Guide to the #BB15 Season Finale

Big Brother still drives me bat sh!t crazy.

When I joined all of you in this ridiculous obsession, it was Week 4, Judd was HOH, Aaryn was hated by everybody, Elissa had been MVP for weeks, America had been given new power, GinaMarie wasn't mean yet, a showmance had already started and ended (with David's eviction), and Helen was on her way to becoming my favorite house guest of all time.

Going to this screen has become automatic during free moments.See what I did there? "Of all time"?! That's just to poke fun at those of you who have turned Big Brother into something of a religion -- with all the nonsense which comes along with blind devotion. This is a game! Let's not forget that it is meant as entertainment. All the fighting and mud-slinging amongst fans who are active in social media drives me batty. Was it this way in BB's early years? Or is it more prevalent today because more people are active on the Internet and because divisiveness and incivility is the norm in our country these days?

Playing cards 24 hours before the season finale. That said, I'm pleased to report that there have been far more people posting respectful, thoughtful commentary here on BigBrotherGossip.com, even when in disagreement with me or other contributors or other commenters, than there were people who were simply inarguably crazy or idiotic. I applaud you for being fans without being fanatical.

I asked a lot of questions in my first post here. For example:

Can viewers influence what happens in the house? What's a lockdown? How and when do supplies (groceries, meds, booze, etc.) appear in the house? What are they allowed to ask producers for, and how often? When, how, and why do they get punished?

Although I didn't post answers to all those questions, you (and Ash, Scott, and Mike) helped me understand how Big Brother works. Mostly. As to remaining details for newbies like me ... we'll cover such things if/when they come up during #BB16.

GinaMarie, Andy, and Spencer, doing that ridiculous "exterminator" thing. So ... Andy, GinaMarie, and Spencer have made it to the final three. The #BB15 season finale airs in the east about 20 hours from when I'm posting this -- and don't forget that it's 90 minutes long and that it starts at a special time (9:30p Eastern on Wednesday, September 18, 2013). Here's the order of events we are expecting for tonight's show:

- Julie's brief show intro.

- A couple minutes of clips from the entire season.

Reading cereal boxes together. Yes, friends, this is the excitement live feeders get during these remaining few days.- Julie talks about what's coming up during the 90-minute finale while they show the final three sitting in the living room. Just like #BB14 (with Danielle, Ian, and Dan), #BB15's final three consist of one woman (GinaMarie) and two men (Andy and Spencer).

- The conclusion of Part 1 of the three-part final Head of Household competition (recorded last Thursday night, with portions shown to live feeders, and a bit shown on CBS this past Sunday night), with related clips and Diary Rooms. You know from our Ticker and from being a regular BigBrotherGossip.com reader that GinaMarie won part 1. This was an endurance comp.

Part 1 of the final HOH competition.- Part 2 of the HOH comp (recorded last Saturday), again with clips and DRs. We know that Andy won part 2, but we haven't seen any footage of this comp yet. The feeds were on trivia and CBS didn't show any of it during the final Sunday broadcast.

Spencer, please work on your level of control for endurance comps first if they ever ask you back for an All Stars season, k? Thanks.- Clips from the past few days of the three house guests posturing and/or scheming about who will be taking whom to the final two.

- Jury house footage showing McCrae's arrival ... and a few minutes of the jurors debating the merits of the final three -- how they betrayed various jury members, why they may or may not be worthy of their votes, etc.

- Live (everything is live from this point on), we will see part 3 of the HOH comp between GinaMarie and Andy. It will be a memory quiz of some sort, and the winner is guaranteed at least second place in #BB15 and a $50,000 prize.

- The HOH winner will evict one of the other two. The only thing we know right now is that Spencer has no control over his own destiny.

- The evictee leaves the house and is interviewed by Julie.

- Julie introduces each of the jurors as they reenter the studio. After a couple of questions to the jurors, Julie reveals the last evictee.

- The jurors interview the final two.

Danielle chats with finalists Ian and Dan a year ago in the #BB14 season finale. Right: The voting box.- The finalists each make one last speech about why s/he deserves to win.

- Each juror steps forward to say a word or three to the finalists ... and to cast his/her vote. To vote, the juror inserts one of two keys (each key has a finalist's name on it) into slots in a box (similar to the round gizmo that HOHs use for a nomination ceremony in all the previous weeks).

This has nothing to do with anything today. Except this: If the producers want to do stunt casting next year, I think they should make Zingbot a regular house guest.- House guests evicted early on, prior to jury selection, are welcomed to the studio by Julie and discuss their thoughts on the season. (Remember that HGs who left prior to jury got to watch the show, seeing everything we did; only the jury was sequestered.) And there may be a bit more back-and-forth between the jurors, the final two, and the early evictees.

- Then the big moment arrives: Julie pulls out each key, revealing each juror's vote ... and the #BB15 winner is announced! This year there are nine jurors, so the first finalist to receive five votes wins $500,000.

- The winner comes out of the house and is embraced by family, friends, and fellow house guests. (And the runner-up comes out, too.)

