The Night Owl

Well, GinaMarie did it.  Amanda and McCrae were put up on the block together today and the aftermath went just about the way most of us expected it to go.  First Amanda and McCrae ran to their bed to go talk about whose fault it was (Judd and Elissa of course) then Amanda marched to the HOH room.  Upon arriving in the HOH room, Amanda yelled at GinaMarie and told her that they were never coming after her and genuinely wanted to take her to the final four.  Amanda told her over and over and over and over that it didn't make sense to put the two of them up together.  GinaMarie kept her cool and told Amanda that it DID in fact make sense.  She told her they were a power duo and a couple. Two people playing the game together.  She told her she felt that this would make it a more even playing field to separate the two of them so they are not playing for each other. Amanda then told GinaMarie "You just fucked your own game.  You just fucked up! if Spencer or Andy win veto they will take one of us off the block and then whoever the replacement nominee is will go home!"  That sparked a fire in Judd who spoke up and said "So I guess we should all just pack our bags then and push you both to the end?"  Amanda hurled a few more insults and then ran downstairs to the have not room to cry and tell McCrae how she doesn't even want to be there anymore and how she can't live with these people.  She just wants to leave now!  She can't stand the idea of being apart from him (for two weeks).  etc.. etc... etc..

There was some more time spent in bed and then Amanda went off to find Andy in the storage room who she still believes is on her side and will take her off the block if he winse veto.  She started crying and talking about Elissa saying she couldn't stand to spend another week in the house with her "joker face" etc..  and Andy mosty just said "yeah, but don't give her what she wants.  Just try to squash it."  While they were talking, Elissa listened outside the door until Amanda got wise to her listening and tried to bust the door open on her.

Most of the rest of Amanda and McCrae's night was spent not saying anything other than comforting words to each other in their bed.  There was also a lot of laying in silence.  The only thing they did outside of that was go to the bathroom once, eat once, and Amanda went up to the HOH room crying and apologized to Judd, Elissa, Spencer, and GinaMarie saying she knows she is leaving and she loves all of them.  She asked them not to blame her actions on McCrae who so wants to be there.  The two of them still have no idea that McCrae is the target. They just assume that Amanda is the one going home...but really, they just laid in bed all night for the most part.  I was starting to think mirrors  might be needed to check for breath, but in the wee hours of the morning they popped up for a short but relatively normal chat/joke talk with Spencer, Andy, and Judd.

After the storage room event, Andy started to get really spooked about the idea of Elissa sending him out of the house after she started needling him about what he said to Amanda and why.  She acted suspicious and Andy talked to Spencer about it a while later.  He and Spencer agreed that if one of them got HOH they might need to put Elissa up next to one of their own alliance so they could get rid of her first and then just deal with Amanda next.  I'm not sure if Andy is still on that same page though as after some booze later on in the night, he and Elissa had a really long heart to heart and agreed that they totally trust each other.  I am sure he still wants her out, but I'm not sure if he wants her gone next or if his fears were eased.

While McCrae and Amanda laid in bed together, the other HGs drank, played Jenga, ate dinner, and cut up with each other.  They started calling Judd the "Slutty Chicken" because his chicken costume is now so ripped it won't stay on.  They teased GinaMarie about how broken she is now that her toe is broken along with her hurt back and finger.  And the night for the most part was relatively strategy talk free.

There WAS a little bit of gaming for a while between Spencer, Judd, and Andy in the cockpit.  Most of it was just going over what they already have about doing what they need to do in order to win veto and send McCrae  home, but a few new things popped up here and there. They decided that if McCrae or Amanda does win veto and come off the block, it would be a good idea for Spencer to be the replacement nominee so they can just vote out whichever of the two is left up and not piss Elissa off yet.  That way Elissa stays focused on getting out the other member of McCranda instead of getting mad at all of them for putting her up and coming after two members of The Exterminators.

That's pretty much it as far as the game talk went.  Now it's all up to vet and what happens after that.  Part of me kind of hopes that McCrae wins veto so that Amanda goes home instead, but that is from a personal standpoint as I do like McCrae more than her.  From a strategy point of view, it is better for Judd, GinaMarie, Spencer, and Andy to get rid of McCrae and leave Amanda begging to go to jury right after him.  After seeing the way Amanda acted today about the game and her worries about being on the block, I honestly think she may use the veto on McCrae if she wins it.  She is extremely worried about him going to jury first and being there with Jessie and Aaryn.

Either way, even if neither of them wins it, it should be an interesting day.  If Andy somehow accidentally wins it, he knows he is screwed.  He won't be able to use it because of the current alliance he is loyal to, but that could potentially turn Amanda on him and keep her from going after Elissa.  Anyone else who won will likely just be subjected to bartering by Amanda and McCrae to use it, but likely won't.  We shall just have to see how it plays out.  As always, you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight feed updates.  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

GinaMarie is the new HOH!! But that almost seems inconsequential compared to everything else that has happened since then.  When the feeds came back after the HOH comp tonight Amanda was already in GinaMarie's ear telling her that she just HAS to put up Elissa and Judd.  GinaMarie did a good job of skirting her demands though and pretended to go along with her to an extent, but gave us plenty of eye rolls and other expressions into the camera when Amanda was not looking.

Shortly after GinaMarie got away from Amanda, the Exterminator alliance celebrated in the storage room since they are now able to go through with their plan of keeping themselves safe this week and putting up Amanda and McCrae together.  After their small celebration it was time for Judd and Spencer to get their chicken costumes they won for being last in the HOH competition.

