The Night Owl

I wish I could tell you a lot happened tonight, but that's the exact opposite of the case.  I think we all knew this would be a pretty boring week since Jeremy is the intended target and he did not win veto.  The only thing really driving people to even talk any game is just the fear that Kaitlin won't use the veto on herself tomorrow.  If she didn't that would force the house to evict her or Aaryn or Spencer instead of Jeremy, and no one wants that.

Probably the most amusing thing that went on was Jeremy campaigning.  It wasn't amusing because Jeremy is good at it or interesting. In fact I don't really remember him saying much outside of "I really deserve to be here and you know it".  He WAS however wearing a diaper and baby bonnet.  So, that made it a little entertaining.

While Jeremy was campaigning, GinaMarie decided to turn Helen and Elissa into Jersey Shore type characters so they could put on a show for the house.  I've never been quite so embarrassed for them.

Howard talked to Kaitlin for a while trying to assure her that she needed to use the veto on herself even though it meant Jeremy would go home.  His intentions were good, but it set off Amanda's paranoia alarm.   Amanda, McCrae, and alternating other people popped in and out of the cockpit for a good portion of the night while Amanda freaked out that Howard might be conspiring to get Kaitlin not to use veto so he could keep Jeremy.  Aaryn eventually talked to Kaitlin and got the real story and told Amanda.  Hopefully this will calm her down or her Paranoia is going to take her out.

For a very long time the feeds were on Kaitlin and Jeremy making out and GinaMarie and Aaryn having a chat.  Aaryn tried once again to tell GM that she needed to let the whole Nick thing go and just play the game because if it was real, it would still be real after they get out of the house.  GM didn't hear any of her advice though and the conversation kind of went circular.

Outside of that the night was mostly spent in group conversations where they covered everything from "what would happen if we voted for someone not nominated on the live show?" to "please explain to me what a reach around is?".  There were some funny moments, but overall the night was pretty dull.

If everything goes as expected, sometime today Kaitlin will pull herself from the block and Jeremy will go up in her place most likely sealing his fate. I don't expect this week to get all that exciting until we see who wins HOH Thursday night, but stranger things have happened before.  At this point in the game I would love to see Howard or Judd win HOH and shake everyone up a little bit.  I'm tired of the Mom Alliance/Nerd Herd part 2.  Helen's HOH-itis is about to drive me over the edge.  As always you can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight updates.   Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

Not a lot happened today/tonight in the BB house.  The feeds were down for about 5 hours during the veto competition.  When they returned we found out that Kaitlin had won the veto.  She tried to talk to Helen about the idea of putting Howard up on the block instead of Jeremy when she comes off, but Helen said that the house would not be okay with that.  She said the house wanted Jeremy out, but that they would understand if Kaitlin didn't want to vote against him and that she could throw a vote to Spencer.

Helen did a lot of crying and acted as if her heart was absolutely broken over having to put Jeremy up.  She promised Kaitlin (just like everyone else she has talked to so far) that she would take her far in the game and that she and Andy were going to protect her and keep her around.

Andy and Helen held court in the HOH room for a few hours with various groups coming in and out while they all talked about what horrible game players the already evicted HGs were.  Andy in particular was very vocal about how terrible Nick was at the game and how awful the Moving Company was etc..  He and Helen went on and on as if having an alliance is a crime.  I guess they are the only ones allowed to have alliances.  The fact that Andy is in about 5 alliances at this point seems to matter very little to him.

Outside of that almost everything was really dull.  GinaMarie decided to go racist again saying Candice should "go back to Africa" and "too bad they don't have any nail technician Asians in the house".  She then went inside and cried some more about Nick...while still wearing his hat.  Andy, Aaryn, Jeremy,  Amanda, and McCrae at different times of the night all mentioned that they can't be around GinaMarie anymore because all she ever talks about is Nick and it's driving them crazy.

An incredibly unnecessary amount of time was dedicated to Kaitlin and Jeremy making out.  I mean hours upon hours upon hours.  Jeremy knows he is going home on Thursday so there really isn't any drama or questions or anything going on there this week.

Candice and Howard spent a lot of time together getting closer.  They game talked a little and Howard told Candice he thinks Helen has made too many promises since she has promised pretty much everyone to keep them safe, but she cannot win HOH next week.

Amanda got a good case of paranoia and spent a good portion of the night telling McCrae and Andy that she is sure that Howard has a deal with Elissa and that's why Elissa did not nominate him even though she told her to. She, Andy, and McCrae talked about it for a while, but they kept getting called out for production talk so the feeds kept cutting, and eventually people started mentioning penalty noms.

The most interesting thing that happened tonight in my opinion was Judd's slop breakdown. He is on day 2 and already losing it.  He went on a very intense rant about how much guacamole sucks, and said he takes back his "thank you" to America for the food because he can't eat grapefruit and guacamole is useless without chips.  A little later in the night Judd also talked to Spencer and Andy about how he feels like they need to start going after some of the girls because pretty soon there won't be enough guys to combat all the women in the house.  I agree with him.  The last thing I want to be stuck watching is The Mom Squad alliance or GinaMarie and Aaryn sitting around talking shit about everyone.

I'm sorry there isn't more to report tonight.  There was lots of Andy talk talk talking, and Helen crying and talking about "evil people" in the house, but that's nothing new since it happens pretty much every second of the day.  Hopefully something more interesting will happen in the next 24 hours and I will have something new to report.  As always you can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight updates.  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

Tonight was a night of confessions, house meetings, love fests, and fights.  After the feeds came back from trivia earlier tonight, we learned pretty quickly that Kaitlin and Aaryn had been nominated.  Neither of them are the target (that's Jeremy), but Helen and her alliance (the rest of the house minus Spencer and  Howard) wanted to put them up just in case Jeremy wins veto so that they can send Aaryn home in a worst case scenario situation.