- Finally, Julie reveals America's favorite house guest, winner of $25,000. (Helen, if you ever read this, please know that I voted 10 times for you!) CBS will treat us to a few more seconds of celebration, and credits will roll. That will be it!

I have really enjoyed being part of the BigBrotherGossip team and getting to know many of you via comments and Twitter. Thanks! See you back here in 2014 for #BB16.

This also has nothing to do with anything today. Before signing off, just wanted to make sure you didn't miss this fine bit of Indy Mike's journalism. :-)Who do you think will be richer by 500 Large? If Andy wins HOH, who will he evict? Or who will GinaMarie evict if she gets HOH? What do you think has been the bat-sh!t-craziest thing this season? Tweet me all year long @uselesstraffic and/or comment below.

Big Brother Season 15, Episode 33 Recap

We’re finally hitting the home stretch on the fifteenth season of Big Brother. After tonight, there are only three more episodes, including a highlights/unseen footage episode that I will probably skip.

Funny thing about this portion of the season is that while the feeds have slowed to a crawl (when they’re actually on), the episodes are bound to be relatively fast-paced. Take tonight’s episode. We’re going to have a veto competition, a veto meeting, an eviction, and a new HOH. Tomorrow’s episode will follow that same layout, and it’s likely that at least one of these broadcasts will include some jury house footage.

So let’s get this over with. After an introduction from Julie, we start off with the reactions to Spencer’s nominations of McCrae and GinaMarie. Spencer babbles Exterminator silliness, and how McCrae is the target. McCrae says he’s the “underdog”, because he’s alone, “but that just gives me more fight”.

Unfortunately, McCrae is still tethered to GinaMarie, who leads him into the kitchen so she can loudly blow her nose. Spencer looks on during this silliness, and GinaMarie attempts to explain that she’s playing it up like she’s the target so he doesn’t play hard in the veto comp. The Exterminators really think he’s stupid. He’s not buying any of this silliness. Even Spencer complains that her over-acting is awful.

Spencer is up in the HOH now with Judd and Andy, and again he’s over-analyzing stuff. His nomination speech was to make McCrae think that GinaMarie is going to think she’s safe. Follow that? Andy whines that McCrae can’t win the veto, and Judd asks what the plan is if he does win. Spencer tells him that it will be him going up, and that GinaMarie will then go. Judd is not happy that Andy is not even a part of the conversation. “Maybe I’m the lowest guy on the totem pole in this.”

More filler, as Judd has to do more exercises. In fact, he has to do 75 situps this time, which is more than the usual nonsense he’s had to do. This is his last punishment, though. Too bad that GinaMarie and McCrae aren’t done with theirs, as we get more footage of their tethering gimmick. I think the audience is the people that are truly punished. Finally, they get to snap that cord off them.

McCrae then heads up to the HOH so that Spencer can try again to make him feel like he’s safe. Spencer throws in his bullshit about how his speech was silly, intended to make GinaMarie feel safe. There is one other element to this chat, though, as Spencer explains that if McCrae does win veto they will then have to work with him a bit. They inform him that if McCrae goes down, Judd will go up and out. McCrae admits in the diary room that despite what they’re saying, he does have to win the veto.

After commercials, it’s time for the veto competition. They’re all dressed as superheroes, and the set is a miniaturized city. GinaMarie overacts as she describes BB14’s Ian dropping from the sky. Oh, if only he was really dropped...on his head. “It’s weird being back here”, he pretends to whisper before reading the instructions. They have to “fly” back and forth between two platforms, and they have twenty seconds between each flight to put together a magnetized veto puzzle. If they don’t go back within twenty seconds, the magnet is turned off and the puzzle drops.

The usual “I have to win/they can’t win” interviews are aired, and the comp starts. Judd has problems, and gets frustrated. McCrae gets his puzzle finished, but screws up “flying” back. His puzzle then drops, and he has to start over. Judd then decides to just quit and helps Andy, which pisses off Spencer. Andy and McCrae are neck and neck, but McCrae gets a piece wrong. He flies back, makes a quick change, and ends up winning! The Exterminators are not happy! Spencer is not happy with Judd!

Once we burn through another set of adverts, it’s time for the aftermath. GinaMarie is talking to Spencer, and she’s worried. Spencer tells her that he wants her to stay, and that he trusts her more than him. He’s especially pissed that Judd quit the veto comp after only five minutes or so. This also pisses off GinaMarie.

Judd is the next to talk to Spencer, and he tells Spencer that he’ll be another strong person to fight against McCrae. Spencer tells him that he wants him to stay, but that there’s no way he’ll consider putting up Andy. This pisses off Judd, especially since Andy nominated Spencer a couple of weeks ago. Judd storms out, saying it’s time for him to “raise hell”. He starts knocking over stuff, and storms around the house flipping off the cameras. Actually, this is kind of mild compared to what was shown on the feeds.

It’s now time for the veto ceremony. I still don’t understand why they have to go through the stock footage of staring at the wall of photos when it’s obvious that McCrae is taking himself down. Yes, that’s what he does, and then Spencer gets up to nominate Judd.