After the chicken costumes were revealed, GinaMarie was called to the DR to have her diary room session before the reveal of her HOH room.  While she was in there, all hell broke loose again between Elissa and Amanda.  Amanda technically started it this time by going into the house and calling Elissa a liar and basically following her around jabbing at her for various reasons.  I think this was mostly spawned because Amanda was so angry about Elissa's answer to Julie's question about their fight on the live show.  It didn't matter that Amanda started it though, Elissa gave as good as she got for the most part.  For the ENTIRE night, each time those 2 were anywhere near each other it turned into a poke and jab fest.  Elissa would talk about how much she "misses Aaryn" just to get Amanda riled up, and Amanda would go after Elissa being a mom blah blah blah...  There really isn't any point in me giving specifics of what they said when and where because we have all seen every comment over and over again this past week.

Meanwhile everyone else just tried to stay out of it and tried to avoid taking a side when Elissa or Amanda would come to them expecting them to side with them.  That is of course with the exception of McCrae who was on Amanda's side.  He did do a good bit of yelling at her to try to shut her up tonight though.  Judd and Andy had a discussion about how Amanda is driving them up the wall with antagonizing Elissa and then playing the victim and crying about it, but they both agreed that McCrae is probably the bigger threat and the one that will likely need to go this week if he doesn't win veto.

After the first real round of low blows, it was time for GinaMarie to get her HOH room.  She got pictures of Nick, a letter from her mom and step dad, and the usual goodies in her HOH basket.  Most everyone was happy for GM except for Amanda and Elissa who were too busy taking shots at each other, and then the stand off began.  Everywhere GinaMarie would go, Elissa would be 2 feet behind her, and 2 feet behind HER would be Amanda.  They eventually ended up in one of the most awkward HOH wait out fests I've ever seen.

For the record, neither Amanda nor Elissa won the wait it out contest. GinaMarie decided to leave the HOH first and go downstairs and while Elissa went to bed and Amanda was busy crying to McCrae outside about how Elissa "bullies" her and how tortured she is and how Elissa tortured Aaryn and how it's not fair, Judd, Andy, and Spencer made their way up to the HOH room with GinaMarie to have a small exterminators meeting and make sure they were all on the same page.

GinaMarie told them she was definitely putting up Amanda and McCrae, and they all agreed that they would like to get McCrae out this week if possible since he is the stronger competitor of the two.  There is also the fact that Amanda would really go off the deep end and just be a flailing loose cannon who probably would not be able to play very well if McCrae walks out the door.  They also all suspect a double eviction is coming this week, so they think even worse case scenario for them is Amanda or Elissa getting HOH, but they would still likely put each other on the block next to one of the Exterminators, and they can just vote out either Amanda or Elissa depending on which one is on the block.  They also all agree they will do whatever it takes to win veto to keep McCrae from coming down and keep GinaMarie from having to nominate Elissa and piss her off.

While the meeting went on upstairs, Amanda sat downstairs still crying and bitching to McCrae about Elissa.  She really seems to have no idea whatsoever at this point that she and McCrae are going on the block.  Kudos to GinaMarie for her poker face, because Amanda truly believes that Elissa and Judd are going up.

After a while GinaMarie came outside and spoke with Amanda, McCrae and Andy.  Amanda tried to make a fake final 4 deal with them, and GinaMarie played it off as if she bought it.  Amanda then started asking again about who would be going up next to Elissa.  She wants Judd, but said that between Judd and Spencer she does not care which one goes up as long as it's Elissa.  GinaMarie played it off again and told them not to worry, that she sees what Elissa is doing by following her around etc..  And she isn't going to listen to her.

Everyone is kind of winding down and going to bed now.  I don't see anything else big happening tonight.  I personally am really excited about this week.  I think tomorrow's nominations are going to be a total blindside (possibly a first for this year) because Amanda and McCrae don't seem to have any idea at all that GinaMarie might put them up together, and they certainly have no idea that Spencer, Judd, Andy, and GM are working together.  There should be plenty of fireworks when they go up.  I'm excited for Judd that he has managed another week of safety provided he makes it through the double eviction this coming Thursday (and I think he has a good shot this time).  I'm happy about Andy's game and the way it is going.  He is breaking away from Amanda and McCrae at the perfect time for him.  They helped him get pretty far while he helped them also up to this point, but now he knows he has to play against people who are not coupled up and powerful, and he is easing into his new alliance very well.  I know people hate Andy for playing both sides, and I constantly get the "Andy is a rat and a snake and a floater" comments on twitter, but I feel that he is playing well and right now I am enjoying him.

I'm hoping GinaMarie tops her last nomination speech this week.  Her HOH's are always a little comical to me as she really is a cartoon parody of herself.  So here's to some great fireworks tomorrow afternoon when nominations happen.  Fire up your feeds and don't make any plans to go out or you might miss it.  As always, you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight feed updates.  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

Well, the have-not comp was played and nominations happened today.  The week's have-nots are Helen, Elissa, GinaMarie, and Amanda.  Elissa and Helen were nominated as expected.  When the feeds returned after nominations, Helen and Elissa were talking to each other about how it all comes down to veto tomorrow.  Helen has no idea she is the target.  She has been told Spencer is the target if they can backdoor him, but if not, Elissa will go home.  Most of the HGs think this will be the "how bad do you want it" veto, and Helen said she is prepared to shave her head and eat slop for the rest of the summer. It will be interesting to see who does win veto as that could change the plans this week.

For a while Elissa talked to McCrae and Amanda about how she feels her time in the BB house has been unfair to her and how she wants to go home.  She still claims she will not stay in jury, but will walk if she gets evicted.  She also told him had she had an idea she would get evicted after jury started then she would have tried hard to get evicted before jury started so that she could go home to her family. My head hurts from all the eye rolling.

Amanda started on her newest campaign obsession tonight.  With Helen firmly planted on the block for now and her intention to send Spencer packing next week, she is hoping after that she can get Andy out because she feels no one can beat him in the end.  She told McCrae and said that Aaryn agrees with her. McCrae didn't seem to like the idea, but he wasn't exactly opposed to it either, which means if Andy doesn't watch out, he may be in trouble soon.  As much as I dislike Amanda personally, I can't deny the fact that she has controlled most of the evictions this season.  If she sets her sites on someone, they usually go.  This could all change though depending on who comes back into the house this coming Thursday. She may have to do a 180 and set her sites on re-evicting that person.

