No Shocker Here

After an hour of trivia on the feeds, the human beings finally appeared back on the little screen after having had the Power of Veto ceremony. It's no surprise that Rachel used the POV on herself and Jordan so Shelly and Adam are now up on the block.

With that business out of the way, I have a question for you fine folks. Would it be better for Jordan and/or Rachel if Adam was evicted this week? Or what about Shelly? I know that emotionally they might want Shelly to go next but Adam is really almost as useless as Shelly is.

And then what about Kalia and/or Porsche? Would it be better for them if Adam went home first or if Shelly were the next to go?

Tell me all about what you think would be best for them in the comments! Can't wait to read what you have to say!

It's Alive!

A few minutes ago, Shelly noticed the "Do Not Disturb" sign was missing from the fortune teller. She began messing with the buttons, and the eyes lit up and it started moving around. Both her and Kalia are trying to figure out what this means, but I'm assuming it has to do with the upcoming veto competition.

Nominations and Have Nots

Hey there folks!

Just popping in real quick for those that don't follow all of us on Twitter and are in the dark as to today's goings ons!

Last night as you should know Jeff won the Head of Household competition handily.

Today he got to determine the have nots - from what we could tell he was just given a card that said he could pick three.  He chose Kalia, Daniele and Porsche.  I believe Porsche and Daniele haven't been Have Nots until now. America picked Hard Boiled Eggs and Jalalpenos as the have not foods.

Then later on in the day the nominations were held.  As most of us suspected he nominated Kalia and Porsche.  Some wonder why he didn't nominate Daniele since she will get to play in the Power of Veto anyways.  Jeff didn't want to make Daniele mad by nominating her in case she wins the POV.  If she doesn't win it it is possible he may put he up as a replacement if she wins.  He has asked her not to use it if she wins - but that won't be until Monday so we have pleanty of time to speculate.

Kalia has shed a few tears already.  I'm not sure if there is anyone left in the house that can rile her up enough for a meltdown - although Shelly and Rachel are ALL SMILES today.

Can Rachel Be Saved?

A quick little note here, as it has been a nothing day in the house. The feeds were off for a bit to celebrate Adam's birthday, but there's an interesting conversation going on right now. Shelly is attempting to convince Kalia to put up Porsche as the replacement nominee, and then have her ass evicted. She's telling her that there's no way she could win against Daniele in the finals, and that Porsche is nothing but trouble. Somehow she also believes that Adam has "proven" himself. Really?

Will it work? Not sure. The next conversation that Kalia has will be the key. Funny thing as Kalia was walking away Shelly said, "my work here is done".

Cassi vs. Shelly

Well boy howdy y'all! Little ol' Cassi has decided to play the game a little harder now that her Big Brother life is on the line. Unfortunately for her, I think it's a little too late.

Cassi's biggest problem in the game has never been herself, Rachel, or Porsche but instead it's been (and still is) her partner, Shelly. Her problem is also the correct assumption by the other hamsters of how close she has become to Dominic - who was the original target for eviction this week. Now I know all of you Rachel haters are gathering your pitchforks so hear me out on this.

I wouldn't consider Shelly/Shelton to be one of the best Big Brother players ever (at least not yet) but there is no denying the lady isn't playing this game to the best of her ability. Unlike the other newbies (and Lawon), she isn't viewed as a threat in any manner of the game. She is playing the ultimate 'Mom' role - even though she said in her pre-season interviews she wouldn't. She is playing enough of a social game with everybody that she isn't viewed as an ass-kisser (by them and not us mind you). Finally, she's an excellent liar.

Now Shelton did go a little overboard yesterday with all of her crying and carrying on after the POV meeting yesterday but I chalk it up to the reality of the game finally making itself present to her (I guess being on the block will do that to you). That and I'm sure she's missing her husband and daughter a lot. However, she's the only newbie at this point that I see having a real chance at winning the game.

Meanwhile, Cassi has only a tenth of Shelly's strengths. Now don't start chanting 'catty catty two-by-four' just yet. Or do, I don't care! First, Cassi made the mistake of joining a horrible alliance that was doomed from the start. Hello! Who in their right mind would agree to an alliance that involved Keef! Granted, that would have meant The Regulators teaming up with Porsche instead but knowing what we know now that might have been a really good move for her. Cassi would have had the chance to team up with Porsche who was teamed up with Rachel so by association Cassi might have been in good with Rachel and not been involved in all of the bitchy female drama.

I think Cassi's second biggest mistake was socializing too much with primarily one group of people - the late nighters. I understand she felt more comfortable with them but Big Brother isn't about feeling comfortable and enjoying late night walks on the beach with your buddies. You gotta talk to everybody and find a way to bond with everybody. Cassi's been doing better about this lately (and has even made up in a way with Rachel, Brendon, and Porsche) but as I said early in this post, it's too late for it to save her.

Unknown to her, Shelton has her tongue firmly situated in Jeff and Jordan's bowels and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. JeJo knows, or believes rather, that Shelly will fight for them longer than Cassi ever would. It's not that JeJo doesn't like Cassi because they do. Jordan especially likes Cassi. But they rightfully view Cassi's closeness to Dominic as a threat that needs to be broken up. And unless Shelly doesn't something horrifically wrong or voluntarily exits the game between now and Thursday evening, she will have the third golden key.