Before the veto meeting can be adjourned, though, Judd announces that he has something to say. He addresses McCrae, saying that while he was one of his biggest allies he was also “the root of why I left. Coming back into this game, I was after...and, you know, I’m still after you.” Spencer says in the diary room that this was an idiotic move, and Judd finishes by saying that if they keep him he will still be after McCrae. Even GinaMarie laughs at what he did, as that’s one guaranteed vote for her to stay.

Guess what? It’s now eviction time! GinaMarie has the first plea, and after telling Julie that she’s beautiful, she also thanks her friends and family. She then calls the housemates her family, and repeats a couple of times that she “always tries my best”. Judd also thanks his family and friends, and he again promises that he’ll go after McCrae if he stays.

Andy is the first to vote, and he votes to evict Judd, as does McCrae. Judd is the next to be evicted...again! Judd hugs GinaMarie, and then whispers to McCrae that he left something for him in the Bible. As he walks out, he yells out he’s going to vote for Spencer or Andy in the end.

Julie immediately asks Judd about what he whispered to McCrae, and Judd claims that it was a non-game message to encourage him. He claims that his parting message to vote for Andy or Spencer was “reverse psychology”. He wants them to think he’ll be pushing the jury to vote for them, but he really wants GinaMarie to win. “I really underestimated her. We all did.”

He’s then asked about the Exterminators, and why he turned his back on Elissa. He doesn’t regret turning his back on her. “Working with Elissa is the hardest thing you can do. Her mind changes every five minutes. You can be on her side one minute, and then you’re her target the next.” (That was probably the best analysis of Elissa all season.)

When asked why GinaMarie was saved over him, Judd says that one of the reasons is that she’s really hurt. They also “trust her a little bit more than me”. He also admits that’s probably wise.

The goodbye messages then end the segment. GinaMarie’s is nice, and Spencer tries to say that he hopes that he’s not seeing it. McCrae apologizes for not voting for him, and that he wanted to, but his hands are tied because Spencer and Andy wanted him out. Andy is tearful, going on and on about how they’ve become such best friends. Even Judd laughs at this move. What a bad actor!

We’re almost finished so it’s time for the HOH competition. It’s the annual before or after competition, where Julie reads an event. Then they have to pick whether it was before or after the second event she reads.

They’re all correct on the first question, but GinaMarie takes the lead on the second question. All three are correct on the third question, as they are on the fourth and fifth ones. McCrae is the only one to get the sixth question correct, while Andy is the only one to get the final question. There’s now a three-way tie, so the final question is the number of seconds the “super veto” competition took. Andy guesses 414, GinaMarie 1800, and McCrae is 2010. Andy is the victor! Interesting, though, as he attempted to change his answer as Julie started to read them off.

So that’s it for tonight! Tomorrow will be another set of nominations, veto nominations, and an eviction. Plus, Julie promised a jury house segment.

What did you think of tonight’s episode? Are you happy or upset that Judd is gone? Or that Andy is the new HOH? Tell us what you think!

33-Hour Blackout

Don't freak out: The #BB15 live feeds may go "dark" (trivia) for about 33 hours beginning 12 noon Eastern / 9:00a Pacific on Tuesday.

Chat rooms will be full of the typical "I'm paying for this! How do I cancel! CBS sucks! #BB15 is the worst season ever!" Indy Mike will be tweeting (@BBGossip) answers to the same questions over and over again until he gets sick of it. But as BigBrotherGossip.com readers, you'll know exactly what's going on:

Starting Tuesday morning/afternoon, house guests will be doing an early eviction (going from five remaining house guests to four) and then doing the next Head of Household competition and nomination ceremony. This will air on Wednesday night's CBS broadcast.

And then, around 9:00p Eastern / 6:00p Pacific on Wednesday evening, the feeds will go live again.

Full details about the possible order of events for viewers and house guests are in our Guide to the Last 12 Days.

CBS will try to keep the events of Tuesday/Wednesday secret until the Wednesday show airs ... but I'm told that audience members usually leak who is evicted (which will be GinaMarie or possibly Judd, even though Spencer apparently thinks nobody can beat Andy if he makes final two?) and who wins the next HOH comp. If we catch wind of the rumors and deem the info to be reliable, watch this space for a post and/or an update to the Ticker graphic at right.

Tuesday/Wednesday, we'll either get an extra-large serving of fish (left) or, more likely, trivia.McCrae will save himself again later today in the POV ceremony. Spencer has been saying he thinks nobody can beat Andy, yet apparently he's considering putting up Judd as replacement nominee anyway? Makes no sense to me, but it wouldn't be the first time that an understanding of game strategy has evaded this newbie. Who do you think will go? Who will the next HOH put on the block? Post a comment below or tweet @uselesstraffic.

Guide to the Last 12 Days

Who won HOH for the first time but won't get to enjoy it for a full week? That's right: Spencer. There remain five house guests now but it needs to be down to three by Thursday. Here's how #BB15's remaining 12 days might go.