The rest of the night was mostly boring.  There was another nail party (yawn) and the boys downstairs plus Amanda spent a good portion of their night begging for booze.  McCrae and Amanda also did the usual face sucking among other activities.

After talking a lot with Aaryn over the course of the night, Helen came to the conclusion that Aaryn and everyone else (except Andy in her mind) will not use the veto if they get it.  So, she spent a while coaching Elissa on how she MUST win tomorrow in order to stay there.  This conversation turned into more of Helen boasting how she would never give Jessie a job recommendation in real life because she has bad character etc..  Helen really cannot go fast enough.

That's pretty much it game wise.  It all comes down to veto today.  If Helen wins, Elissa will go.  If Elissa wins, Helen will go.  There are perks to both in my opinion.  I just really hope something happens to liven things up after veto. As always, you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight live feed updates.  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

Well, Aaryn is HOH for the freaking 4th time this season, but for once I am actually kind of glad that for the most part Amanda controls her.  I want to see Helen or Elissa evicted this week, and that is likely going to happen.

As soon as the feeds returned after the HOH live show, we found Amanda once again crying and picking a fight with McCrae because she didn't win HOH.  The amusing part about this particular time was that both McCrae AND Aaryn tried to throw it to her, but she STILL couldn't win it.  I take that back, the MOST amusing part about it was that she crawled behind a trash can in the pantry to cry about it.

Shortly after the hiding behind the trash can incident, Amanda pulled herself together to go immediately get in Aaryn't ear and let her know they were evicting Helen this week.  Aaryn was totally okay with the idea of putting up Elissa and Helen, and Elissa did not help herself by apparently making comments about not wanting to sit near GinaMarie or Aaryn during the live show.

Right before or after (I don't remember which) the time that Amanda and Aaryn were deciding to put up Helen and Elissa (with Spencer as a replacement if one of them comes down) McCrae and Andy had a chat with their fake alliance member Helen and promised her to try to pitch for Spencer to be the one to go up on the block with Elissa so they could vote out Spencer.  This of course won't actually happen, but everyone is trying to get Helen to believe she is not the target.

While Andy and McCrae sweet talked Helen, Amanda filled in Spencer on what was going on in the other room.  Since it's necessary to put up Helen with Elissa (so that Helen can't win veto and use it on Elissa) Spencer will not be going up, so Aaryn and Amanda agreed they must make deals with him this week.

After Helen was finished talking to McCrae and Andy, she went and briefly spoke with Aaryn and GinaMarie about the things Elissa had been saying about them during the live show.  She could tell they were pretty upset and she then fled the room to go find Elissa and try to get her to apologize and play nice with Aaryn to keep herself off the block.  Elissa being..well..Elissa, was not okay with the idea of apologizing to anyone.  Most of her argument consisted of her talking about how she has more to worry about than some 22 year old. She has kids at home.. blah blah blah.  I really thought Rachel was weird in her first season, but finding out that Rachel was the normal one of the two sisters continues to blow my mind on a daily basis.  Elissa proceeded to talk about how she would walk if she were sent to Jury because she would rather go home to her family than spend time with the people in the jury house.

This conversation sent Helen flying back up to the HOH room where Aaryn, Spencer, Andy, McCrae, and Amanda were all hanging out.  Helen turned on the tears and sobbed it out about how she NEEDS Elissa's vote if she is in the final 2, and now she can't help Elissa anymore, but she has to play for herself.  In my opinion, all of this (including the tears) was Helen speak for "You can't put me up on the block if you feel sorry for me because I'm sobbing and I'm a mom."  Apparently I'm not the only one who felt that way since Amanda and McCrae want downstairs and chatted about how they both had no sympathy for what Helen was doing.

Helen eventually calmed down and after that everyone hung out in the HOH (well everyone except for Elissa) and chit chatted for the predominant part of the rest of the night.  They all spent a while telling Helen she just has to play for herself etc..  They did Candice impersonations. They talked about Jury house and how awkward it will be when Jessie gets there, and they tried to make Helen feel comfortable because no one wants her freaking out or knowing she is the target. They want her to believe the target is Elissa, and from what I understand, they want Elissa to believe she is the target as well until they blindside Helen.

Helen has now gone downstairs and says she is going to bed.  Everyone else seems to be winding down, and I am about to give up since they won't stop talking about production and getting the feeds cut every few seconds.  I am very very VERY excited to see Helen on the block as the target this week, but I do have reservations.  The jury twist was announced on tonight's live show.  The absolute LAST thing I want to happen is to have Helen evicted this Thursday only to bounce RIGHT back into the house by winning the competition against Judd, Jessie, and Candice.  I feel like if Elissa got booted, it would likely be Judd or Jessie (hopefully Judd) going back in, but if Helen goes out...it makes me nervous.  I will just have to see how the week plays out.  For all we know Helen could win veto and save herself leaving them to oust Elissa. Or if Elissa makes them miserable enough this week, they may oust her anyway.

Either way, there should be a have-not competition this morning followed by nominations in the evening.  Helen and Elissa should go up unless something drastic changes between now and then.  Hopefully nominations bring fireworks! As always, you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight live feed updates.  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

For the most part the feeds were really boring yesterday and tonight.  There were a few tidbits here and there that are worth mentioning though.

Jessie and Spencer are nominated as predicted.  While Andy was the one to put the keys in, this is of course another Amanda/Helen HOH...mostly Amanda this time.  When the feeds returned from the nomination ceremony, Amanda was telling McCrae "Helen MUST GO next week."  and that she must be backdoored.  This is typical for Amanda at this point. As soon as the nomination ceremony happens each week, by the end of it she is pushing for the next week's target.

