Big Brother Gossip #804: Your Own Personal Jesus

Hey, did you guys know that Jesus is in the Big Brother house? He is, at least according to Dominique. This week's show is dominated by the stories that God is slowly revealing to her. Weirdly, they're always incomplete, and often quite wrong. It certainly raises the question why Dominique is the only person He cares about in the Big Brother house.

But that's not all we talk about tonight. Oh no. There's so much to cover. There was an endurance competition on Thursday night, along with lots of drama after it ended at around the 90 minute mark. There was a lengthy, and I mean lengthy, chat about who should be nominated.

There is also the triumphant return of Christmas, who reportedly broke ten bones in her foot. Yes, ten bones! She also apparently heard some info she wasn't supposed to hear when she called in to vote to evict Ramses on Thursday night's show. The real question is what was going through terminal victim Raven's mind as she heard that another person's physical issues may rival hers!

But none of this compared to the fire and brimstone act put on by Dominique. As the voices in her head slowly fed her information, she finally put together that somehow a snake had slithered into the Big Brother house. This news was so important that she demanded a house meeting at 5 am. Yes, 5 am! Only Colette is up at this hour.

And thank God Colette does get up so early in the morning! She tweeted and called the rest of the Big Brother Gossip Show crew so that we could have the highlights of this silly meeting for tonight's show!

Tonight's show was so much fun, even if we may be struck down for some of our commentary. We really appreciate all of the support you guys give us every year, and if you want to help out please check out our Patreon site. We are including the various elements of Scott and Colette's Day Drinking spinoff show as part of this year's rewards, so we really hope you think about checking it out. Otherwise, you can find this show on iTunes, Stitcher, and all of the usual podcast sites.

Oh yeah, and it also helps us out a lot if you do some simple little things like retweet this post, or any post about the Big Brother Gossip Show. Or if you're a member of our Facebook group, hit that little share button.

  1. Grodner consistently puts a miserable god botherer in the house. One year they had two and it was insufferable. A black girl who never quit thumping and a white girl....I think her name was Amber...who one night actually said...."God bless You God." I've laughed over that one for years.

  2. Wow, really got the Paul business wrong. Y'all should give him more credit. He's pulling a lot more strings in there than you realize.

First he set up the votes then instigates the discussion over the hinky ones to work suspicions into people other than himself. Very well played.

Then he's looking for a new target, and Dom has her show disaster. He sows the seeds against her. He gets Alex to nom her, then he suckers Dom into an argument she could have easily avoided by just admitting that she made a mistake with the show and apologized to Ramses in the first place. Paul used her own weaknesses against her, arrogance and pride. He made her look like a complete lunatic, not saying she isn't one. This is all well played in my book. And we got lots of drama out of it. So y'all should be happy. That is of course assuming your are not letting your "personal feelings" get in the way of it. y'all chastise the fans for that, so I can't imagine you would be so hypocritical.

Sure Paul is immature and prone to exaggeration and self-aggrandizement but he's actually very intelligent and is making big waves. That being said, I still think he's only building a house of cards, and that it will crash at some point this summer.

  3. I think its funny that Colette said this season was full of the worst idiots. Seriously, she has said in previous seasons that she ideally wanted all new players who have never even watched the game, yet she criticizes the HGs now for being those people she wanted? Is it possible to please Colette at all? In reality you have to have a wide range of personalities and character traits to make for an interesting mesh, for cream to rise to the top. They can't all play the same ideal game that you, Colette, cannot even coherently outline.

She was also wrong about the Julie votes as y'all attempted to explain, and then she acted like a total bitch about it. And again wrong about Dom being top in the polls, as once again Scott attempted to explain but literally could not get a word in as she talked over you, it's Kevin who's trading places with Alex, not Dom. Dom has never been popular with the voters. Wasted a good 20 minutes on those two completely wrong tangents...

I really can't listen to your show live anymore. I have to be able to skip ahead when Colette is rambling. She interrupts you two constantly, but cries when she is interrupted. She rehashes things she has already said earlier in the show over and over again, sometimes in the same rant! We get it, you hate X person. You do things X way and Y Way for Z reason. I don't give a fuck! Stop repeating yourself! Stop using the show to reinforce your own ego! No one cares about your fitness routines or the lies you tell yourself about why you don't have a family or friends. Please stick to the game. It's enough I have to hear your stupid takes on everything, I don't need life lessons from someone who clearly has no idea what she is talking about.

Please contribute more to the show than negativity. Thanks.