First, the house guests (and live feed subscribers) will experience it this way. I'll give each set of events a number for easy reference:

1. Friday, September 6, 2013 (today): Spencer nominates two house guests for eviction.

2. Saturday, September 7: Power of Veto competition.

3. Monday, September 9: POV ceremony.

And then there were five. The four "Exterminator" alliance members are Judd, Spencer, Andy, and GinaMarie. The fifth remaining house guest is McCrae, on his own without Amanda.4. Tuesday, September 10: Live feeders, be ready for what could be a whole day's worth of trivia! The eviction vote and the next Head of Household competition will happen some time on Tuesday -- all in a "live to tape" situation which will be the content of Wednesday night's CBS episode. This gets us from five to four remaining house guests. (My guess is that McCrae will rejoin Amanda to serve on the jury -- but will their showmance be rekindled? Doubt it.)

Spencer won HOH. And he's never smiled as often during any one-hour period as he did last night.5. Wednesday, September 11 and/or Thursday, September 12: Nomination ceremony plus POV comp and ceremony. This is the last and most important POV of the year, as the veto winner is guaranteed a spot in the final three ... and will (possibly) cast the only eviction vote. Live feeders: The blackout might continue from the previous day through 9:00p Eastern.

Last year in #BB14 (I've found the pattern for this year's episodes often matches last year's), Danielle was HOH and put Ian and Dan on the block. Danielle then won veto and used it to save Dan, so Shane was the only possible replacement. This handed the sole eviction vote to Dan (because Danielle, as HOH, couldn't vote, and Dan was the only remaining non-nominee) ... who blindsided Shane, and put in place a final three of Danielle, Dan, and Ian. If Danielle had not used the veto, Shane would have cast the sole eviction vote.

Back to #BB15 ... and assuming all "The Exterminators" make it to the final four, I'm guessing GinaMarie will need to be HOH again or win POV to survive ... unless the others wise up and recognize Andy might actually need to go first, in which case he'd better start winning comps again.

6. Thursday, September 12: The last Thursday show of the season, with a live eviction. (This was when Dan cast the sole vote to evict Shane last year.) Now we're at three house guests, so they will begin an endurance comp -- the first of three parts in the final HOH competition. The winner of the first part gets to skip the second.

7. Friday, September 13: Second part of the final HOH comp. The players are the two house guests who lost the first part.

8. Wednesday, September 18: During the live finale, the winners of parts one and two play the third part of the final HOH comp. So, remember, after this last comp, we have three house guests: The HOH winner and the other two. The very next thing to happen is that the HOH will evict one of those two others; there's nobody else left to hold a vote, so the HOH will make the decision unilaterally. That gets us to the final two house guests. The jury, which for #BB15 consists of the last nine evicted house guests, returns for (live) interviews and conversations with Julie ... and to pick one of the final two to be this season's winner. First finalist to get five votes wins 500 large.

Nothing happens in the house from Saturday to Tuesday? That's right. Fairly dull for both house guests and live feeders. For those who follow #BB15 only by watching the televised shows on CBS, here's what's left:

McCrae. Prime target?Sunday, September 8, 8:00p Eastern: CBS will show us last night's HOH comp (when Spencer won), Friday's nominations (event #1, above), and Saturday's POV comp (event #2, above).

Wednesday, September 11, 8:00p Eastern: CBS will air #3 and all of #4 as listed above.

Thursday, September 12, 9:00p Eastern (live): CBS will air #5 and the live eviction from #6.

Sunday, September 15, 8:00p Eastern: CBS will air the first part of the HOH comp (from #6, above). This episode will likely contain clips from the entire #BB15 season.

Wednesday, September 18, 9:30p Eastern (live, special time!): The 90-minute finale. CBS will air #7 and everything listed in #8.

Clear as mud? It's likely I munged any number of details, so please remember I'm a newbie and be kind when posting corrections / clarifications in the comments below or @uselesstraffic. And ... who will Spencer target? Who do you think makes it to final three and then final two?

Double Eviction #2 Episode Guide

Double your (dis)pleasure? Amanda and Elissa, the most hated, loved, and/or controversial remaining house guests (each of you likely attaches varying labels to each), might both be leaving tonight.

Here's how things might happen during #BB15's second double eviction episode:

- Recaps.

- The eviction ceremony. GinaMarie, who happened to be HOH back when we headed into #BB15's previous double (putting Candice and Jessie on the block that week), nominated showmance power couple Amanda and McCrae for tonight's eviction in perhaps the biggest move of the season. (Like her as a person or not, and I certainly don't, I give her propz for doing what the previous two HOHs wouldn't.) McCrae won veto to save himself, and GM replaced him with Spencer as a pawn. Despite recent buddying with Elissa and the usual fake assurances from Andy, Amanda should be on her way to the jury house. If there's a 2-2 tie in the voting, GM will evict Amanda.

- Julie interviews the evicted house guest.

Amanda (top left) still thinks she's safe, but GinaMarie (top right) as HOH has conspired to keep her in the dark. Andy & Judd (bottom left) will probably be safe in tonight's double. Elissa must win HOH or POV.- New HOH competition. (As outgoing HOH, GinaMarie must sit this one out.)

- Nomination ceremony of two HGs by the new HOH. If Elissa or McCrae win HOH, she or he will likely nominate the other (plus one of "The Exterminators" alliance: Judd, GinaMarie, Spencer, or Andy).  If neither win HOH, Elissa and McCrae might both go on the block.

