Big Brother Gossip Show #1105: Yo Yo Enzo

First off, this week marks the premiere of the 2020 Big Brother Gossip intro!!! Please let us know what you think of it (especially if you like it). I feel like I did capture the essence of the first few weeks of the show. And definitely let me know about a certain edit that goes from Dani to Keesha. Can you spot the differences in their voices? I can't.

As far as this week's show we begin by talking about the departure of the "legendary" Janelle. We have Dani's planned "hinky" vote, and Nicole's nightlong despair over her supposedly nasty goodbye message. Janelle may be long gone, but she's still there in Nicole's mind even days after the fact.

Then we have Enzo's HOH reign. We show how Enzo is just as much of a liar as Danielle, but he's much better at hiding it. Everybody just laughs at Enzo's complaints about Danielle, David, Da'Vonne, and most of the rest of the house, but they're starting to catch on to Danielle's nefarious ways. Is she in trouble in the near future? Maybe.

In what may be the most shocking revelation in the history of the Big Brother Gossip Show, we actually have some shocking comments to say about a member of this season's all star cast. Yes, we really do compliment one of our least-favorite cast members of all time. Guess what, though? She was the master of everything that happened last week, and her histrionics on Friday night may have set the stage for what we see in the week's ahead.

Big Brother Gossip #1012: The Big Reveal

It looked to be a laid back sort of weekend in the Big Brother house. After the double eviction, the remaining five knew their spots in the house, especially after Jackson won HOH. There was a lot of laying around reminiscing about the past two months.
Then out of the blue our little Broadway dancer revealed the biggest secret of the season. The Big Brother world went into a tizzy, especially when the feeds dropped for a few minutes. And this was followed by a statement from one of the five stating the possibility of a big shakeup if they won the POV. Which that person did then accomplish! Will Jackson's main squeeze end up on the block? If so, will she go home? Suddenly a boring week was full of intrigue!

Celebrity Big Brother Gossip #204: Off The Rails On a Crazy Train

As we stumble to the finale of this Celebrity Big Brother season it's become clear this is a house full of nutjobs. Lolo is psychotic. Tamar is crazy. Dina is nutty. And Tom is just goofy (or is he more than that?).

It's a dramatic week in this short season as we went from 8 houseguests at the beginning of the week to a final five that will make it to the finale. Who has a good shot at taking the big prize? We analyze the chances of each of those finalists, and everything else that happened in the house this week.

Celebrity Big Brother Gossip #102: Spoiled Shannon-igans

The big question before tonight's episode is how do we handle this season. We're used to telling the listeners what's going to happen in the next few days. We are the spoiler show. But this season has plenty of challenges, give the shorter schedule and multiple shows aired per week.

But we came up with what we believe is a successful formula. We do chat about what CBS showed in their broadcasts, and it brought up a few opinions we may not have thought about before. But we had a great opportunity to show everybody what CBS didn't show. Like some of the racially-tinged comments from Omarosa that didn't make the edit, or how Brandi and Ari were the surprising originators of the plan to target Shannon. We also talk about Metta's attempt to leave the house early, and Colette has a great commentary on just why he was so determined to quit the show.

Big Brother Gossip #811: Rebel Without a Clue

What do you do with a Big Brother contestant whose only game move this season, besides eating cereal and doing unmentionable things to Raven, is to not follow Have-Not rules? Yep, we're talking about Matt, one of the most useless castmembers in quite some time.

A game move was made against him so what did he do? This tough guy with Boyz II Men lyrics tattooed on his arm got his revenge by flaunting the rules of the game. Yes, Big Brother has rules. And yet the powers that be did absolutely nothing against him. In the long run, it really doesn't matter. He was evicted, as was his desire, and his ueseless girlfriend remains in the house.

We spend quite some time talking about this, along with the other weirdness that happened this year. Like, for example, how a woman with a broken foot was able to win a racing competition. Like how at the final 7 portion of the show people are still volunteering to be nominated. Or how the nominees were openly discussing throwing the POV competition to the game's "mastermind".