Earlier in the day, Helen had given a gentle push to Andy about possibly getting Amanda out this week, but as he is more loyal to Amanda than Helen, this of course did not fly.  She continued to question it off and on a little tonight through stealth whispers, but each time Andy just told her "it's not time to make a move like that yet."

I'm honestly not sure what exactly it is that Aaryn is up to.  She is supposed to be in a final 4 alliance with Amanda, McCrae, and Andy, but they all want Jessie gone this week, and Aaryn is suddenly pushing to keep Jessie and evict Spencer.  She only dropped subtle hints about it to Andy and Helen, but she spent a good portion of her night coaching Jessie on various veto comps and how to win them as well as how to manipulate the HGs into thinking they need you to stay.

While Aaryn was coaching Jessie, Amanda and McCrae talked about who they are taking to the final 3 with them.  Amanda has become very comfortable with the idea (or fact as it is in her mind) that she will be in the final 2.  She and McCrae talked about taking Elissa "because she can't win anything"...I guess Amanda forgot Elissa has won one more comp than she has.  They talked about other people too, but never came to a conclusion.  When Judd was still in tight with Amanda, he told her several times not to get comfortable because if you do, the next week you'll go home.  I've never ever wished for a prediction to come true so hard in my life...although Helen going out would be great too.

Veto should pbe played sometime today.  Most of the HGs are pretty sure it will be either the "count until an hour" comp or the "count things and play poker" comp.  I have no idea what it will actually be.  With Andy being HOH this week and the MVP twist gone, I don't expect anything crazy to happen.  Even if Jessie or Spencer wins Veto, it will just mean that GinaMarie will go up and likely go home instead of Jessie (although Amanda says Jessie must still go even if GM goes up).  The most exciting thing we will probably see this week is whether Amanda or Helen is a better schemer since the two are now ready to go after each other next week. As always you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight feed updates. Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

Well, it's been a long night.  We watched the first double eviction of the season go down, and while the drama was very high and entertaining, I was also extremely sad to see my very favorite person in the house walk out the door.

When the feeds returned after the show, Amanda and Helen had already begun to game hard again.  They were exchanging stories to Jessie and Aaryn and Spencer and anyone else who would listen about how "Bad" Judd was and how he was a liar and had to go etc..   Alternately, McCrae and Andy were crying and McCrae was second guessing his decision.  When McCrae got a moment alone with Spencer, Spencer told him "I don't know what all this other crap going around about Judd is, but he always told me he was loyal to you and Amanda and Andy.".  This later spawned a conversation between Amanda and McCrae where McCrae told her that he did not actually believe that Judd was up to all the stuff she was claiming he was, and he felt like this was a really bad game move for him to get rid of one of his allies.  DING DING DING!!

Shortly after the feeds had come back, they went to trivia again so the next HOH comp could be played.  Surprise! Andy won!!  I was actually really shocked by the fact that he won, but unfortunately it's disappointing (in my opinion anyway) because it means this will be  ANOTHER freaking week of doing what "the house" wants...meaning what Amanda and Helen want.   Amanda has already told Andy to put up Spencer and Jessie and make Jessie the target.  If one of them wins veto Amanda wants GinaMarie to go up. Andy has agreed to all of this. ...*snore*

Amanda had a meltdown (surprise!) and a small fight with McCrae because she did not win the HOH comp and she blames him for beating her out.  It sounds like it was one of those games where you play against each other and then the last people standing battle it out.  From what I understand the last pairing came down to Andy and McCrae.  Andy then got to choose have-nots, but people volunteered, so he didn't have to choose.  Have-nots ended up being Elissa, Helen, Aaryn, and GinaMarie.

There was a lot more talk between various HGs over the course of the night, but very little of it had to do with game.  Most of it was either sadness over Judd being gone or just talk of how stressful the double eviction was.  Aaryn got her HOH basket. Andy got his HOH room. He got an old fingernail that fell off when he was a kid and his teeth in his HOH basket.  I'm not kidding. They got alcohol and Helen smoked a celebratory cigarette and trumpeted on and on about Andy being "America's HOH" right now. blah..blah...blah..

I expect we will see Spencer and Jessie put on the block this morning.  It should be a fairly uneventful day and week really since there is no longer and MVP or third nomination, and not even a have-not comp.  Even if one of the people on the block wins veto, a predictable nom is going up in their place.

I have a lot of questions in my head this week.  Why oh WHY won't they take a swing at Aaryn? With 3 HOH wins and a veto win only halfway through the season, why not go after her when they KNOW she can play HOH again this coming week?  They all thought Howard and Judd were "the most dangerous players in the game", but for some reason no one will take a swing at Aaryn the comp monster or Helen or Amanda who have been running every HOH via manipulation since the season started.  I don't get it!

I also want to know what Julie means with all her cryptic tweets about reset buttons and her comment to the HGs during the live show that "this year going to jury does not necessarily mean you are out of the game.".  It could be something totally stupid, OR (and I'm afraid to even hope) it COULD mean one of the evicted HGs will get to come back into the game.  He was one of the only people I was actually entertained by while watching the late night feeds.

Outside of pondering  twists and why this cast REFUSES to shake things up or make a move, the only thing left to do is wait until all the outsiders are voted out so we can actually see who will get who first when it comes down to Helen and Elissa vs McCrae and Amanda.

The Night Owl

A lot happened tonight, but most of it will be inconsequential in the long run.  For most of the day and night Candice did not leave the have-not room and stayed in her airplane bed under a cover.  She had determined that she was likely going to be the target when she is put up today/tomorrow and she felt that had been the plan all along.  She was also dealing with Howard not being happy with her for trying to campaign on his behalf in addition to most of the HGs talking shit about her to varying degrees.

While Candice stayed in bed there was another stupid nail party up in the HOH.  All the girls plus Andy and minus Candice participated this time while the boys downstairs had a pizza making party.  Much wine and beer was partaken of at the nail party upstairs and all the girls aside from GinaMarie and Amanda (have-nots) were quite tipsy after leaving the party.

