Ever since the veto comp, both Dan and Memphis have assured Keesha that they will let her know if Memphis decides to keep Jerry. A little bit ago, Memphis came out of the diary room and said that he had been told not to tell her before the live show tomorrow night.
Memphis my be starting to second guess his decision, though, as Jerry is driving him crazy. Besides creating new conspiracy theories, he's been wandering the house counting things (ala Natalie), and reporting every discovery to a clearly bored Memphis. Every time he walks away, Memphis either shakes his head or giggles.
I really think this is a dumb move on his part. They're basing this entire decision on the fact that they can beat him in any endurance competition. They're probably correct, but the other two competitions are always based more on luck than skill. Especially the third part, which is always the "guess which phrase the jury member actually said" contest. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if the endurance contest is set up in a way that gives Jerry a shot to win.
Keesha, on the other hand, has spent no time studying the house and has never been seen going over what has happened in the past two months. She also has been pretty inconsistent in the competitions, even when she has won. Yes, she did beat Jerry in a tie-breaker when she won her second HOH, but her first win was due to Libra missing the final question. Her one veto victory only happened because everybody else went over the hour limit in that "buried alive" contest. This is all without even considering the impact on jury votes.
Off and on today, Jerry has been complaining about his neck. Yet, it's always at convenient times, and he usually does something right after that contradicts the extent of his pain. I have a feeling it's some dastardly plan he's created to save himself.
Yet it might be working. Memphis pointed out that he's in pain to Dan, who wisely wondered if he was faking.
Edit: Hahahahaha - since nobody was paying any attention to his ice pack, he disposed of it and started playing pool.
Dan and Memphis are definitely leaning towards keeping Jerry. Their theory is that he would be less likely to beat them in any competition. I'm not so sure about that. Yes, they definitely have the advantage in the endurance competition that's generally the first part of the final HOH, but most of the contests involving questions are based on luck rather than true knowledge...especially that stupid one where they have to guess which phrase each of the jury members said.
Poor Memphis. He's pretty much stuck with Jerry, who is completely convinced that Dan and Keesha put together a secret deal last night. In fact, they've had a deal since before the infamous HOH competition against Ollie. Oh yeah, and Jerry had a feeling it would come down to the two of them working together since they're so alike. Memphis is taking it all in, and pretending that he wants to carry Jerry to the finals, but when he agreed with him earlier he chuckled after Jerry walked away.
Jerry's still using his supposed influence in the jury house with Memphis. If Memphis screws him over, he promises to "lie, cheat, steal, anything to sway the jury house".
As decided earlier, it's Jerry and Memphis. Keesha thanked Dan for not nominating her, and he says he didn't put her up because he wanted to pay her back for protecting him earlier. Memphis knew it was coming...well, he suggested it, but Jerry believes it means there's some super secret deal between Keesha and Dan.
They're now on inside lockdown, as the veto competition set is being constructed outside.
Well, I was wrong on all counts. Dan won the luxury competition, and he gets to spend a day at a private beach. He had the option to take another person, and decided to go alone to avoid any "animosity". Oh, I think he'll still have some hurt feelings, particularly from Memphis. Jerry is babbling about the line regarding "changing the game", and thinks maybe he'll be bringing somebody back. Yeah, right. You've been saying that all season.
Personally, I would take Keesha!
Jerry's in the diary room, and Dan started talking about how Keesha is the last woman standing. She out-strutted Angie, out-played Michelle, out-screamed April, and "out-funnied" Keesha. He then asked who scared her the most, and Keesha said she thought Michelle was going to win the whole game.
Dan and Keesha then talk about how they fell for Michelle's hard-luck story...the first time they heard it. Memphis rolls his eyes, and is surprised to hear this.
Dan's response? "Yeah, but you're the dude that doesn't bat an eye when a 75 year old man falls into a pool."
BTW, I predict the luxury prize is a trip to the MTV Awards show on Sunday, as that channel is owned by CBS. I don't know what that has to do with the sumo guy, though. I think I want Jerry to win this, as nobody would be more out of place than him.