Big Brother Gossip #809: Rat Trap

Tonight should have been a 30 minute show. With the feeds down for the most important 30 hours of the week it becomes a struggle to put together a full-length show.

Yet enough interesting things happened that we were able to produce a lively look at this past week in the Big Brother house. We covered Alex turning into a complete lunatic and going after Cody for innocuous things such as cereal and Bible reading. We also looked at the continuing demonization of Kevin for having the audacity to talk to people on the "banned list". We also can't help but laugh at Christmas acting like she just walked off the set of "Empire".

Double eviction was also an important part of tonight's show, and we went over the highlights. Or should I say lowlights? It was an episode that went over like a lead balloon for all of us looking for any sort of change of power. We want a revolution, and we want it now!!!

Most importantly, there was a new house guest this week! He's not exactly a welcome guest, but he certainly created a disturbance in the house! (And no, I'm not talking about Derrick's visit.)

Big Brother Gossip #804: Your Own Personal Jesus

Hey, did you guys know that Jesus is in the Big Brother house? He is, at least according to Dominique. This week's show is dominated by the stories that God is slowly revealing to her. Weirdly, they're always incomplete, and often quite wrong. It certainly raises the question why Dominique is the only person He cares about in the Big Brother house.

But that's not all we talk about tonight. Oh no. There's so much to cover. There was an endurance competition on Thursday night, along with lots of drama after it ended at around the 90 minute mark. There was a lengthy, and I mean lengthy, chat about who should be nominated. 

There is also the triumphant return of Christmas, who reportedly broke ten bones in her foot. Yes, ten bones! She also apparently heard some info she wasn't supposed to hear when she called in to vote to evict Ramses on Thursday night's show. The real question is what was going through terminal victim Raven's mind as she heard that another person's physical issues may rival hers!

But none of this compared to the fire and brimstone act put on by Dominique. As the voices in her head slowly fed her information, she finally put together that somehow a snake had slithered into the Big Brother house. This news was so important that she demanded a house meeting at 5 am. Yes, 5 am! Only Colette is up at this hour.

And thank God Colette does get up so early in the morning! She tweeted and called the rest of the Big Brother Gossip Show crew so that we could have the highlights of this silly meeting for tonight's show!

Big Brother Gossip #802: Tough Titties

After all of the speculation and rumors, Big Brother finally commenced this past Wednesday night. Tonight's show covers the first two episodes, and the last 48 hours of live feeds. What a group of malcontents! This season has the potential to be quite fun, and the "highlight" so far has been Cody. Yes, he's said some idiotic things, which we cover on tonight's show, but it is fascinating to watch how he handles his HOH status.

Other things happened in the house, of course, including his main squeeze, Jessica, and her jealous ways. We talk quite extensively how Cody shrugs off her complaints, along with everybody else in his giant alliance. There's also conversations about his odd, respectful friendship with Alex, which Jessica doesn't quite enjoy. Hence, the show title, "Tough Titties".

Big News On The Upcoming Big Brother Gossip Show Season!

Since we're less than 24 hours from the big reveal of the Big Brother 19 cast, we felt that it was important that we touch base with all of you lovely supporters of the Big Brother Gossip Show. Yes, we will be back to our weekly schedule starting this Saturday (June 24). 

It's also a chance to inform you all that there have been some exciting changes to the various reward levels. Last summer, Scott and Colette put together a weekly bonus episode exclusive to Patreon. This ended up being so much fun that after the conclusion of Big Brother OTT they put together a spinoff show, Day  Drinking With Scott and Colette. 

Day Drinking has evolved into quite a marathon broadcast. Scott and Colette sip on their favorite cocktails as they discuss classic movies. Besides chatting about what they've watched over the past week, Colette chooses a handful of upcoming TCM classics that everybody should see at some point in their life. There's also a discussion of the various programming premieres on cable and streaming channels. 