- POV competition. We think winning veto will be essential to either Elissa or McCrae.

- POV ceremony. One nominee comes off the block and another one goes up.

- Eviction ceremony #2. If Elissa is still up, current thinking is that she'll be on the way to the jury house.

- Julie interviews the double-evictee.

Next from the Newbie Desk: The next HOH competition might begin before or after tonight's live episode ends -- and it's likely to be a shorter-than-usual reign for this head of household. I'll tell you why in my next post.

Amanda's a goner for sure, but do you agree Elissa is the next most likely to go? If Elissa or McCrae wins HOH, which Exterminator(s) will s/he nominate? Share your thoughts in the comments or tweet @uselesstraffic.

The Night Owl

Well, GinaMarie did it.  Amanda and McCrae were put up on the block together today and the aftermath went just about the way most of us expected it to go.  First Amanda and McCrae ran to their bed to go talk about whose fault it was (Judd and Elissa of course) then Amanda marched to the HOH room.  Upon arriving in the HOH room, Amanda yelled at GinaMarie and told her that they were never coming after her and genuinely wanted to take her to the final four.  Amanda told her over and over and over and over that it didn't make sense to put the two of them up together.  GinaMarie kept her cool and told Amanda that it DID in fact make sense.  She told her they were a power duo and a couple. Two people playing the game together.  She told her she felt that this would make it a more even playing field to separate the two of them so they are not playing for each other. Amanda then told GinaMarie "You just fucked your own game.  You just fucked up! if Spencer or Andy win veto they will take one of us off the block and then whoever the replacement nominee is will go home!"  That sparked a fire in Judd who spoke up and said "So I guess we should all just pack our bags then and push you both to the end?"  Amanda hurled a few more insults and then ran downstairs to the have not room to cry and tell McCrae how she doesn't even want to be there anymore and how she can't live with these people.  She just wants to leave now!  She can't stand the idea of being apart from him (for two weeks).  etc.. etc... etc..

There was some more time spent in bed and then Amanda went off to find Andy in the storage room who she still believes is on her side and will take her off the block if he winse veto.  She started crying and talking about Elissa saying she couldn't stand to spend another week in the house with her "joker face" etc..  and Andy mosty just said "yeah, but don't give her what she wants.  Just try to squash it."  While they were talking, Elissa listened outside the door until Amanda got wise to her listening and tried to bust the door open on her.

Most of the rest of Amanda and McCrae's night was spent not saying anything other than comforting words to each other in their bed.  There was also a lot of laying in silence.  The only thing they did outside of that was go to the bathroom once, eat once, and Amanda went up to the HOH room crying and apologized to Judd, Elissa, Spencer, and GinaMarie saying she knows she is leaving and she loves all of them.  She asked them not to blame her actions on McCrae who so wants to be there.  The two of them still have no idea that McCrae is the target. They just assume that Amanda is the one going home...but really, they just laid in bed all night for the most part.  I was starting to think mirrors  might be needed to check for breath, but in the wee hours of the morning they popped up for a short but relatively normal chat/joke talk with Spencer, Andy, and Judd.

After the storage room event, Andy started to get really spooked about the idea of Elissa sending him out of the house after she started needling him about what he said to Amanda and why.  She acted suspicious and Andy talked to Spencer about it a while later.  He and Spencer agreed that if one of them got HOH they might need to put Elissa up next to one of their own alliance so they could get rid of her first and then just deal with Amanda next.  I'm not sure if Andy is still on that same page though as after some booze later on in the night, he and Elissa had a really long heart to heart and agreed that they totally trust each other.  I am sure he still wants her out, but I'm not sure if he wants her gone next or if his fears were eased.

While McCrae and Amanda laid in bed together, the other HGs drank, played Jenga, ate dinner, and cut up with each other.  They started calling Judd the "Slutty Chicken" because his chicken costume is now so ripped it won't stay on.  They teased GinaMarie about how broken she is now that her toe is broken along with her hurt back and finger.  And the night for the most part was relatively strategy talk free.

There WAS a little bit of gaming for a while between Spencer, Judd, and Andy in the cockpit.  Most of it was just going over what they already have about doing what they need to do in order to win veto and send McCrae  home, but a few new things popped up here and there. They decided that if McCrae or Amanda does win veto and come off the block, it would be a good idea for Spencer to be the replacement nominee so they can just vote out whichever of the two is left up and not piss Elissa off yet.  That way Elissa stays focused on getting out the other member of McCranda instead of getting mad at all of them for putting her up and coming after two members of The Exterminators.

That's pretty much it as far as the game talk went.  Now it's all up to vet and what happens after that.  Part of me kind of hopes that McCrae wins veto so that Amanda goes home instead, but that is from a personal standpoint as I do like McCrae more than her.  From a strategy point of view, it is better for Judd, GinaMarie, Spencer, and Andy to get rid of McCrae and leave Amanda begging to go to jury right after him.  After seeing the way Amanda acted today about the game and her worries about being on the block, I honestly think she may use the veto on McCrae if she wins it.  She is extremely worried about him going to jury first and being there with Jessie and Aaryn.

