To Sum Up...

Alrighty everyone! Two things: I'm going to semi-phone it in tonight as I missed a portion of the evening due to going to a Passion Party. Not to mention, nothing much of note occurred, ha! The second thing is, I've decided to name these semi-regular evening blogs a standing, ongoing title. For obvious reasons, I didn't want to use Ash's title of The Night Owl-she truly was a night owl and would stay up much later than me and give you all very detailed posts. My fingers are still crossed that she comes back next year! :) Since I've been giving more summary type updates, and I'm not very creative in coming up with nightly title posts, "To Sum Up" it is! ;) If you can think of anything else fitting and clever, let me know, I'm not married to the name and would happily change it. :)

Much of tonight's feed watching could be summed up as follows: #AudreyWatch

Audrey has spent the last day/night holed up in the Have Not room. She rarely emerges. These screen caps were taken when she had gotten up, grabbed a bag from the grey room, ate an apple, paced around, took some deep breaths, turtled on the floor, then returned to the dentist chair.

Early on this evening Shelli spent some time telling Clay how one of the times Audrey emerged Vanessa asked if Audrey was ok. Audrey apparently did not look at her, respond to her or even acknowledge either of them. Vanessa replied with "Ok, well you were more than willing to talk with me when i had the POV." Shelli is confused and doesn't understand why Audrey is being this way. Clay mentions that she had said she was going out with integrity, "so much for that." Their talk switches to ice cream and eggnog and I switch cams because I hate eggnog.

Meanwhile, in the backyard Austin, Liz, Jason, James and Meg along with Steve are just general chit chatting, going over comps. Jason says the pumpkin smashing in the BotB is his clown shoe competition.

They eventually move inside for dinner. Jackie and Becky join them. Jason gives a shout out to the Boys and Girls Clubs, and so now I have to do so as well! Side note: I work for my local Boys and Girls Club; they are indeed a non-profit organization that works within communities to provide support, care, activities and direction to the children, youth and families we work with. They're GREAT! :)

I had to leave for a couple hours at this point, but my alternate entertainment wasn't as entertaining so I was back soon enough! haha

When I returned, there was an outside discussion regarding décor and living and cleaning regimens. Apparently Becky, Jackie ad Shelli all demand their men have headboards and no posters in their living quarters. Clay hates the way his mom does laundry (GASP! She mixes the pet towels with people towels and it grosses him out. But, peeing on the shower floor is ok I guess.)

It was at this point that Audrey watch went on high alert as this was the point she got out of bed to grab her bag, change under covers, take a pillow, eat an apple and then pace, take deep breaths and crouch. I will say it reminded me very much of the time I spent with a friend who was in the throes of a legitimate anxiety attack, and I'll just leave it at that.

She eventually goes back under covers and James and Jackie go into the HN room to talk b/c Jackie wants to nap. They end up discussing the bad sleeping habits the chairs create, how the food/slop break them down and all the wondrous things that come with being a have not .

They do get a booze delivery, which excites most of them. Because Steve/James have been involved in prank wars the last couple of days though, when James initially tells them, they don't believe him. The delightful squealing when they found out he was telling the truth was mildly funny. There's a whole crew in the kitchen after that drinking.

John continues working out while Becky goes for a swim (they're both have nots) and Steve joins them. They have a brief discussion; there's some teasing of Becky by Steve.  They end up having a discussion about past seasons. Becky admits to being basic, she doesn't like when people have dramatic exits, she didn't like BB15 etc, etc. None of this surprises me.

Other random things to note:
  • Meg stated in a conversation with Vanessa that the DR indicated to her that what was going on with Audrey wasn't serious, so Meg is sure she's playing it up. Becky made Audrey pizza last night after I signed off; James made her an omelet and brought her orange juice this morning. People have been randomly checking in on her and are either ignored or brushed off with an "I'm ok."
  • Clelli are in a pretty good spot right now, love em or hate em. No one on the 'other side' (you know, the one Meg is on but doesn't even know exists?) is thinking of targeting them. Jason's all about taking out the twins and has even been talking about it in front of Clelli. Clelli have a sort of sense of entitlement to safety for next week since "We did what the house wanted and got Audrey out." like it wasn't something they wanted to do in the first place.
  • Vanessa, Austin/Liz/Julia will be the likely targets next week if James, Jackie, Jason or Meg win HOH. JohnnyMac is still floating along.
  • Austin still can't tell that Liz really just is not that into him. Reading body language apparently is not his forte, despite being a wrestler. I've tentatively decided I like Julia better than Liz.
And with that, I'm signing off for the night. I have a legitimate dental appointment in the morning with a dentist who once told me I have sexy molars. It wasn't JohnnyMac though, so alas, it had no meaning. ;) Wish me luck!