While Helen, Elissa, Jessie, and Andy continued to drink, Amanda told Judd that the general consensus of the nail party is that he is being mean this week and so he needs to be nicer to the girls and kiss a little ass.  She told him she did damage control by telling them that he was a have-not/not feeling good/having anxiety, but that he still needed to be nicer and that Jessie was upset that he was not being more "lovey" with her.  So after checking in on Candice to see if she needed anything, off he went to the HOH to girl bond.

Meanwhile Amanda went in to speak to Candice about what was going on with her.  They had a VERY long discussion in which Candice told her how she felt and Amanda tried to explain to her that none of this was personal and that it was all game.  She told her that she needed to take her personal feelings for Howard out of it and not to give up. They also talked about Aaryn and Amanda tried to explain to her that the Aaryn thing was also a personal issue and not related to the game.  Candice told her she understood all of that, but that if it was Amanda up against McCrae on the block or if she had been attacked for being Jewish, she would be emotional too. While Amanda was talking to Candice, Helen and Elissa took it upon themselves to listen to the whole conversation at the door.

After a while Helen and Elissa got tired of listening in on the conversation and decided to just insert themselves into it.  Helen did a lot of self victimizing and martyring of herself as well as telling Candice that she (Candice) could not work with someone who has been lying to her (Helen) for the WHOLE game.  Did I mention Helen was still drinking?

The conversation eventually wound down after Candice admitted to them that Spencer had been the one to encourage her to campaign for Howard and that he told her what to say to Helen last night.  I don't know if that part is actually true or not. I missed the conversation Candice had with Spencer about campaigning, but I don't doubt it.  Once the conversation was over, Candice finally emerged from the have-not room to move around the house and go outside for a bit.  This made me happy since until tonight I was pretty sure Candice had given up all will to live in the game and might self evict.  I'm not sure she is cut out for BB, but I do feel bad when someone gets so down they become that isolated and cry that much.

For a while it was all fun and drunk games as Helen loudly blabbed about things and Andy threw a lime in the pool and made jokes about Nick that made GinaMarie freak out. The drunk people were tipsy and the have-nots smoked.  Didn't last long though.

After the conversation with Candice Amanda went up to the HOH room to talk to Aaryn and GinaMarie about how Spencer was the one to blame for Candice's "threatening" campaigns last night.  She told them that this means they can't go after Candice next, but instead need to go after Spencer and make sure that he is the next one out.

This conversation was apparently upsetting to Aaryn (who was also drunk) because she does not want Candice back in the game.  At 2 different times during the night she had Spencer up in the HOH room alone to tell him that she thinks Howard is a good man and that she does not want him to go home. She wants Candice to be the target. During her second talk with him she admitted to him that it was not Helen who wanted Howard nominated and out, it was Amanda.  She told him that now she felt trapped like there was nothing she could do because Amanda was now saying that Candice wasn't even a target anymore.

Downstairs, Drunk Helen told Drunk Elissa that Jessie was now a problem and that she was trying to play head games with them.  She told Elissa that she couldn't get Aaryn alone without Jessie and that she was now sure that Jessie was the one that told lies about Kaitlin to get her out of the house and make sure they kept Aaryn so that she could get Elissa and Helen to target Aaryn next. What?!  Anyway, the two of them made a drunken plan to tell Jessie how much they love Aaryn and want to keep her now just to drive Jessie crazy. Helen also apologized to the camera for evicting Kaitlin (of course).

The "Goof Troop" alliance minus Judd/plus Jessie had a meeting in the cockpit to make sure they were all still on the same page to get Howard out and then target Spencer next.  They as of now are planning to tell Howard that things are fine and that he is okay and then blindside him on Thursday if they can.  Chances are it won't be a true blindside though since they already told Candice she is absolutely staying.

Aaryn came outside for a while and told Amanda and Judd about her conversations with Spencer and said that she was just trying to make him think that she was low on their totem pole and trying to cover her bases with Spencer. Amanda told Aaryn that she is actually staying for a long time and that Elissa and others were all going well before she would ever be gone.

Helen held court in the storage room where for a while she had a drunk love fest conversation with GinaMarie and then later had a conversation with Howard.  Helen told GM that she would likely win America's favorite player and discussed Nick with her for a while.  Howard told Helen that if he was going to be put on the block next to Candice, he would rather have them keep her and send him home.

Andy listened in at the door while Helen and Howard were talking and then went to talk to Helen afterwords.  He told her that he realized Howard was a nice guy but that was the reason he has to go.  He later reported everything back to Amanda and the rest of his alliance. He told Amanda and McCrae that he and Helen just think Howard is probably a nice guy outside of the game. Amanda freaked out and went into the "but Howard BULLIED me" speech.  Andy told her to please not pull a Judd and just trust him that he and Helen are solid.

While Andy was talking to Helen and the others, Howard and Candice got into a fight about everything that Helen and Amanda told Candice earlier in the night.  They told her that Howard had not protected her and was campaigning against her and so she was mad at him about it.  Howard told her that he was sincerely sorry for whatever he had done, but that he was surprised that she would believe the lies of people coming in to talk to her about him.  He also told her he knew that she was definitely staying in the house and that he just wanted her to get herself right and ready for the next HOH. The fight went in circles for a really long time as do most Howard and Candice conversations.

After the fight, Spencer and Howard went into the cockpit to talk about game. Judd came in and told Howard that he was planning on keeping him but that he thinks Candice is going up. Howard told Judd that he had just had a discussion with Helen in which he told her that if he and Candice were going to be pitted together, he would rather have them keep Candice and send him home. He explained to Judd that it made no sense to him that everyone had been supposedly targeting GinaMarie and Aaryn, but now that Helen was pulling Aaryn's strings, suddenly it would be Candice going up and not GM.  He said that there was also another person on the block that could be voted out (Amanda) and that he had never seen a season where the whole house felt the need to vote together a certain way just because one or two people in power say so.  Andy popped in on the conversation and Howard explained it to him as well.