Either way, even if neither of them wins it, it should be an interesting day.  If Andy somehow accidentally wins it, he knows he is screwed.  He won't be able to use it because of the current alliance he is loyal to, but that could potentially turn Amanda on him and keep her from going after Elissa.  Anyone else who won will likely just be subjected to bartering by Amanda and McCrae to use it, but likely won't.  We shall just have to see how it plays out.  As always, you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight feed updates.  Until tomorrow night...

Countdown to Meltdown

Amanda and McCrae are going on the chopping block soon and they don't even know it's coming.

This afternoon (Friday), Spencer and Andy have been feigning annoyance to Amanda about GinaMarie not being willing to talk with them ... and talking down about Elissa to stay in Amanda's good graces.

Amanda & McCrae mope. GinaMarie preps for her second HOH nomination ceremony.GinaMarie and Elissa have been plotting what could or should happen if the surviving half of McCranda doesn't win the next HOH comp -- while Amanda worries from downstairs what they're talking about.

Of the remaining four players (not counting McCrae), I've been wondering who Amanda could turn to for comfort or potential allegiance in the aftermath of the nominations.

Andy tried to come in while Elissa was talking with GM -- and Elissa asked him to wait outside. Not Judd. Amanda arranged his first eviction and wasn't cheery about his return. And she wants GM to put him up with Elissa.

Not Elissa, who Amanda targetted with her yelling and horn-blowing only days ago and who holds onto remnants of last week's HOH power.

Not Spencer. I could be forgetting (it's still difficult for a newbie to remember who allied with whom over all these weeks) ... but I don't seem to remember Amanda and Spencer having any particular closeness.

Andy? As one of the members of their 3AM alliance, possibly. But Amanda doesn't know that he is conspiring with GinaMarie and the others to get her out.

Friday, 3:05p: "If you put up Elissa and Judd, I will voluntarily go up as a pawn," says Amanda to GM.One thing is certain: The live feeds are going to be very fun to watch after the nomination ceremony tonight!

How big of a meltdown will Amanda have? Is there anything she could say to sway votes her way? Share your thoughts here or @uselesstraffic.

Anybody Who Isn't McCranda

GinaMarie remains mean-spirited and disturbing. But she won HOH again on Thursday evening ... and if she puts Amanda and McCrae on the block, GinaMarie will have earned some respect back from me.

Amanda certainly wasted no time trying to fill GM's head with final four promises, lies of her certainty that Judd had been MVP, and her fervent desire for Elissa and Judd to be nominated for eviction.

Thursday, August 29, 2013, 8:57 PM: Mark this time, #BB15 fans! Is it genuinely the beginning of the end of McCranda?

My personal hope was for anybody who isn't McCrae or Amanda to win HOH, but I was probably wishing for GM be least likely to get the room key. Would she be strong enough to make one of the biggest moves of the season, or would she fear retaliation?

On the other hand, they've done the math: There are only so many weeks left, and during their conversation GM and Amanda talked about how two people are likely to leave next week. (They're right: Julie told viewers #BB15's second double-eviction happens next Thursday night.) Does the coming double affect GM's game play for the week?

Accidental opposites: GM is blonde & wearing pink over black. Amanda is brunette & wearing black over pink.

GM ... Did you really do it? Did you successfully play Amanda? Does she really believe you're gonna do what she wants you to?

For the moment, it looks like she did! The moment she left the room, GM started silently taunting Amanda. And minutes later, GM talked with Andy about nominating McCranda.

We'll see exactly how impressionable GM lets herself be as everybody kisses her ring on Friday ... and then whether she has the guts to go through with nominating Amanda and McCrae later Friday. The other house guests seem to want it.

So now I'm rooting for somebody I don't like at all. That too is part of the game.

Will GM do it? Can Amanda win POV again to save herself? And then who's gonna be the double evictee next week? Let our games begin in the comments or @uselesstraffic.

The Night Owl

The veto ceremony took place today and as expected, Andy was put up on the block after Amanda pulled McCrae down.  Apparently there were some fireworks during the veto ceremony. Amanda used a Rachel line "No one comes between me and my man." *gags*  Elissa then told her something to the effect of "My sister would be ashamed that her words are coming out of your mouth."   Then Amanda said "sit down trash bag."  or something like that.  I'm sure we will see an edited version of it on the Weds show.

After the feeds returned, Amanda and McCrae followed through with the plan to tell Judd that the plan had always been to keep Andy.  Andy played dumb as if he did not know about it, and Judd struck a one week deal (that he later said he did not intend to keep) to not put up McCrae and Amanda if they would give him the same one week safety.   Amanda half heartedly continued to harass Elissa for a little while, but then ultimately gave up and went to bed for a good portion of the day. It's never so pleasant on the feeds as when The Beast is sleeping.

Aaryn at first gave up and told everyone she knew what was going on and she was just going to go out happy, but not more than an hour later she was spreading lies and bullshit as usual and trying to turn Amanda and McCrae on Spencer and Judd, Trying to turn Elissa on everyone, trying to turn GinaMarie on Amanda and McCrae etc.. and so on.   The only one who remotely believed her was of course Amanda who ate up everything Aaryn said about Judd. This means nothing though as she is still not voting Andy out of course.