Monday Night Sleeping Little Bunny...

Well, after a pretty exciting feeds day/night yesterday, it figures that tonight would mellow out a bit. I confess I was hoping for a bit more drama but alas, the lone figure who creates the chaos chose to sleep away her pride, paranoia and nomination. Literally!

To recap just a bit, the entire house consulted and conspired with each other and came to the consensus that Audrey was too much of a troublemaker and liar to continue to keep in the game. After a house meeting that included everyone but her, it was agreed that Vanessa would use the veto on Jason and Shelli would nominate Audrey in her place. When I left you last night, Audrey had disappeared in the diary room and had been there for a long time.  She ended up doing much the same thing for most of today. If you read Mike's update from today you'll know that Audrey disappeared into the DR shortly before lunch and was in there for HOURS. House guests were all atwitter with the idea that maybe she had self-evicted and twitter was appropriately atwitter with all kinds of speculation. If you have some time to kill, check out the hashtag #WhenAudreyWentIntoTheDR There's some pretty funny stuff in there. I think twitter ended up being more entertaining than the feeds.

Audrey eventually emerged from the DR, with sunglasses on, hoodie up and a brown paper bag. She immediately went into the Have Not room, turned out the lights and went to sleep. She has remained in there this entire time as far as I can tell. Cameras have been on in and around the house, but I haven't even seen her go to the washroom. Some are suspicious that she's been medicated.

A few interesting tidbits that emerged:
  • The turning off of the lights in the Have Not room so she can sleep. This is actually a big no-no and Big Brother has been pretty diligent on not letting any of the other house guests do this. Becky actually put laundry away in the dark so as not to disturb Audrey.
  • Audrey did NOT attend the POV ceremony today. The feeds went to fish shortly after Audrey emerged. POV ceremony was held, Shelli did as expected but Audrey was nominated in absentia. I'm not sure if they tried to get her to come and she flat out refused, or if she was given permission to sit it out. Either way, I wasn't impressed and neither was most of twitterland. Jocasta missed the picking of the POV players once last year due to extreme illness, but she attended the actual POV ceremony. (It was the one Donny was picked to play for her, won and removed her from the block.) Meg even commented "What, is she going to miss eviction too?" Some feel that she's been heavily medicated to keep her calm and that's why she didn't go, but most feel that she's behaving more like a sore loser.
  • We got a bit of confirmation that the twins are kept off site when not in the house which most of us already suspected. Liz and Julia switched places again today; Liz confided she had been ready and waiting to switch since 1pm, but due to Audrey being in the diary room, they had her watch a movie and her driver/handler waited in the car.
In other house happenings, Julie only had a few minutes to teach Liz the WhackStreet Boys dance, but Liz managed to grasp it fairly well. Jason noticed right away that they had switched and suggested to JohnnyMac they alter the ending of their dance to mess with her. They then also spent a portion of the night teaching the dance to the others in the house. Clay and Meg managed fairly well but watching Becky attempt the body roll was painful.

Jackie had a long conversation with Meg that got my hopes up a teeny tiny bit that perhaps she might grow into a player to be reckoned with, but my bubble was burst by the fact she still doubts the twin twist, and that she wouldn't put Clay or Shelli up if she won HOH. Meg still has no idea there are even 'sides' in the house, despite noting with Jackie that they're the only ones that have been nominated since the game started. Becky brought Audrey some food since she's not leaving that cave at all.

Clay and Shelli spent some time in the hammock nervousing about next week; Shelli NEEDS Clay to win HOH because she doesn't want people to target them. She's become suspicious of Vanessa. Jason is aware that Austin fills the 'new' twin in on house happenings when the switches happen.