Do you think I'm totally off base in this? Is there any way that Cassi can save her ass and stick around this week? Are Jeff and Jordan making a mistake in wanting to keep Shelly over Cassi? Do you think the house would ever flip their votes and get rid of Shelly instead? Let me know in the comments!

POV Meeting Results - Week 2

Earlier this afternoon, the much anticipated Power of Veto meeting was held. What happened? I know you're just dying to know!

Dominic won the Power of Veto on Saturday ensuring that Adam and himself would be safe - if he decided to use it. There was a teensy tiny bit of talk about what if Dominic didn't use it and made a deal to be safe so that Adam could be voted out. Do you think that happened?

There was increased talk over the last day about putting Brendon and Rachel up on the block in Dominic and Adam's place if he used it on themselves. When that talk began, it created a little spark amongst all of us live feeders. Might Jordan (and Jeff) bust open their alliance this early in the game? Would that be a safe power play or the dumbest decision possible with such a shocking move? The debates on the internet went round and round. Do you think Jordan did this?

Well of course none of this happened ya big dummies! Hehe! The very predictable and out in the open plan that the entire house knew about even though Jordan wasn't supposed to have told anybody is exactly what happened.

Dominic used the POV to save Adam and himself. Jordan then put Cassi and Shelton - errr Shelly - on the block in their place. Dun dun dun!!! So shocking! Who could have seen this coming?

When the feeds returned, Cassi and Shelton were out back droning on to Adam and feeling sorry for themselves. Shelton was especially upset - crying and sniffling and wiping her snot on her t-shirt.

Cassi finally began crying real tears when she talked about missing her Daddy. After the thirty seconds it took for her to recover, she asked Lawon to do his best to keep her best friend Shelton safe in the house and he said he would.

Oh children, if only you knew of the sneaky snake crawling around in your midst. Watch out because I bet she bites!

So what do you think about this turn of events? Do you think the plan for Cassi to leave will hold strong until Thursday evening? Do you think Cassi can pull her head out of her ass long enough to use a little brain power and realize Shelton is not her bestie after all? How well do you think Shelton is playing so far? Did Jordan (and Jeff) make the right decision in not putting up Brendon and Rachel?

I can't wait to hear what you think!

Cassi Finally Gets It

During her ten-hour sleep, a little flash of sense must have entered Cassi's brain as she finally understands that her demise is eminent. She's currently talking to Adam (maybe not the smartest move) about how he can't trust any of the snakes in the house. Yet she still hasn't realized that her own partner, Shelly, has sold her out...and says she won't campaign against her!

The entire scenario is ridiculous. Jeff and Jordan like both Shelly and Cassi, have no opinons on Kalia and Lawon, and have grown to secretly detest Brendon and Rachel? Why are they catering to the jealousy-inspired wishes of a person they don't like?

Otherwise, this is a boring day. The POV meeting is being delayed until tomorrow, so it's nothing but small talk and sunbathing. Speaking of which, here's a couple of pics.

The Dynamic Duo that Could Have Been

Watching the feeds overnight I looked on as in the early hours of the morning Porsche, seeming to try to mend some fences, approached Cassi looking to air a couple things out.  There has been tension between these two for a while, Cassi would say there isn't tension as much as she doesn't care to associate with Porsche who she sees as very immature and in the house for the wrong reasons (Porsche has been heard to say she isn't in the house for the money as much as the potential exposure and what it might mean career wise after Big Brother).

But earlier in the evening last night Cassi has approached Porsche and given her some grief for telling Cassi's duo partner Shelly that Cassi was badmouthing Shelly.  Turns out that it seems this was a mis-understanding and it isn't what Porsche had said to Shelly and thats what led to the above meeting between Cassi and Porsche shortly after 5am this morning.  They talked for almost an hour and in the end it seems not a whole lot was accomplished.  I mean maybe now Cassi doesn't think Porsche was talking about her to Shelly but the overall feelings towards Porsche are the same and she is planning to vote for her eviction on Thursday.

The entire cast of 'newbies' seems to be flailing about - with the only strong alliance being between Lawon, Dominic and Cassi - and that one is totally clear to the Veterans so it will most likely be busted up in some way in the near future.

I really think Cassi and Porsche, the two cast 'babes' of this season could have been a good Duo had they been paired together.  Then again maybe I am just wishful - thinking that two attractive women could work together and trust each other in the Big Brother house.  I may also be completley out of my gord and giving Porsche way too much credit but I was sort of surprised that she extended the olive branch to Cassi and tried to talk to her and work things out.  Unfortunatly for her Cassi wants nothing to do with her as she told Lawon after the conversation.  The two of them will be quite surprised when Keith is voted out and Porsche is in the house for at least two more weeks.

By the way, Lawon can't stop going on and on to anyone that will listen (and knows the 'plan' to keep Keith) how he is going to set Keith straight and tell him he voted for him to stay ONLY because they shook hands and that even thought Keith screwed him over (by saying to Rachel and Brendon that he was playing both sides) he keeps his word.  Lawon - we get it!  Problem is chances are Keith won't be around to hear you.