Howard made very good points to Judd and Andy about people playing just to get to jury and people just doing what the people who are going to beat them in the end are telling them to do, but unfortunately it I am sure it falls on deaf ears since Judd and Andy are solidly aligned with Amanda, McCrae, Helen, and Elissa.

While this conversation was going on, Amanda and McCrae were outside discussing how they may not trust Andy and Judd. Amanda has decided she is not sure she trusts Judd anymore because he lied (even though he admitted it to her) about Kaitlin wanting Helen out.  The conversation between the two of them started to get heated when Amanda started trying to obviously pull people into the cockpit to talk to them in front of Spencer and the two ended up fighting with Amanda storming out angry.  I missed a LOT of the conversation before the fight due to listening to the conversation with Howard, Judd, Spencer, and Andy, but I THINK it was mostly about Amanda being paranoid and not trusting people in their alliance.

Things are still going right now. Amanda is in the Hammock, McCrae in the cockpit and Spencer and Judd are talking on the outside couch.  A LOT of game talk is happening and it's fun to watch them scramble, but I don't think it changes anything.  I'm still pretty certain Howard will be going home on Thursday.  I will update if any more happens while I am still awake.   The veto meeting should be sometime this morning, and I expect barring something crazy drastic happening, Candice will be put on the block after Spencer takes himself off.  As always you guys can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight feed updates.  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

First off, a HUGE congrats to my favorite feed entertainment, Judd, for winning HOH tonight!!! I'm really excited for him!!

Unfortunately, for Judd to do what he wants this week he will have many people to overcome.  Directly after the live show the feeds came back to Amanda already bossing him around about how much she wants Howard out.  Jessie dared to suggest a different idea like maybe Kaitlin or Aaryn leaving, and Amanda immediately jumped down her throat.  She said everything she possibly could to Judd and everyone else about how "dangerous" Howard is and how important it is to backdoor him this week.

A little while later Judd got his HOH room and Helen and Elissa's butts remained firmly in place in the HOH bed cockblocking any game talk that could possibly take place by other people coming in and out of the room.  Spencer was able to grab a few precious moments with Judd in which he told Spencer "This is MY HOH and I'm not listening to what someone else tells me to do. I'm not putting you up no matter what. I would like to see a girl leave this week.".  Judd told Elissa and Spencer both that he would prefer to nominate Kaitlin and GinaMarie with GinaMarie being a pawn.  He stated that while Aaryn is a bad person and certainly not fun to be around, Kaitlin wins comps and comes very close to winning the ones she loses.  She is also very social and sweet when she wants to be, making her a bigger threat.  He said he would like to see Kaitlin voted out.

Elissa then pulled Judd aside and told him that she didn't like the idea of sending Kaitlin out and wanted to use "her" MVP to put Aaryn up with Aaryn to go OR to backdoor Spencer or Howard.  We of course know that Elissa will not get MVP this week because we are the ones making the third nomination.  However, the nomination will be the same as if Elissa were HOH, as I am positive Aaryn will be the one nominated. Judd finally gave in and told Elissa that if they had the chance to backdoor a bigger target they could definitely do that, but I believe he was just telling her what she wanted to hear.

Shortly after this conversation, there was a booze delivery and it was time for the Have-nots to eat.  For a little while everyone happily stuffed their faces and drank their alcohol while Helen droned on and on about being a mom.  She told pregnancy stories that no one cared about, but that was okay since everyone was getting to eat and celebrate.

During the Have-not feast, Judd found a minute to pull Jessie aside and ask her what she was thinking.  Jessie has been growing on me more and more lately.  In a true statement of how much smarter she is than I originally thought, she told Judd he needs to do what HE wants to do and not let Amanda and McCrae try to force him to get blood on his hands for them.  She told him that if Amanda wanted someone out, let her win HOH and do it.  They both agreed that they do not want a guy going home this week as 3 guys have left already.  Judd told her that he thinks he is going to put up Kaitlin and GinaMarie hoping for Kaitlin to go.

After his talk with Jessie, Judd tried to pull Aaryn up to his HOH room to let her know that she may be put up by the MVP, but that he was not planning to put her up himself, However, like maggots on dead meat, the troops immediately swarmed the HOH room.  Helen, Andy, Elissa, and Amanda were quite determined to stay in the HOH and eat and talk all night, so Judd resorted to talking game in the have not room.  He told Aaryn he was pretty sure Elissa was going to put her up, but that if he won veto he would likely take her down depending on whether the house would work with him or not and whether Elissa as MVP would work with him or not.  He said that if Elissa was against him and not willing to work with him he might as well just backdoor her instead.  This could be interesting since Elissa won't be getting MVP, but I think the HGs will think she is just lying about not having it.

A little while later up in the HOH room, Helen decided to give Judd a speech and demonstration on how to be HOH.  She literally gave him a tour of the bathroom and taught him how to feed the fish. I'm not kidding you guys. I can't make this stuff up. She ACTUALLY lectured him on how to HOH.  She then firmly planted her butt on the couch where she fell asleep trying to wait out the others in the room.  Eventually she FINALLY went back downstairs.

Not to be outdone, once the others started filing out of the HOH room, Elissa started asking Judd if she could sleep on the couch in the HOH instead of the bed everyone had opened up for her downstairs.  She claimed all kinds of reasons such as being a germaphobe etc..  but none of them really made sense. He said she could sleep there if BB would allow her to, but the consensus of the others in the room was that it had been tried before by Aaryn and that BB would not allow it.  She tried it anyway, until BB called her out and made her go downstairs.

Judd eventually got the chance to talk to Howard and Spencer alone.  They both just told him that he should do what is best for his game and not listen to what other people are telling him to do.  Neither tried to make any deals. They just told him that they were willing to have his back if he would have theirs.