After nominations, the confessions began.  I don't remember who was first, but at some point each member of the alliance formerly known as The Moving Company spilled their guts to the various members of the house.  Most had already told Helen before nominations (Howard being the only exception) but Spencer and Howard felt the need to hold a meeting in HOH minus BlondeTourage and Amanda and McCrae.  They confessed their actions in the MC and also left a lot of things out.  They blamed asome things on members not present (Nick and Jeremy) and it ended in a  "Kumbaya let's all hold hands and be good people" love fest.  Am I watching Big Brother? Because I feel like this is turning into something completely different. Spencer claimed that the reason he voted out Nick was because his family would not like him being in an alliance with people "who make offensive comments and slurs against women".  I assume he was talking about Jeremy, but the irony in that of course is that Spencer himself is currently on unpaid leave from his job due to the offensive comments he himself has said about women in the house.

Helen cried at least 15 times during the course of the day and night, but when Spencer and Howard gave their speeches, she and Andy decided to turn it on extra thick.  She cried and she lectured about people lying.  She talked about how they had to make sure the "good people" win the game and that the "evil people" don't.  I seriously can't with Helen.  I wanted to like her, but I just can't.  She has a terrible case of HOH-itis and victim syndrome rolled into one making her a gigantic pain in the ass.   Andy decided it would be better for his game to pretend that he is still mad at Spencer and splash water on his face to pretend he was crying. What that actually has to do with game play I have NO idea.  I think he was just really hoping they would call him to the DR to talk about it.  I personally hope they DO start calling him in more so I can have a break from his constant feed bombing all over the place.

Amanda and McCrae decided that when Elissa got her MVP notification (since everyone knew it would be her) they wanted her to put up Howard so the he could either win veto and they could BD Jeremy, or they could send Howard home if Jeremy got to play in veto and won.  Amanda is all about getting Howard out because she knows that he does not trust her and would like to see her leave.

After Elissa got her MVP confirmation, she told McCrae.  McCrae told her he would take the heat and tell everyone that he got MVP (WHAT?!).   Why he would want to put an extra target on his back bigger than Amanda already is, I have no idea..but whatever..it's what he did.

Amanda still feeling confident that she could control everything including the MVP nomination decided to start a fight with Candice about Howard going up on the block because Candice had pleaded with Elissa and Helen and McCrae to please keep Howard off the block and put up Spencer instead.  She has grown close with Howard and told Amanda that she would feel the same way about someone wanting to put McCrae up.  Amanda refused to see the reason in this and she and Candice ended on bad terms with Candice going downstairs angry.

Amanda THEN decided it would be a good idea to fight with Howard when he was pulled upstairs to talk with McCrae to talk about being put up as the MVP nomination.  Howard was okay with going up and kept trying to apologize and squash things with Amanda, but as usual she kept beating a dead horse and wouldn't let it go. She kept telling him she wanted an apology from him for "bullying" her (since when is wanting someone out considered bullying?!) and Howard kept telling her that he WAS sorry for wanting her out etc..  Eventually they just stopped fighting about the same ridiculous things that happened last week and Howard went downstairs.

Then, Elissa was called to the DR to make her MVP nomination.  When she returned upstairs Amanda and Helen were in the room and Elissa told Amanda that she didn't get MVP.  Amanda called her a liar and they started arguing about it.  Finally it came out that Elissa did have MVP but that she did not feel right nominating Howard and had nominated Spencer instead with the target still being Jeremy.  Her nomination could very well be due to production interference because Helen mentioned at least 3 times tonight that the DR did not want Howard nominated and then the feeds immediately cut to fish each time.  Once Amanda learned that Elissa had nominated Spencer and not Howard, she went off and started her third fight of the night.  She said she didn't understand "how Elissa could fuck them that way" and that it wasn't fair that when they protect her she would go against them and make a different nomination.  Elissa said she didn't understand why it would matter if it was Howard or Spencer on the block if Jeremy was the intended Target.  Ellissa then went on to yell at everyone in the room about how they use her and get information from her and get her to nominate people for them, but they don't ever clue her in on what THEY are doing or what THEIR alliance is thinking or who THEY are going to nominate.  The fight really didn't come to a solid conclusion, it just ended with Amanda storming downstairs with McCrae in tow so they could talk about how stupid Elissa is for going against them.  While I'm not surprised and saw this coming from a mile away from the time Amanda started trying to save Elissa to control her, I will grant Amanda the fact that Elissa knows NOTHING about how the game or nominations work.  She makes very stupid decisions about it (like putting Jeremy straight on the block knowing he will likely win veto) unless Helen is in her ear telling her exactly what to do. So really, both sides of the argument were kind of ridiculous.

Meanwhile, Spencer had a really long chat with Judd explaining to him how much he liked him and still wanted to be in an alliance with him.  he told him that everything he had told him in the last week as far as liking him and game play had been true with the exception of not outing the MC to him until today.  Judd asked him a lot of questions about the various members and Spencer told him (and told the HOH crowd earlier) about Nick's real job and going to Yale etc.. Judd was happy that he was right the first week about Nick, Spencer, Howard, and Jeremy being in an alliance.  He had been paranoid about it when he caught some of them talking late at night and was excited that his suspicions turned out to be true.

When Spencer was done talking to Judd, McCrae did damage control about the MVP nomination.  Since he had already told Howard that HE was MVP and that Howard was going up, he pulled Howard into the cockpit and spoke to him about not putting him up.  He got him to swear on the Bible about not coming after them etc..  and then ended it.  He then pulled Spencer in to talk to him about going up (since Elissa had actually already nominated him).   Spencer told him he did not mind being nominated and would take his punishment, but that he would like to not be on the outside of the alliance.  They both talked about how the reason the MC did not work was because of Jeremy being such an asshole and being cocky and paranoid.  They said they both liked Nick, but that they had to stop the alliance because they could no longer be associated with Jeremy.  After their talk, Spencer went to bed.

Meanwhile, up in the HOH room, Elissa, Helen, and Judd were having a talk about what happened with Amanda.  Elissa started crying and saying she wanted to self evict again, but none of us are actually that lucky, and I'm pretty sure production would handcuff her to the have not room if she even TRIED to leave.  Judd and Helen both told Elissa not to let Amanda push her around because MVP is hers and it's her decision as to who goes up no matter who it is.  Later when Elissa and Helen went to bed in HOH, they both discussed having to turn on people who had protected her implying Amanda and McCrae.