While Amanda was sleeping, McCrae and Elissa got into a somewhat heated discussion about what was bothering them about each other.  They each had some good points and also some stupid ones.  The end result was basically them being more cordial to each other than before.

At some point during all of this Spencer and Andy made it into the cockpit to talk about how excited they are about their new alliance they formed last night.  For those that don't know, Andy, Judd, Spencer, and GinaMarie formed "The Exterminators" in the wee hours of the morning right after my last blog was posted.  The real question of course is where does Andy and Spencer's loyalty lie.  During this conversation they talked about wanting to go with The Exterminators more than Amanda and McCrae at this point.  They both agreed that Amanda has got to go.  Their plan as of now is to wait and see who gets HOH, and if it's Judd or GinaMarie, help them evict Amanda or McCrae.  If it's McCrae or Amanda, they will wait to see which one of their alliance (most likely Judd) is put up beside Elissa, and they will just vote out Elissa instead.  If either of them (Andy or Spencer) gets it, they will put up Amanda and McCrae with Amanda to go because they both feel like this would be a REALLY big move to have on your final 2 resume. Whether any of this will happen or not, I don't know. It's just what they are saying for now, and to be honest, it makes me SO happy that people are at least talking about getting out Amanda this coming week. More people than just Judd and GinaMarie I mean.

After McCrae talked to Elissa, he went and woke up Amanda to tell her all about their conversation.  Amanda got really mad that he was talking to/being nice to Elissa.  Then she cried of course.  Then she went on a rant about how she isn't playing a social game and just plans to win everything from here on out and that's how she will win the game with McCrae.  I literally laughed out loud at some of the stuff she was saying while crying.

None of this anger lasted that long though as Amanda and Elissa ended up making dinner together, and then much later in the night after some wine they hashed everything out and made theri respective apologies.  I don't think Elissa bought any of it...as she shouldn't, and I doubt Amanda bought any of it either, but there it is.  They said it...oh and Amanda cried.

Outside of all that, most of the night was spent listening to Aaryn campaign to no avail, and just having general chit chat.  Some played pool and some plucked their eyebrows.  Some hung out by the hot tub.  GinaMarie re-did her hair extensions...you get the idea.  It was pretty quiet.

As of now Andy is staying and Aaryn is going home.  I don't really see that changing.  Judd, Spencer, and GinaMarie seem completely solid in their new alliance, and I doubt Amanda or McCrae will try to flip it to keep Aaryn now that Aaryn is trying to turn the house against them and they know it.  Now we just have to wait until Thursday and hope someone gets a bug up their ass and causes some fireworks before then.  I think "Hurricane Poopie" (Aaryn) might have it in her, but we will just have to wait and see.  As always, you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight feed updates.  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

Another crazy day and relatively uneventful night in the BB 15 house.

Judd started out the morning talking to Elissa for a really long time about why he did not want to work with Amanda and McCrae and his feelings on them in general.  He explained to her why he thought that the two of them needed people to work with and could possibly work with Spencer and Andy and GinaMarie so that they are not alone going into this next week etc..   Everything he said made sense and for the most part of the conversation Elissa was cool, but she was of course still adamant about wanting to put up Andy instead of GinaMarie.  Judd told her to do what she wanted to do, but that he just wanted to do what was best for them.  Keep in mind that Judd thinks Amanda and McCrae are voting Andy out and that GinaMarie is the swing vote.

After Judd came downstairs, shit was immediately stirred when Aaryn told Andy that she knew for a fact Judd was upstairs telling Elissa to put him on the block instead of GinaMarie (completely false obviously).  Andy asked Judd about it and told him that he believed him over Aaryn, and judd went off to confront Aaryn.  He basically just called her on her bullshit and then walked away.  I cannot rave enough about how much I love Judd 2.0 that does not give a shit what Aaryn or Amanda think of him.

Things seemed like they might calm down for a little while and I kind of wasn't paying attention until all of the sudden Elissa and McCrae were arguing because Elissa thought McCrae and Amanda had gone through or touched her things and stolen some balls from a comp from her.  Elissa had apparently moved some of McCrae's clothes so they would all be in the same place instead of spread out in different drawers.  They went tit for tat for a few minutes with a few biting comments to each other and then literally fought to get to the DR first to be the first one to ask if other HGs were allowed to touch each others things.  No it's not daycare, guys, it's BB 15.

Never one to be left out of a fight, Amanda of course came outside to put her 2 cents in and started first telling Elissa that she is a bad mom and saying that her husband is 75 years old.  She then told her that "She should have been a blowjob but got stuck in the wrong hole".  Things pretty much went nuts from there.  Elissa kept laughing and went inside, but Amanda had bigger plans for the day.

Amanda was and is still determined to try to get GinaMarie on the block so that she can keep Aaryn for herself (when really she doesn't have the votes either way.  Andy and Spencer confirmed many times and even told McCrae today that they would have to keep GinaMarie and that Aaryn has to go.).  So, Amanda dressed herself in some kind of makeup to make herself look like "New Years Granny" and went around blowing horns in Elissa's ear, and screaming random things about hating her and America hating her etc.. for the rest of the day.  It was all rather amusing in my opinion if not a little watered down and weak in comparison to people who have done similar things in seasons past. GinaMarie's face in the following picture is just a happy accident. I don't know what was being said to her.

