Despite the pleas, Ronnie is indicating that he's still putting up two of his crew (probably Casey and Laura). Somehow, though, they're supposed to approve of this plan because the goal is to backdoor Russell.
That's beyond ridiculous. You just can't say with a straight face that two people are pawns. Even if you have 100% faith in the HOH, there's a pretty strong chance that one of your own will be going home. Either the wrong person will win HOH, or the person on your side who wins it goes against his alliance and doesn't use it, or the HOH will double cross his side. They all have to see through his plan.
Ronnie must believe that everybody in the house is an idiot...and maybe he's right.
Jordan, Laura, and Jeff are making their case to save their crew. I'm not sure it's working too well, especially because Jeff is pretty angry. Ronnie says that he hears how Casey says he's "too smart for the game", but they're all making pretty good points about how Russell is always making cracks about "Captain Lurks-a-Lot".
Edit: Jeff just won the award for the most ridiculous statement of the year. "I only have my balls left, and they completely back whatever you decide".
Further edit: This claim by Ronnie that he wants to backdoor Russell is unbelievable. He expects Jeff, Laura, Casey, and Jordan to believe that any combo of them are double pawns so that Russell can be backdoored?
One more edit: When the conversation concluded, Natalie and Lydia immediately pounced to find out about the meeting. Ronnie spilled all, including how they threw Russell under the bus. (Oh God, even I'm using BB cliches.)
It was a late night for the crew, and I have to hand it to Ronnie. After hours of claiming that he did not switch his vote, he's established a bit of doubt in the minds of Casey and others. Most of the evening was spent with his new jock friends, though, which should be a clue where he really stands. Hell, compare a note or two and everything should be clear.
His ego could really be his eventual undoing, as he spent most of the night slapping himself on the back. At one point he even claimed he's going to make people forget Dr. Will.
Unless he really is playing the jocks, look for Casey and Laura to be put up.
One more little tidbit - Jessie and Lydia are sharing a bed, with Natalie sleeping on the floor next to them.
Ronnie may be HOH, but it's not going to be a pleasant week for him. Or the following week, either. Half the house is kissing his ass to ensure their safety, while the other half is fuming over his vote. They're all comparing notes, and even Chima is seeing the light. Casey is worried that he'll be going up, as it's clear to everybody that he voted against Chima.
Edit: it's impossible to keep up with the action. Ronnie is promising both sides that he's playing with them, and denying that he changed his vote. Casey has them all going through who they voted, and when Ronnie storms off back into the house he concludes that they have their answer. He knows he's screwed. Lydia and Laura just went at it. I think we have our two nominees right there. The most humorous part is when Ronnie told the jocks about his Star Wars collection, and how he and his wife are psychics who are communicating while in the house. She's pleased with his actions!
Work has kept me away from the feeds all day, but it just seems to me from reading various other boards that Ronnie's setting himself up for a quick departure. He's playing a dozen different sides, throwing anybody and everybody under the bus depending on who he's talking with. He's claimed that he's only had eight or so words with Jessie, and that he wants Russell out next. He's giving Braden hope that he'll survive past tomorrow. How much would you bet that within the next hour he's doing the same with Russell and Jessie?
I also heard, but didn't see, an altercation between Michelle, Chima, and Natalie late last night over a brown stain on the toilet. Chima was bitching that she's ALWAYS the one who cleans, and Natalie helped escalate it (as usual). Not a real smart move when you're on the block.
For the most part, everything has finally quieted down. Lydia and Jordan screamed at each other for awhile, and Braden attempted to apologize to Kevin and Lydia (they walked out). Braden then explained to Jesse that he just wanted to hang out and have fun in the house.
This all went on for much longer than it needed to, and finally Jordan went outside to cry on the hammock. Ever the opportunist, Russell came out to console her.
Meanwhile, Ronnie played with his rubber ducky in the pool. Sad to say, he came off the best of anybody in the house.
Edit: Ronnie didn't stay in the background long, however, as he began a whispering campaign against Michelle (of all people) with Jordan, Laura, and Jessie.