At some point when all these other things were happening, GinaMarie still dressed in Nick's hat and carrying around his coffee mug and chapstick, was told the truth about the MC alliance and who he really was via Helen.  Helen was nice to her about it and they had a good laugh.  GinaMarie decided that she does not necessarily believe Nick skates because he did not comment on her "skate shoes". *Head Desk*.  After her chat with Helen, GM was called to DR (I'm assuming to talk about what she just learned).  When she got out, Amanda decided to tell her "no one wants to hurt your feelings by telling you the truth, but Nick was saying he needed to get rid of you right away because you are so annoying".  GinaMarie let that soak in for a minute and then laughed it off.  She asked around a bit if it was true and people confirmed it.  She responded by saying she still has feelings for him and will continue to wear his hat and see what happens at the finale.  Again, I can't make this stuff  up. She is REALLY like this.  According to Judd, she now sleeps with the coffee mug that Nick drank out of.  I'm thinking the only thing GM might win out of this season is a straight jacket and a ride to the asylum.

Amanda had a long chat with Aaryn telling her that she was in a good position because everyone wants Jeremy out.  Aaryn told Amanda that Kaitlin said that if Jeremy goes this week she is just going to self evict after him because she doesn't want to be there anymore. Aaryn asked why she is the bigger threat than Kaitlin and Amanda told her that it was because she is stronger and could win HOH.  Aaryn countered that by saying "yeah, but I don't have any votes on my side and even if I won HOH all I could do is nominate whoever the house wanted out. People should just be using me as a tool".

After that chat, pretty much everyone went to bed except for McCrae and Amanda who laid downstairs a while longer alternating kissing and talking about how "stupid" everyone is who isn't going along with their plan.  They then went to bed too.

The HGs have been on lockdown all night, so Veto should be played sometime this morning, and that will seal the fate of either Jeremy, Aaryn, or Spencer.  As always you can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight updates. Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

I don't particularly know where to start tonight.  I really thought this would be a recap where I talked about being disappointed over Nick getting evicted (which I am) and poked a little fun at GinaMarie's reactions to it (and I will get there...trust me), but SO much more has happened tonight that my brain feels like mush.  I will try to explain it all, but there is a lot to tell.

So, the live eviction goes about as we expected it. Howard and Jeremy were the only members of the MC to vote to keep Nick, and Howard knew that he was going home anyway.  When Nick left we heard the sobs we all knew were coming from GinaMarie.

When the feeds returned, GinaMarie was sitting sobbing and blowing her nose into Nick's shorts (I'm not kidding) while wearing his hat and talking about how if she just had ONE more week with him then he would have wanted her and they would have been together.  She threw out a bunch of other stalkerish lines like "You guys don't know what we had together alone when it was just us" and one of my favorites "How do I know he won't find a girl at home? How do I know he is gonna wait for me?".  At first I thought to myself..."My gosh, I've never met someone so completely unaware of reality.", but then I remembered Aaryn, and boy did she prove her delusions tonight!

While GinaMarie was still crying in her bed and lamenting her sorrows to Aaryn and Kaitlin, Jessie had the audacity to tell her that she was very sorry this had to happen.  GinaMarie told Jessie it was her fault that Nick was gone and then the fighting started from there.  First there was a squabble between GinaMarie, Aaryn, Kaitlin, and Jessie about the bed situation.  Jeremy and Kaitlin had taken over the bed where Jessie and Judd had been sleeping.  Jeremy and Kaitlin didn't ask, they just did it and then proceded to imply that Jessie was a slut.  Well..it wasn't really just implied.  Aaryn flat out called her one. Judd came into the room to see what was going on between the girls and before he could even say anything Kaitlin Screamed "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM, JUDD" (even though it's actually the room where HE sleeps and Kaitlin does not).   Judd grabbed Jessie and they went upstairs for Helen's HOH reveal.

At some point while everyone else was enjoying Helen's HOH reveal, downstairs Aaryn and Kaitlin (with GM still in the room sobbing into Nick's dirty shorts) flipped over Candice's bed and threw her clothes around the room.  I'm not sure why they did it. I missed that part, but when Candice came back downstairs she wasn't happy about it.  When she first came in the room Kaitlin said something smart to her and that was all it took. Candice said something about them flipping her bed and Aaryn was off and running with the racial slurs all over again.  Candice was mostly calm at first, but Aaryn kept snapping at her and making "the black girl voice" to mock her while telling her "she wants to see that black side come out".   Candice eventually started to lose it, and when GinaMarie chimed in with more nonsense, Candice snapped at GM and GM jumped up off the bed and got into Candice's face AGAIN with more racial slurs.  At this point I think Candice probably would have hit GinaMarie if Howard had not very LITERALLY picked Candice up and dragged her out of the room.

Once Candice and Howard were in the other room, Howard calmed her down a little telling her that he could not control his temper and needed her to stop so she didn't get kicked out of the game.  She went upstairs and confided in Helen and Elissa while Howard stayed downstairs and sobbed in the room alone.  I won't lie to you guys, I had a REALLY hard time watching that happen.  It's the first time watching the BB feeds has ever been emotionally painful for me.

Meanwhile, Amanda had heard that the girls were being mean to Jessie again, and indeed they were.  While Candice was upstairs, they were all railing on her for being a slut and being with Judd now as her "last and 5th choice when everyone else rejected her".  Amanda came in the room and started defending Jessie and saying "let's just ALL clear the air.  Aaryn was not having it so Amanda decided to rat everyone in the room out about each other and what they had all said behind each other's backs.  She told Kaitlin about Aaryn's problems with her and all the mean things she says about her and vice versa.  She told Jessie what they say about her.  Aaryn still balked and told Amanda she was being ridiculous and so Amanda then told Aaryn how she was trying to help her by helping her to stop talking shit behind her alliance's back and stop being portrayed as a racist.  Well of COURSE in Aaryn's mind this isn't actually happening because "she never said one single racist thing ever" so Amanda and Candice are making it all up.  This fight went on for a while and finally ended with Amanda storming off.