After hours of Amanda putting ketchup on pads and blowing horns, we got trivia, and when the feeds returned Amanda was talking about how she had been told she had to cool it for a while.  The details are unclear, but apparently BB told her she can't do anything that makes Elissa feel afraid or threatened.  Amanda spent a good portion of the rest of the night reading the BB rule book to find out what she was and wasn't allowed to do to Elissa.

None of what Amanda was trying to accomplish worked.  Her plan was to have Andy comfort Elissa and that way Elissa would think he wasn't working with her and wouldn't put him on the block.  Elissa was unphased in the way of nominations though and still intends to put Andy up.  She went a step further when she came outside to talk to Andy and Spencer, and Andy told her that GinaMarie had refused to commit her vote to keeping him.  Elissa called GinaMarie outside in front of them plus Judd and asked her if she put up Andy would GinaMarie vote how she wanted.  GinaMarie said she would, and Elissa said "that's all I needed to know" then went inside her HOH and locked the door and wouldn't let Andy in.

Andy and Spencer agreed later on in the night that since the whole "Amanda and McCrae will vote him out" thing is fake and he has the votes to stay, it is probably better for him to go on the block than GinaMarie, because that way they can get rid of Aaryn without having to fight Amanda about it.  Andy even shut Judd down who was still trying to help him by telling him that he didn't want him to get himself nominated, so to not bother pushing Elissa anymore with the idea of putting up GinaMarie and just let her nominate him.

Amanda and McCrae are of course still planning on keeping Andy at this point even though Amanda pulled this elaborate scheme and acted liek they were voting him out, so a good bit of their planning with Andy tonight was how to deal with Judd because obviously Aaryn will run to him and tell him that the plan was all fake.  So the plan is that after Andy goes up for nomination tomorrow, McCrae will pull Judd aside and let him know that the plan was all to try to save Andy from the block, and that Andy didn't know about it, and they were not sure if they could trust Judd yet, so they just let him go along with it.  This way Andy's hands stay clean, and it (in Amanda and McCrae's mind anyway) will build some trust back between Judd and McCrae.

Judd spent a good portion of his night talking with Andy and Spencer about what could happen in the coming weeks and just having general chit chat with them.  They all agree that Amanda and McCrae need to be split up.  Andy has added that he may have to get rid of Elissa first though as he is afraid after she gets rid of Aaryn, he will be her next target.  When Judd walked away a few times, Andy and Spencer both agreed that they might want to get rid of Elissa this coming week and then split up McCrae and Amanda, and then GinaMarie if they have any control at all in the coming weeks.  This is good news for Judd if either of them get power, but we all know the likelihood of that.  And yes, I am still aware of Andy's flip flops between being loyal to Amanda vs being loyal to Judd and Spencer.  Right now I think it could go either way depending on who gets HOH this coming week.

After things had mostly settled down and all were in their beds except Andy, Spencer, and Judd, GinaMarie could hear Aaryn still laughing and whispering with Amanda.  Aaryn really has played this whole thing with GinaMarie very VERY badly.  She knows that GinaMarie hates Amanda, but has not even tried to not tattle everything GM says to Amanda and spends most of her time trying to crawl up Amanda's ass.  I guess it got to be too much for GM, because she got out of bed and marched outside to the hammock clearly annoyed.  Judd, Spencer, and Andy all went to talk to her and she ranted for a really long time about Aaryn and the way she is being treated by her.  She hates that Aaryn chooses Amanda over her all the time and that Aaryn pits her against every EXCEPT Aaryn.  She brought up a lot of things and it was a pretty fiery rant, but I thought it was amusing to watch to say the least.  I kind of like fired up GM.  Spencer, Judd, and Andy all assured her that even if she was the one to go up instead of Andy, they would all keep her and boot Aaryn anyway.  They told her that they wanted to work with her and Judd told her he was on the same page with her wanting to split up Amanda and McCrae by getting rid of Amanda.

Where GinaMarie's vote lies at this point is a TOTAL mystery, which is unusual for me as a feed watcher.  I usually know because each person usually has someone you can tell they are being truthful with.  I can't tell with GM though.  She told Aaryn and Amanda that people are stupid if they think she would ever vote against Aaryn, but she has promised her vote to Andy and promised Elissa that she will vote Aaryn out as well.  So who knows.  In the end it will only matter if Amanda and McCrae actually flip and try to oust Andy instead of booting Aaryn, which I am doubting will happen, but never say never..

Things are mostly winding down now and I think everyone will be heading to their beds soon.  I expect to see Andy put on the block in place of McCrae at the veto ceremony this morning barring anything strange happening to make Elissa shift her crazy eyes to a different target.  I'm pretty sure she is dead set on Andy and there is no changing it though.  We will have to wait until close to Thursday to see if Amanda gets her paranoia good and revved up and decides to take a stab at getting rid of Andy (which I could totally see happening).