Once Day Drinking is recorded, Scott and Colette carry on drinking as they recap a couple of Bravo shows from the past week for the Day Drinking bonus episode. Colette also creates a comprehensive weekly newsletter that is the perfect guide for all TV fanatics. 

These three elements are part of a separate patreon site and they have now been incorporated into the Big Brother Gossip Show patreon rewards. Big Brother Gossip #710: Season Finale

After six long months, the Big Brother Gossip Show finally comes to an end. Tonight's show covers the last couple of days of Big Brother Over the Top that culminated with Morgan's surprise win. We chat about how this happened, and even gasp a bit when we heard the Chenbot let lose with a profanity. There's also a segment where we talk about what we liked about this season, and what should be carried forward into the future.

There's also a major announcement that was made at the beginning of the show. Throughout these six months of shows, Scott and Colette have recorded a bonus show for Patreon contributors. Day Drinking With Scott & Colette will now be a weekly show that has its own Patreon page. There's also a Facebook page. If you like what we do, please give this brand new show a shot, as both Colette and I are extremely excited about it.

Big Brother Gossip #709: Waiting To Be Forgotten

We've now hit the last week of the special fall season of Big Brother, and the action has rapidly slowed down. Since Shelby's departure last Wednesday, little has happened besides the four of them just laying around. Their fifteen minutes is almost up, which is where I came up with the title "Waiting to be Forgotten".

Ok, I lied. That's a Replacements lyric, and it's also the title of a new book of crime stories inspired by my favorite band. Go listen to my most recent episode of The Ledge to hear three of the authors talk about their stories.

A few things did happen worth chatting about tonight, though. After Shelby's departure, Morgan revealed that Alex is her sister. There was also a breakdown between Justin and the rest of his reminaing alliance after the new HOH, Justin, announced that he was taking Kryssie to the finale.

This led to days and days of Kryssie and Jason complaining about Justin, and Justin doing nothing but moping around the house. Morgan, meanwhile, made the most of her days by herself. She studied the "days", worked out a bit, and did some sunbathing. While she doesn't deserve to win (IMHO), she is definitely the best behaved of the final four.

With the winner being crowned on Thursday, we have decided that our season (and 2016) finale will take place this Friday night at 7:30 PM ET. Join us as we not only chat about these last couple of days but take an overall look at this past season. It's been fun, and a breath of fresh air after the disastrous season 18.

Big Brother Gossip #704: Blood On Her Hands

It's been a long, long week, but Mike, Scott, and Colette once again take you through everything that happened from the moment Shane was evicted to when Morgan won POV.

Her victory literally came as we were starting tonight's podcast, but we still managed to keep an eye on everything as we were putting together the broadcast. It's a feisty little show tonight, with even an angry word or two expressed. But that's part of the fun of this passionate little show.

Once again, we also give a lesson about thinking of the bigger picture. We perfectly analyze why certain people need to stick around for a few more weeks even if they are indeed the worst people in the world. Hopefully, you have all learned that you shoudl take Colette's voting tips to heart. She is thinking of the overall good of the feeds - chaos, controversy, and clusterfucks!

Big Brother Gossip #609: F U Paulie

This is a seriously jam-packed episode tonight. There was just so much to talk about. Besides the usual post-eviction episode happenings, including HOH and POV results, we had to discuss some of the craziness CBS didn't show after the house changed from voting out Michelle to Zakiyah.

The fallout from that semi-blindside was simply amazing, and we now have new stars this season. Who would have ever guessed that Victor and Paul would be in the best position to make it to the end? Did anybody believe that Michelle would become funny and semi-likable? Or that Natalie would actually turn out to be a legitimate threat in the game?

At just under three hours, we talked about all of this and more. We also answered some listener questions, and relayed the latest info about the upcoming special fall season.