After that fight was over, there were a few smaller tiffs between the mean girls group while Helen and Elissa celebrated upstairs.  Howard and Spencer kind of scrambled around together trying to decide what to do now.  Very clear lines seem to have been drawn now that Nick is gone and the MC alliance is a bust.  Andy, Amanda, McCrae, and Judd are together.  Elissa, Helen, Candice, Jessie and Andy are together (Andy is in almost all the alliances lol), and BlondeTourage still consists of GinaMarie, Aaryn, Kaitlin, and Jeremy.  When Spencer came to Howard and McCrae and wanted to vote Nick out earlier today (not knowing McCrae was going to anyway) he thought that he would still be with MC, but they would have just ditched one member. That turned out not to be the case.  Howard and Spencer are now sort of floating along together without any real home.  Everyone agreed to not let on that the are no longer welcome in the alliance, but it's pretty obvious that they are on their own.

A bit later, Amanda tried again with Aaryn.  She tried gently approaching what was wrong with what Aaryn was saying and doing in the house, but Aaryn again managed to turn herself into a victiim.  She cried and claimed that she is afraid that people are going to believe she is racist "when she never said one racist thing and Candice just makes stuff up".   McCrae also jumped in on this one and told her she needed to humble herself and stop acting the way she was acting.  Amanda told her that it was her actions that got people like Nick and David who should still be there evicted, because if her alliance wasn't so awful due to her behavior, they might have actually been working together.   Aaryn of course didn't let any of it sink in, but many of you will be happy to know that she did spend a good amount of time crying in the bathroom about it.  I'm sure it was for selfish reasons, but I still take some pleasure in it.

Meanwhile, GinaMarie STILL dressed in Nick's clothes and hat and blowing her nose into his shorts was making sobbing whaling noises like a dying animal.  That's the only way I know to describe it.  I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this. It's SO much worse than Jessie's funeral in season 11.  Several people have told her that it "isn't like Nick died. He just got evicted". But there is no consoling her.  She has even been wondering out loud if she could possibly get on the same flight as Nick if she self evicted now.  I so wish I were joking when I say that...but I'm not.

I thought things were gong to wind down a bit and I might be able to put my tired BB'd out ass to bed when McCrae decided it was time to drop the MC bomb on Amanda and Andy.  He told them that there WAS indeed a guys alliance and told them all about how it was formed and how he turned on the alliance.  He said he turned on it because 1. he wanted to be with Amanda, and 2. because Spencer, Howard, and Jeremy were so bad at it.  He told them that it sucks that Nick got evicted because he was the only one who was actually a really good player and would have been great to work with, but that the other three were horribly and obvious and that they pushed him around about it so he had to turn on them.  Amanda and Andy took it really well. Amanda said she still trusts him, and Andy couldn't stop talking about how he can't wait to talk about it in the DR.  I'm not terribly surprised that Andy is excited to talk about anything.

Right now they are all still awake but things seem to be winding down, and I am spent so I'm going to have to call it a night. GinaMarie is still crying, but the others are mostly just chit chatting about various game aspects and trying to figure out how the food comp and nominations will go today.  I haven't even heard anyone say who is being nominated yet because the feeds have just been fight fight fight fight, but if I had to guess I would say it would be Aaryn and kaitlin.  The MVP nomination will of course be up to Elissa I'm sure, and she will likely nominate Spencer as a pawn with the intention to backdoor Jeremy if he can't play in the veto comp, or at least get him up there if he doesn't win veto.

HOH is really irrelevant this week in that the whole side of the house against BlondeTourage has the votes and the same targets, so all that will really matter is who the MVP nominates and who wins the veto. If Jeremy doesn't win he is going home.  If he does win, Aaryn is going home.  And that's the way I expect the week to play out.  Is anyone else already exhausted even though it's only week 3?!  I'm so glad the feeds are at least interesting this year though.  I'm really disappointed in losing Nick as a player, and I blame a lot of it on the MVP twist (and a lot of it on his own game play as well), but I can't complain about all the explosions that happened due to his eviction.  This is the reason most of us watch the feeds.  After tonight's events I'm going to say fairly confidently that Nick really needs to invest in a restraining order, and Aaryn may have to go into witness protection or something when she gets out of the house.

Anyway, that's it.  I'm sorry if this has been a jumbled mess of a blog, but it has been a very VERY long last 24 hours, my eyes are BARELY open, and it is WAY past time for me to sleep. As always, you can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more updates.  Until tomorrow night....

The Night Owl

Well, here we are on eviction night eve and everything hinges on this guy:

Amanda went to work today as usual setting about saving Elissa.  Elissa had already been in Jessie's ear a little trying to sway her and so Amanda decided that if Spencer and Howard were not going to vote their way, she would just send Judd on a mission to get Jessie's vote so that she could save Elissa.  It worked like a charm and Jessie's vote was swayed.

Nick spent all day campaigning and making sure that everything was still good by the MC and everyone who said that they were keeping him in.  They all reassured him that it was, but it seems this may not be the case.

Once Amanda came to McCrae with Jessie's vote being solid, rather than keeping his usual calm and stoic demeanor, he began to celebrate with her.  I mean REALLY celebrate about them being able to keep Elissa and vote out Nick.  Up until now I have only been nervous and thought that he MAY be tempted to be swayed, but I am now thinking that he might ACTUALLY be voting Nick out.  I'm not going to lie, I'm disappointed by it..a lot.

Here are the facts and reasons I think he might keep Nick:  If he votes against the MC, he will have 3 strong guys after him plus Aaryn, Kaitlin, and GinaMarie (not that the girls are much of a threat).  The MC will expose him and they will immediately want both he and Amanda out.  He also dropped hints to Amanda as if he thought that Candice or Jessie would vote wrong possibly preparing her for the vote he would have to claim was not his own.

Here are the reasons I think he IS voting Nick out:  He seems to have actually fallen for Amanda the man eater.  I think he thinks he may be able to remain protected within the numbers of the until now faux alliance with all the numbers, and also under the shelter of Elissa's weekly MVP protection.  Keeping Ellissa could prove to be a strategic move on his part and would separate him from people like Jeremy who are obviously difficult to deal with and unpredictable.