Prank wars are a thing right now; Steve played some kind of prank on James and James returned the favour by squeezing honey into a sleeping Steve's mouth. James then, with some assistance from Austin and Clay, built two sleeping people out of pillows and hats in the comic room. I think the intended target was Meg, but they were discovered  before the prank could really come to fruition.

As I cap this off, Clay and Steve are working out in the backyard. Steve is asking Clay if he would tell him if he were in terrible shape. There is a crew inside talking about physical therapy, chiropractic therapy and general chit chat, but the feeds cut to all cams on Clay and Steve, so I'm throwing in the towel for tonight folks. I hope you all enjoyed yesterday's shenanigans since I think we're in for some very mundane feeds for the rest of the week, unless Audrey decides to emerge from the Have Not hole for one last fight.

Tell me your thoughts on the marathon diary room session! Do you think it's ok that Audrey was able to turn off the have not room lights? What about missing the POV ceremony? Thanks for all the new follows on twitter today, feel free to check me out at @Shienara33 Sweet dreams! :)

Monday - Feed Glitch - Audrey MIA - POV meeting delay

Things have been crazy since last night.  I wanted to throw up a quick post because we are seeing the same questions over and over on twitter.  First if you missed what lead up to today you should read Tara's post from Sunday evening here: Sunday Night House Meeting

Here is a timeline (rough!)..... Note - New update at end of this post - 4:50pm  and 6:30pm BB time.

Audrey came out of the Diary Room shortly after Midnight.  Then there was a weird feed glitch and a brief message that there were technical issues, eventually the feeds righted themselves. If you were watching live it wasn't THAT much time but now on the replay there seems to be about the 1st 25 minutes of the day is missing.  That means that when you start the feeds at 12am you are actually seeing about 12:25am.  This has carried on throughout the day.  Everything on the BB clock on the feeds is off - the live time showing is 25 minutes earlier - but the feeds are indeed live.

So for this post I am going to list the time as BB time (the time to use for flashback) and Pacific time (the actual time it happened).

Around 1:38am BBT (2:03am Pacific) Audrey climbed in bed to talk to Vanessa - she was very upset and crying.  She said she was - or was worried she was going to have a panic attack.  She knows the entire house plans to vote her out I believe.  This lasted for at least an hour I think. James was involved too.

Fast forward to much later on. Audrey eventually ended up in her 'bed' in the Have Not room and was sleeping.

Around 11:02am BBT (11:27am Pacific) Vanessa was called into the DR and we thought the POV ceremony was about to start. She came out a few moments later and said they just needed some voice over stuff.  I think about then is when Audrey entered the DR (the feeds cut in and out of Fish Cam several times and we didn't see her go in).

Its now 3:15 pm Pacific (2:47pm BBT) and we have yet to see Audrey come out of the DR.

We think she is talking to a doctor or a counselor or production. The HGs think she may be walking out.

I'll continue to monitor the feeds to see when/if Audrey returns.  I think she will.

Only two HGs have ever walked out of BBUSA on their own in the past.  That was Neil in Big Brother 9 (Evicted HG Sharon re-entered) and Dick in Big Brother 13 (not replaced).

Follow me on twitter for more updated or sign up for the live feeds to see them HGs for your self. A free one week trial can be had by following this link.

4:50pm Pacific UPDATE: At 3:51pm BBT On camera 3 you can see Audrey go back to the Have Not room.  Shortly after the feeds cut and we assume that the Power of Veto meeting is finally starting.

6:30pm Pacific Update: at 5:19pm BBT on the feeds came back from fish and we found the POV meeting had been held.  Audrey didn't attend and was nominated by Shelli after Vanessa saved Jason.  Audrey appears to be sleeping in the Have Not room where she has been since she came out of the Diary Room.  Yes this is against the rules, no Big Brother likely isn't going to punish Audrey, they just want here there to walk out of the house on Thursday.

Sunday Night House Meeting

Well, I'm back! :) My apologies for being MIA the last several nights, it's just how things worked out this week. But, I picked a great night to be able to focus on the feeds since it ended up being a pretty great night for them.