While Judd was talking to Howard and Spencer, in the cockpit, Amanda, Andy, and McCrae were talking about how they now see the "Rachel" coming out in Elissa and all agreed that she is freaking them out and needs to go soon.  Amanda still wants Howard out this week and is attempting to make that happen, but she wants Elissa to go soon now.

Elissa snuck into where Helen was sleeping and the two of them droned on and on and on and on and on about how they HAVE to make it so that Howard or Spencer goes home.  They think Judd is "SO DUMB" for putting up the people he wants to put up.  They want to protect GinaMarie and Kaitlin and make sure that Howard or Spencer goes.  Elissa then said if she couldn't get one of the boys out it HAS to be Aaryn. I wonder how she will react when she ISN'T MVP this week...

Currently everyone is still awake, but not really game talking.  Judd is a little drunkenly (6 Coronas in) talking to Aaryn about how the MVP twist has made people bigger floaters than ever instead of extinguishing them.  He says now they just float to the MVP power.  He is right of course.

Everyone is kind of winding down, and I don't expect much more to happen, so I'm going to wrap the blog up here.  Judd seems to be determined to do his own thing and not listen to other people. I am proud of him. I fully expect to see GinaMarie and Kaitlin nominated later today.  The Have-Not competition should come sometime early this morning.

I'm excited about this week.  I thought it would be another long boring "Aaryn is the target and she is going" kind of week, just like last week with Jeremy.  That doesn't seem to be the case though.  The HOH wants different people out than the rest of the house, and no one is getting MVP.  The MVP vote will be America's, but the house and HOH are not really on board to vote out their nomination.  This could get very interesting.

In recent minutes, Judd has really started heading towards GinaMarie possibly being his target because he just can't take anymore of the Nick talk and she doesn't want to be there.  I think this could just be drunk talk though.  I doubt GinaMarie will go over Kaitlin or Aaryn.

Anyway, this could be an exciting week *fingers crossed*.  As always you can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight updates.  Until tomorrow night...

The Night Owl

Tonight was a night of confessions, house meetings, love fests, and fights.  After the feeds came back from trivia earlier tonight, we learned pretty quickly that Kaitlin and Aaryn had been nominated.  Neither of them are the target (that's Jeremy), but Helen and her alliance (the rest of the house minus Spencer and  Howard) wanted to put them up just in case Jeremy wins veto so that they can send Aaryn home in a worst case scenario situation.

After nominations, the confessions began.  I don't remember who was first, but at some point each member of the alliance formerly known as The Moving Company spilled their guts to the various members of the house.  Most had already told Helen before nominations (Howard being the only exception) but Spencer and Howard felt the need to hold a meeting in HOH minus BlondeTourage and Amanda and McCrae.  They confessed their actions in the MC and also left a lot of things out.  They blamed asome things on members not present (Nick and Jeremy) and it ended in a  "Kumbaya let's all hold hands and be good people" love fest.  Am I watching Big Brother? Because I feel like this is turning into something completely different. Spencer claimed that the reason he voted out Nick was because his family would not like him being in an alliance with people "who make offensive comments and slurs against women".  I assume he was talking about Jeremy, but the irony in that of course is that Spencer himself is currently on unpaid leave from his job due to the offensive comments he himself has said about women in the house.

Helen cried at least 15 times during the course of the day and night, but when Spencer and Howard gave their speeches, she and Andy decided to turn it on extra thick.  She cried and she lectured about people lying.  She talked about how they had to make sure the "good people" win the game and that the "evil people" don't.  I seriously can't with Helen.  I wanted to like her, but I just can't.  She has a terrible case of HOH-itis and victim syndrome rolled into one making her a gigantic pain in the ass.   Andy decided it would be better for his game to pretend that he is still mad at Spencer and splash water on his face to pretend he was crying. What that actually has to do with game play I have NO idea.  I think he was just really hoping they would call him to the DR to talk about it.  I personally hope they DO start calling him in more so I can have a break from his constant feed bombing all over the place.

Amanda and McCrae decided that when Elissa got her MVP notification (since everyone knew it would be her) they wanted her to put up Howard so the he could either win veto and they could BD Jeremy, or they could send Howard home if Jeremy got to play in veto and won.  Amanda is all about getting Howard out because she knows that he does not trust her and would like to see her leave.

After Elissa got her MVP confirmation, she told McCrae.  McCrae told her he would take the heat and tell everyone that he got MVP (WHAT?!).   Why he would want to put an extra target on his back bigger than Amanda already is, I have no idea..but whatever..it's what he did.

Amanda still feeling confident that she could control everything including the MVP nomination decided to start a fight with Candice about Howard going up on the block because Candice had pleaded with Elissa and Helen and McCrae to please keep Howard off the block and put up Spencer instead.  She has grown close with Howard and told Amanda that she would feel the same way about someone wanting to put McCrae up.  Amanda refused to see the reason in this and she and Candice ended on bad terms with Candice going downstairs angry.

Amanda THEN decided it would be a good idea to fight with Howard when he was pulled upstairs to talk with McCrae to talk about being put up as the MVP nomination.  Howard was okay with going up and kept trying to apologize and squash things with Amanda, but as usual she kept beating a dead horse and wouldn't let it go. She kept telling him she wanted an apology from him for "bullying" her (since when is wanting someone out considered bullying?!) and Howard kept telling her that he WAS sorry for wanting her out etc..  Eventually they just stopped fighting about the same ridiculous things that happened last week and Howard went downstairs.