So that's where things stand and it all hangs in the hands McCrae.  To my dismay, I think Nick is going home.  I shouldn't be surprised, my favorites ALWAYS go home. I think the twist this year is bullshit and this has productions grubby little hands all over it, but when does BB ever NOT screw us with some kind of twist involving past HGs anymore?  I know not everyone agrees with me, so I will avoid a rant.

here is where the votes are:

To Keep Elissa: Judd, Andy, Amanda, Jessie, Candice

To Keep Nick: Spencer, Howard, Jeremy, Kaitlin, GinaMarie

Unknown vote: McCrae

It's eviction eve and it looks like we are still going to be stuck with Elissa AGAIN.  Everything hinges on the pizza boy from Minnesota.  Until tomorrow night....

The Night Owl

Well, surprise! The house flipped again tonight!

Early in the evening Amanda decided to have a chat with Aaryn about some of her racist comments and the way she is coming off.  Aaryn in true Aaryn form and all her KKK glory managed to make herself a victim in the situation.  She pretty much blamed it on Candice twisting people's words and that was the end of that.  Well almost the end...she went and told Howard how she isn't a racist but Candice was twisting her words as well.  All conversations were awkward to say the least.

As far as game goes, Amanda finally said she is on board with McCrae to vote out Elissa and Keep Nick.  He convinced her that Spencer and Howard were acting too shady for them to chance voting Nick out and being the only votes cast against him (which wouldn't be the case, but he needed her to buy it).  After she got on board, the next task was to try and get Andy to sway.  Andy is still totally against it and has told everyone at LEAST 20 times how much they NEED Elissa to stay in the house.  He has become a broken record at this point and I'm not sure how much more I can take.

If you don't have the feeds, you need to understand that just like the creepy chucky doll he resembles, Andy is EVERYWHERE.  No matter which feed you switch to or who you want to see talk, at SOME point during that conversation Andy is going to pop up and feed bomb you wanting to know if he "told you about the time his friend in college blah blah blah..?".  He is making game talk for everyone in the house EXTREMELY difficult.

For a while no one was really going to tell Judd what the deal was because Amanda figured they could cast the blame in his direction if he was one of the only ones who voted against Nick.  However, after Jeremy came and threatened and kind of scared him by telling him a bunch of lies about things people supposedly said about him, he went and confided in Amanda and McCrae, and they told him they were thinking they should all keep Nick and vote together.  Judd agreed that he would vote their way.

THEN...they got alcohol and the have nots got to drink.

The next thing you know Andy has told Helen that Elissa might be going. Helen got all riled up and went and got Amanda.  Helen got Amanda all riled up and Suddenly we are back to square one. Nick is related to Dan. Nick can't stay. We need Elissa. There is something weird about Nick. We should keep Elissa. BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.  *HEAD DESK*!!!

A little while later Amanda, McCrae, and Andy talked.  They flipped back to having to vote out Elissa, but Amanda isn't stable on the idea and neither is Andy.  The two of them are still determined that something is weird and doesn't make sense.  Who knows where this will end up?  Even after tomorrow night there is still all day Thursday before the live show to scramble.  As of now they are still scrambling like crazy talking in their separate corners. I've seriously never seen a cast play this hard this fast.  These people are wearing me out.  As always you can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight updates.  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

Well, the shit hit the fan in the BB house tonight!  First there was some game talk so I will get that little tidbit out of the way first.

The Moving Company had several meetings of the minds both in the HOH and the Hammock to discuss the plan, make sure it was still on, and discuss who they would like to see go next.  They ultimately came to the conclusion that it doesn't matter who goes next as long as it isn't one of them.  My personal favorite part of these conversations was Nick talking about the insanity (while making wrist slashing motions) of having to "hang out and listen to GinaMarie's garbage pail mouth and put up with Aaryn's stupid bullshit" while pretending to be in the BlondeTourage.

BUT THEN THEY GOT ALCOHOL!!!

Okay, lots and lots happened and if you have the feeds and want to see it you should flashback to around midnight BB time when the Have Nots went off food restriction. (did I mention the have nots were allowed to eat and drink?)

Before midnight, Jeremy decided that he would steal the entire bottle of red wine that Elissa had been looking forward to and drink it all himself..sharing only a little with Aaryn.  He got pretty buzzed and then went out to the hot tub with Aaryn while the have nots had their "yay we can eat" party.  Well, Aaryn decided that it just wouldn't be any fun for everyone else to be having a good time and decided to get up on her mean girl high horse and tell Jeremy how everyone was "mean mugging" her as if she stole the wine.  In reality no one was looking at Aaryn at all and the only thing said about the wine up to that point was Elissa saying "where is the red. I've been a have not and I wanted some. That sucks.".  She didn't say it to anyone in particular though.

After Aaryn got Jeremy all riled up about them getting "mean mugged", Jeremy decided to go into the kitchen in the middle of the party and start yelling at people.  He said a whole bunch of things that didn't make sense along the lines of "go ahead, put me up. I came here to win and it was all me. Ya'll can just be mad at me" etc..   At some point he yelled specifically at Helen and she started to cry and got really upset about it.

He also yelled either at or about Amanda? It's hard to keep up with.  Anyway, he then went out to the hot tub. Judd followed and said something along the lines of "I'm just happy to be able to eat"  to which Aaryn replied "you don't need to get all snappy with ME Judd. I've had your back this whole time!".  WHAT?!

Then Amanda decided she had to get her 2 cents back in at Jeremy and came out to the hot tub and started yelling at him about how she didn't say anything about the wine except to "check people's teeth if they wanted to know who drank it."  So Jeremy vs Amanda commenced and they yelled for a while and Amanda cried.  She eventually went inside.

Meanwhile, Kaitlin who had been hiding in the back bedroom decided that she was mad enough to need to call Jeremy inside so that she could confront him, but on her way through the kitchen, Elissa decided to yell at Kaitlin, but that tiff only lasted for less than five minutes and then Kaitlin began beckoning Jeremy to come inside so she could have a  piece of the action.  Jeremy however was not ready to come inside since he was busy fighting with Andy at the hot tub!!

Eventually Jeremy came inside and Kaitlin told him how stupid he was being and told him that he was going to get David sent home etc.. etc.. and he asked her if she was breaking up with him and wanted her ring back. She said "I'm not saying anything like that." and eventually went outside.

