and when Kevin jumped to her defense Braden called him a "beaner". The situation escalated, and now has moved into a kitchen fight between Jeff and Lydia because it's all Jeff's fault that Lydia was nominated (not true, btw). Kevin keeps going on about how Jeff shouldn't align himself with a "gringo bigot". Oh, and Lydia also screamed at Jordan for a few seconds. This could be a fun day after all.

Edit: Braden told Jeff ahead of time that he was going to start this encounter. Here's some of what was said:

Braden Thanks for getting me put up on the block. Go get more tattoos! Get one on your leg that says Week 2, cause that's when you're going out.
Kevin: It was actually my idea to put you up.
Braden: That's fine. Why don't you stick a banana up your ass?
Kevin: You're full of fuckin' shit!
Braden: What do you know? You're a mexican from San Diego. You're a fuckin' beaner!
Lydia: WHAT?!? Do not even disrespect a certain culture that way

Snoozefest

It's a pretty boring night. A bunch of people are outside bitching about the other people that are inside bitching about them. Natalie lets slip that she's applied before, which Kevin jumps on.

Upstairs, Lydia is complaining to Jordan that Chima is using some story about being raped as an excuse to stay. She's also lying about her knowledge of Russell using the veto.