Then, Elissa was called to the DR to make her MVP nomination.  When she returned upstairs Amanda and Helen were in the room and Elissa told Amanda that she didn't get MVP.  Amanda called her a liar and they started arguing about it.  Finally it came out that Elissa did have MVP but that she did not feel right nominating Howard and had nominated Spencer instead with the target still being Jeremy.  Her nomination could very well be due to production interference because Helen mentioned at least 3 times tonight that the DR did not want Howard nominated and then the feeds immediately cut to fish each time.  Once Amanda learned that Elissa had nominated Spencer and not Howard, she went off and started her third fight of the night.  She said she didn't understand "how Elissa could fuck them that way" and that it wasn't fair that when they protect her she would go against them and make a different nomination.  Elissa said she didn't understand why it would matter if it was Howard or Spencer on the block if Jeremy was the intended Target.  Ellissa then went on to yell at everyone in the room about how they use her and get information from her and get her to nominate people for them, but they don't ever clue her in on what THEY are doing or what THEIR alliance is thinking or who THEY are going to nominate.  The fight really didn't come to a solid conclusion, it just ended with Amanda storming downstairs with McCrae in tow so they could talk about how stupid Elissa is for going against them.  While I'm not surprised and saw this coming from a mile away from the time Amanda started trying to save Elissa to control her, I will grant Amanda the fact that Elissa knows NOTHING about how the game or nominations work.  She makes very stupid decisions about it (like putting Jeremy straight on the block knowing he will likely win veto) unless Helen is in her ear telling her exactly what to do. So really, both sides of the argument were kind of ridiculous.

Meanwhile, Spencer had a really long chat with Judd explaining to him how much he liked him and still wanted to be in an alliance with him.  he told him that everything he had told him in the last week as far as liking him and game play had been true with the exception of not outing the MC to him until today.  Judd asked him a lot of questions about the various members and Spencer told him (and told the HOH crowd earlier) about Nick's real job and going to Yale etc.. Judd was happy that he was right the first week about Nick, Spencer, Howard, and Jeremy being in an alliance.  He had been paranoid about it when he caught some of them talking late at night and was excited that his suspicions turned out to be true.

When Spencer was done talking to Judd, McCrae did damage control about the MVP nomination.  Since he had already told Howard that HE was MVP and that Howard was going up, he pulled Howard into the cockpit and spoke to him about not putting him up.  He got him to swear on the Bible about not coming after them etc..  and then ended it.  He then pulled Spencer in to talk to him about going up (since Elissa had actually already nominated him).   Spencer told him he did not mind being nominated and would take his punishment, but that he would like to not be on the outside of the alliance.  They both talked about how the reason the MC did not work was because of Jeremy being such an asshole and being cocky and paranoid.  They said they both liked Nick, but that they had to stop the alliance because they could no longer be associated with Jeremy.  After their talk, Spencer went to bed.

Meanwhile, up in the HOH room, Elissa, Helen, and Judd were having a talk about what happened with Amanda.  Elissa started crying and saying she wanted to self evict again, but none of us are actually that lucky, and I'm pretty sure production would handcuff her to the have not room if she even TRIED to leave.  Judd and Helen both told Elissa not to let Amanda push her around because MVP is hers and it's her decision as to who goes up no matter who it is.  Later when Elissa and Helen went to bed in HOH, they both discussed having to turn on people who had protected her implying Amanda and McCrae.

At some point when all these other things were happening, GinaMarie still dressed in Nick's hat and carrying around his coffee mug and chapstick, was told the truth about the MC alliance and who he really was via Helen.  Helen was nice to her about it and they had a good laugh.  GinaMarie decided that she does not necessarily believe Nick skates because he did not comment on her "skate shoes". *Head Desk*.  After her chat with Helen, GM was called to DR (I'm assuming to talk about what she just learned).  When she got out, Amanda decided to tell her "no one wants to hurt your feelings by telling you the truth, but Nick was saying he needed to get rid of you right away because you are so annoying".  GinaMarie let that soak in for a minute and then laughed it off.  She asked around a bit if it was true and people confirmed it.  She responded by saying she still has feelings for him and will continue to wear his hat and see what happens at the finale.  Again, I can't make this stuff  up. She is REALLY like this.  According to Judd, she now sleeps with the coffee mug that Nick drank out of.  I'm thinking the only thing GM might win out of this season is a straight jacket and a ride to the asylum.

Amanda had a long chat with Aaryn telling her that she was in a good position because everyone wants Jeremy out.  Aaryn told Amanda that Kaitlin said that if Jeremy goes this week she is just going to self evict after him because she doesn't want to be there anymore. Aaryn asked why she is the bigger threat than Kaitlin and Amanda told her that it was because she is stronger and could win HOH.  Aaryn countered that by saying "yeah, but I don't have any votes on my side and even if I won HOH all I could do is nominate whoever the house wanted out. People should just be using me as a tool".

After that chat, pretty much everyone went to bed except for McCrae and Amanda who laid downstairs a while longer alternating kissing and talking about how "stupid" everyone is who isn't going along with their plan.  They then went to bed too.

The HGs have been on lockdown all night, so Veto should be played sometime this morning, and that will seal the fate of either Jeremy, Aaryn, or Spencer.  As always you can follow me on twitter @ashes2ashes13 for more overnight updates. Until tomorrow night...

Shocker (Not Really)

It took longer than expected, but the feeds are back and Elissa and Helen have been nominated.

What a strange day, though. We had an entire afternoon of ring kissing, as Jeremy and Aaryn have been holding court. One by one, they've come in for interrogation, with the main question being who should go up next to Elissa. Strangely, Helen basically offered herself up, which was an unnecessary move as she was going up all along.

Kaitlin, though, made it all about herself, with some strange pleas for Candice to go up instead of Helen. In some strange piece of brain farting, Kaitlin would end up going home if it was Helen as the pawn instead of Candice. Not really sure what that was all about.

Even weirder, though, was the sad case of Elissa. She was scheduled to be the last person to grovel, but was suffering from stomach issues. Oddly, this caused the Cat Lady contingent on twitter to start praying, becasue she may be close to death! She just needed a good poop, which means this was the first nomination ceremony in history to be delayed by an intestinal issue. if you think about it, it's fitting.

So we know that Elissa will get the (non-deserved) MVP again tomorrow. Who will go up? Will it be Jeremy, or Kaitlin? Tell us your prediction!