Candice, not to be left out of the action, came in to defend Elissa and Helen to Jeremy but was only able to do so for a moment before Aaryn decided that this battle better turn into a hat issue again and SHE began fighting with Candice.  That fight died down for a little while...long enough for Gina Marie to convince Jeremy that he needed to apologize to the still sobbing Helen.  So off he went to apologize to Helen.

Aaryn, was not to be shaken though and continued to fight with Candice while Jeremy apologized to Helen.  Candice then came with my favorite line by far of the whole fight: "I ain't afraid of you, boo thing.".

Eventually, Judd, McCrae, Amanda, and Andy made it up to the HOH room and started talking about how Aaryn MUST go because she is the starter of all of the shit.

All of these fights and discussions went on for a pretty long time and it would be impossible for me to include everything that happened here.  I hope you guys have flashback.  All I can do now is let a stream of pictures speak for themselves.

Oh, on the smarter side of the house, Howard was nowhere to be seen or heard during all of this and stayed away from the Drama.  Nick was in the room, but as usual had on his "completely no reaction" face the entire time.

So here you go...the fight in pictures:

 Aaryn drinking and shit talking

Jeremy with stolen wine

Amanda vs Jeremy

A lot of people fighting

Kaitlin vs Jeremy

Candice vs the room/hat

Andy vs the room

Helen after the fact

Aaryn still being a bitch vs Candice part 2

Apologies and Aaryn still fighting

Completely unaffected

Well..unaffected until the meeting with McCrae and realization that the house was turning on itself as planned.

You guys!! This is amazing drama that happened before BB would usually even start.  What an exciting night.  If you don't have the feeds you really should consider them. It's only going to get more volatile.  I'm spent for tonight and they haven't even headed to bed yet.  Until tomorrow night... (unless they get into it again in which case you will get a follow up.)

The Night Owl

Due to real life BS getting in the way of my BB watching (hate it when that happens), I didn't see as much of the feeds tonight as I would have liked to.  I'm pretty sure I didn't miss a whole lot though.

For anyone worried about Amanda losing her spot in the HOH bed, you can relax. She only left the room once I think in the last 24 hours and it was just to go drink som beer.  Her mouth also ceased to stop moving at all.  She seems to be running out of game related things to say about people and has now moved on to just being critical of every single one of the other HGs in general.  Anything she can think to say about them she does.  I cannot believe I started off wanting to like this girl.  It's official, I'm over her.  I just need to come up with a title for her more creative than "Aman-DUH".  I would be feeling super sorry for McCrae's ears right now if he wasn't getting some kissy face from her and possibly other things when no one but BB and the world is looking.

GinaMarie came to the brilliant conclusion that there are 10 votes this week (there are actually 12) and took this to her faux BlondeTourage alliance member, Nick.  He of course listened to her talk about how they have the votes to get Elissa out no matter what etc.. etc.. and agreed with her blah blah.  These kids really don't have a chance right now if they don't wake up to the bigger alliance controlling everything for now.  I do think eviction  night is going to be interesting if everything plays out with the votes and eviction the way it is planned though. I look forward to it.  Anyway, after talking to Nick about it GM ran to tell her other BlondeTourage members Aaryn and Kaitlin about her ideas.

The girl side of the BlondeTourage decided that Andy has turned on them and is acting shady and planning to keep Elissa since they have heard him say that he feels bad for Elissa because she IS a human being after all.  Andy of course IS voting to keep Elissa, but was not at the time plotting against them.  While the girls talked in the Hammock, the BB experience proved to be a little too much for Andy tonight and he was upstairs pouring tears to Regina Spektor.  I feel bad for the guy.  I really like him as a person, but that isn't going to win the game for him, and I'm not seeing any impressive strategy out of him yet.

There was a booze delivery at some point in the evening, but unfortunately I didn't see any real drama come from it or even anything really fun.  They mostly just did this:

Both during the day and overnight several of the TMC alliance members talked to Jeremy to make sure he was okay with voting David out.  To my GIGANTIC surprise he was actually okay with sacrificing him for the sake of the alliance.  I really wasn't expecting Jeremy to be on board, but apparently the MC alliance is solid for now.

Amanda got all emotional and spent some of the evening crying based on hearing that some people were coming after her. I'm not going to lie to you all though, I changed the feed and didn't hear what she had to say about it.  If I tried to keep up with everything Amanda said I would never look away from my computer screen or see any of the other HGs.

In more fun news, while the drinks were going around, some of the other HGs tried to teach Judd how to speak in a manner where others could understand him.  They also taught him a little bit of NY speak.  Speaking of Judd, I'm starting to not recognize him and think there is a new HG now that he has been on slop for the week.  Someone needs to feed that guy soon or we may lose the late night hilarity that is the J-U Double D.

There was a very very small late night tiff between Candice and Aaryn that is hardly worth mentioning. Apparently Aaryn thought Candice smashed her hat, and Candice was upset that Aaryn was bitching to everyone else instead of just asking her if she did it.  During the fight Aaryn corrected Candice's speech by saying "ASK!" (instead of ax) much like Aaryn does to production when they ask her to stop doing things.  The fight was over quickly when Aaryn walked away, but there is a big tension building there and they both went and told their versions of the argument to other people.  Apparently according to Aaryn it is the highest form of disrespect and is demonic for someone to sit on a southerners hat.  I can tell you as a southerner that this is absolutely not true. She also went on a tirade of racist and homophobic remarks after this, but that's not really so shocking coming from her.

Other than all that stuff, everything was the norm. David was a tool, Aaryn whined at David, was a smartass bitch to production and kept singing, Andy and Judd were funny, the showmances showmanced, and Amanda talked ..and talked...and talked.  Oh, and for anyone who didn't know, the POV ceremony DID happen today/yesterday and Elissa went up as expected.  So that's pretty much it for the night. Hopefully more action will come tomorrow night.  As always, for my other random thoughts on the night you can read my twitter @ashes2ashes13

The Night Owl

In order to understand the events of the last day/night, you first have to understand some of the alliances going on in the house right now.  The season is still pretty new and alliances are going to change, crumble, and form, so these are just the most current.  The very first alliance to emerge (I'm embarrassed to say their name, but I like the members) was The Moving Company.  This alliance consists of McCrae, Nick, Howard, Spencer, and Jeremy.  Next up you have the "showmance alliance" which consists of Jeremy, Jessie, Aaryn, and David.  After those there are a few alliances without names...or who have been named without their knowledge.  You have the "BlondeTourage" made up of Aaryn, David, and GinaMarie, and then what Amanda has just begun calling "Bieber Fever" which apparently consists of all the younger HGs except for McCrae who she considers her closest ally for now. Then there is a group that only Judd, Amanda, Andy, and Helen think is real consisting of the 4 of them plus McCrae and Spencer.

Okay, now that that's out of the way...

There has been a ton of strategizing today/tonight even though the POV ceremony hasn't even taken place yet.  The plan is still to put up Elissa and keep her plus blindside David, but there have been many talks, and some confusion as to who originally came up with the plan.  The plan to keep Elissa originally started with Helen and McCrae and then with The Moving Company (mainly Nick and McCrae), but by now, Amanda, Judd, and Andy have all been convinced that THEY were the ones that came up with the "brilliant" idea.  Andy  not as much. I think he believes he is just along for the ride on this one.

Amanda did a ton of talking in the last 24 hours (what's new?)  so I will begin with her.  After having some talks with McCrae while going to sleep Thusday night/Friday morning, he kind of let her believe that it was her plan to keep Elissa while he just dropped subtle hints to lead her to the final conclusion.  So she spent all day Friday convincing Judd, Spencer, Andy, and Helen to keep her and also convincing them that THEY were the ones with the idea.  She also conjured a fake fight with Elissa which I have yet to see.  This apparently came in the wake of her explaining to Elissa that she would vote to keep her but that they had to pretend to hate each other or something very close to that. (I still need to flashback and watch that part). I'm really not understanding how Amanda has not lost her voice or at least become sick of the sound of it by now. I feel bad for McCrae.  If only he were as good at kicking her out of the HOH as he is at competitions.

Amanda's non stop rattling and self praising aside, we got to see a few glimpses of what is SUPPOSEDLY going on with The Moving Company.  Nick found time to slip away and tell Spencer not only about the plan for the vote to keep Elissa and oust David, but also to tell him to play it cool and talk shit about each other if people ask questions or bring them up so that no one knows that they are working together and also so they never get put up together if someone not in their alliance wins.  This also helps them control the votes.  They discussed immersing themselves into the other alliances in the house in order to protect their other alliance members from that side of the house while still making sure the house is divided.  IE Nick joins the BlondeTourage group via GinaMarie while Spencer gets in good with Amanda and her little crew. Then if one of their non Moving Company members wins HOH and they have some pull, they protect their member on the other side.  Spencer also came to Nick later on in the night and implied that they needed to have a talk to catch up on what has been going on with said side alliances etc.. but this talk has yet to happen. If it happens after I post the blog and I catch it, I will be sure to do a follow-up with the details of the meeting.

Spencer relayed this info to Howard as well.  Spencer also held up his end of the deal by making sure to call Nick an "untrustworthy floater" to Amanda and Andy while they were discussing who to include in their alliance of people keeping Elissa. Amanda instructed them to DEFINITELY not let Nick know they were keeping Elissa because he is untrustworthy and she doesn't want him to know "her" plan.

Here is where The Moving Company's problem comes in... No one has told their 5th member, Jeremy, what is actually going on.  IF they were to tell him it likely would not change anything since he has what seems to be a stronger alliance loyalty to David.  Jeremy would likely lose it and either tell David or try to change things which would blow up the MC alliance potentially.  Jeremy and David already spent a good portion of today being very paranoid that people were turning on them and that David would go home.  The fact that they were blaming the wrong people for turning on them is kind of irrelevant ..the point is that Jeremy doesn't want David to leave and short of the other members of the MC being able to convince him that it was not them who kept Elissa, he will likely be leaving the alliance or screwing them over in some way.  I hope I'm wrong on this one, but I just don't see him being alright with them voting David out.

There is also the problem that Amanda has been in McCrae's ear for well over 24 hours now.  I'm not kidding, she has not stopped talking once during the time she has been awake, and so it's really hard to tell how invested in her he really is since he isn't trying to shake her.  If he is keeping her around and letting her think she came up with this plan just to keep her quiet about the plan and keep her from blowing things up, he might be brilliant.  But part of me is scared that he has forgotten  his original alliance altogether as he has slowly allowed Amanda to turn him into a pod person.  He did let her tell Elissa that she is staying and David is going home.  Where his thoughts are I really won't know until I see some DRs, or possibly when I see the meeting of the MC alliance.

Compared to all the strategizing that has been going nonstop, the other things that happened in the house tonight seem very unimportant, but I will try to give a quick rundown. GinaMarie managed to injure herself again by stepping on something else.  I think this is the third time.  If I were her I would invest in shoes.  Kaitlin and Aaryn both had pretty productive evenings, but they were mostly just rubbing on their showmances and talking sweetly to them about how it feels to kiss and love etc.. etc.. *gags*.  Neither of them seemed very concerned about actual game happenings.  Aaryn DOES put on her game face now and then, but it's usually when she is freaking out at David and telling him what to do or being angry at him for talking to Elissa.   I know she is pretty guys, but she might be ALMOST as crazy as Jessie....almost.

Andy spent a lot of time talking with Helen, Spencer, Amanda, and McCrae about their "new alliance".  He also spent a decent amount of time being very funny.  I'm sad that he doesn't seem to be in the inner circle or know what's going on when it comes to the real alliances in the house, because I truly do enjoy him and would like to see him make it pretty far.  As I have said before though, the season is young and there is still plenty of time.  At least he has not emerged as a huge threat to anyone so no one is really talking about evicting him yet.  Ideally I would love to see Jeremy get booted and see Andy join up with the other members of the MC.

Nick spent most of his day and night hanging out with David, Elissa, and GinaMarie for various amounts of time in an attempt to not only lull David into thinking he is safe, but to get in good with GinaMarie and her group and also with Elissa.  I think a lot of this is in preparation of the post vote where he, Spencer, and Howard have planned to play "the blame game" about the votes so that no one knows WHY Elissa is still there or who voted for that to happen.

As of now the HGs are all in the backyard, most of them in a group on the couches talking about past seasons and doing former HG impersonations.  After a long day of really hot weather I am ready to sign off and hit the hay before I do it all over again.  If I catch any big strategy sessions or meetings I will be sure to post a follow-up.  How are you guys feeling? Do you have a favorite alliance that you want to see succeed?  Until tomorrow night..

The Night Owl

It's been a busy 24 hours in the Big Brother house.  When I first turned on the feeds early in the day on Thursday, everyone was all atwitter about the MVP nomination.  Elissa had chosen David and his mane of blonde to sit in the third nomination chair.  She revealed to McCrae that she actually was the MVP which otherwise would have remained secret from the HGs leaving her nomination anonymous.  McCrae told Amanda and the news flew like wildfire from there.  Lots of the HGS, the girls especially, started talking about and getting worked up about all the things Elissa has done in the house, including lying about who her sister was and having confrontations with many of the other girls.  This eventually led to a confrontation between Elissa and Jeremy, and at some point left Elissa sort of fake crying and duckfacing reminiscent of another member of her family.

There was lots of talking among the girls and a few of the guys about getting Elissa out this week.  Their plan was to hopefully have David throw the veto comp so that whoever won could pull off one of the original nominations and have McCrae put Elissa up so that they could vote her out.  Most of them made it clear to McCrae what they wanted and really put the pressure on.  At one point, Amanda even tried to convince Elissa that maybe she should just quit.

However, McCrae and Helen, as well as a few other members of his alliance had other ideas.  He fully intended to put Elissa up if the situation arose to do so, but the plan among his alliance is to vote out David anyway unbeknownst to the girls and few guys who want her gone.  Helen seems to be one of the main supporters of this idea along with Andy, Nick, and Judd.

The veto was played and McCrae was once again victorious.  At this point I think he may be hurting his game a little to be winning so much so fast.  I'm rooting for the kid, but he may find himself forced to win in order to stay in the house soon if the rest of the HGs start to see him as a huge threat.  Immediately after the competition, Nick and McCrae went up to the HOH room to discuss what the best move would be since he was now in power of the veto.  They eventually came to the agreement that it would be better to take down Candice and put Elissa up, but to make sure that David and all his crazy tresses were voted out anyway to the shock of all those that vote for Elissa to leave.

Nick and McCrae are two of my very favorites, but I have to say my hopes were shattered when it turned out to be THEM rather than production trying to keep the other Reilly in the house.  I understand their reasoning though. Keeping Elissa in the house does leave someone in with a large target on her back.  It also gets out David who is in a showmance alliance with Jeremy, Jessie, and Aaryn.  Between David and Elissa, David is most likely the bigger threat to McCrae, Nick, Judd, Andy, Amanda, Spencer, Howard, and Helen (the group planning to keep Elissa) as Elissa has no real alliance.  Nick continued to talk to David at different timed of the night discussing surfing and skateboarding and reassuring David that he of course is safe since Elissa is the target (and the Oscar goes to..).

David seems to be none the wiser and trust that he is going to be okay.  He did have some awkward tiffs with Aaryn earlier in the day, but for the most part those were about him chatting with Elissa and he really doesn't seem to be all that concerned.

After all the veto game talk, everything calmed down and went back to normal. Jessie returned to obsessing about why Nick sleeps with GinaMarie now instead of her and wondering if he is gay since he is not giving her attention.  Last night she was traumatized that Jeremy was more into Kaitlin, but since Kaitlina and Jeremy are spending more time together, she had now returned to her former choice of unreciprocated interest.  She decided to take a bubble bath with Aaryn to discuss this with Amanda also present to explain the things too difficult for her to understand.

Speaking of Amanda, I have NO idea where this girls head is at.  She seems to be into everyone's business at all times, and she talks to everyone about everyone else.  Each time she talks to everyone she seems to be completely on that person's side.  I really want to like this girl, but I think she is making herself into a HUGE target by doing so much talking.  The one person I think she really IS loyal to right now is McCrae, but he is HOH, so there is no telling where she will go when the power shifts.

I am really starting to enjoy Andy tonight.  As far as alliances, he seems to be in pretty tight with McCrae and possibly Nick, and his humor has really started to stand out.  I think his intelligent quick wit is going to be great entertainment if he is able to stick around.  Unfortunately, he is another that is on board with keeping the Reilly beast in the house, but I can live with those shortcomings for now I suppose, and again, I understand why as players they are doing it. Also, I'm not completely convinced that Andy is keeping Elissa.  He tells a different story depending on who he is talking to, and he is very good at it, and very good at being casual about it.  I think his vote could easily still be up in the air and no one is really the wiser about it.

I haven't seen much of Candice or Kaitlin tonight other than some laying around in the room that used to be "the lounge" among other names (I don't think they have named the rooms yet this year), with each other and Jeremy and Judd.  They mostly just talked about areas where they feel fat and boring things of that nature.  There was a little Elissa bashing here and there, but nothing out of the norm. At some point there was a giant game of chess, but this broke up pretty quickly.

Spencer and Howard seem to be very close, and had some conversatoins over the night about the positives and negatives of keeping Elissa around, but I am not sure what conclusion (if any) they actually came to.  I am fairly certain they are still leaning on the side of keeping Elissa though.

After a while the game talk seemed to die off almost completely and everything just turned to nonsense conversations about everything from sports to what sounds a starfish can make.  Gina Marie rubbed her crotch on a few people (not kidding).  Amanda played "milk the cow" using her own boobs as udders.  There was a long discussion about who farts when they pee, and other random silliness.

Right now the plan seems to be to nominate Elissa and then blindside David, but we all know this is subject to change.  There are a lot of things (including production) to take into consideration, and days in the BB house always bring quite a few flip flops anyway.  I'm personally hoping the "keep Elissa" plan goes south and she walks, but I am seriously doubting that will even be allowed to happen.  We shall have to wait and see though.  Until then, it's all up to what our long haired HOH decides to do when the POV ceremony is held.

Oh, this also happened and I have no really good explanation for it:

What do you all think of the season so far? Who are your favorites?  I think we are off to a pretty good start. I cannot stress ENOUGH how much I am enjoying this cast of new kids vs the old rehashed HGs.  Until tomorrow night...