First a quick recap: Liz and Shelli won the HOH competition. Liz nominated James and Jackie, Shelli nominated Jason and JohnnyMac. Liz was dethroned as HOH since James and Jackie won Battle of the Block, and Jason and JohnnyMac remain nominated with Shelli as the sole HOH. POV competition was held on Saturday and Vanessa won the veto.

I missed a lot during the day as I was luxuriating in a delicious hangover from the music festival I attended. Copious amounts of beer was consumed and it was very late by the time I got to bed. I did manage to catch up on some stuff via those awesome feedsters who live tweet and transcribe everything. (Thanks you guys!) There had been some discussion up to this point about back dooring Audrey, but nothing set in stone.

One of the things I missed was long backyard discussion between Clay, Austin and Audrey. From what I read, it was pretty good so if you have the feeds you might want to flashback and watch it. There were some tears on Audrey's part and basic calling out on Clay's end. Clay then went to HOH room and reported everything to Shelli. Shelli and Vanessa had been contemplating a plan to back door Audrey, but just as with Jeff last week, they wanted to establish a 'reason' and Clay pretty much handed it to them. Audrey ended up in HOH as well and had a long discussion with Shelli. Again, I did not personally watch these conversations, I am just mentioning them because they set the tone and play a part in later happenings.

Audrey, because of these events, started feeling the heat and she approached James and attempted to share information with him. To her credit, a lot of what she shared was the truth: She told him about the 6 person alliance, she told him about Vanessa setting Jeff up last week, she informed him that he was the initial target. James took this information straight to Meg, who continues to boggle my mind with her brilliance and insight. [sarcasm] She kind of talks James down and reminds him to be suspicious of the information considering that it's coming from Audrey. Clay ends up walking in on the conversation and you can almost see his wheels turning. He works hard in the convo to continue to throw suspicion on Audrey.

This information eventually spreads amongst all the house guests and the rest of the evening is spent with Shelli, Clay and Vanessa doing damage control (since a lot of the information Audrey shared was the actual truth) along with turning everything into a #BlameAudrey sort of event. No one really believes anything Audrey says and is chalking it up to her attempts at manipulation. Meg even stated "I don't care if there's a 6 person alliance, I still want her gone!" Which basically sums up Meg's game play.

There's a small group conversation at the hot tub between Steve, Becky, James and Clay about everything. Becky adopted a 'Told ya so" attitude since she hasn't trusted Audrey since Audrey spread rumours about her pre-feeds.

After this conversation, Clay went to go wake up Shelli, who had been napping. He let her in on everything of course and there was a funny moment where Shelli says "How long have I been sleeping?"

There is a short Jackie/Audrey convo in the have not room. Audrey comments she thinks Vanessa will save Jason with the veto since JohnnyMac is like Jesus. (Jason has commented a couple times now that no one will vote against Johnnymac because it would be like campaigning against Jesus). Jackie kind of blows off the conversation stating that everything changes in an hour in the house.

I took a break from the feeds at this point for dinner, CSI and the west coast broadcast of the episode. When I returned to the feeds there was an almost full blown house meeting going on! Not my favourite kind of house meeting were alliances get outed, people argue and lies get exposed, but the kind where all the house guests commiserate against a single house guest and blame all problems on that person. They're all talking about Audrey, comparing notes and matching things up. Clay, Shelli and Vanessa are clearly working it so that their alliance is down played. (How the J-Crew+Meg don't realize this yet is beyond me).
Shelli reigning over the HOH house meeting.

The result of this house meeting is a HOUSE UNITED!! It has been decided that Vanessa will definitely use the veto and Audrey will go up as the replacement nominee and the entire house will vote her out. It was tossed out there by Vanessa to not be cruel and shun Audrey, but to be civil and friendly. Becky points out that while they shouldn't ostracize Audrey she doesn't think they should go out of their way to be too friendly either "That's how she gets to you. She plays with your heart strings." Becky is very strongly anti-Audrey. I get the feeling that no matter what sort of shenanigans production might get up to, Becky would never vote to keep her.

The house meeting eventually breaks up when they all decide they're just not going to let Audrey talk game to anyone at all and people scatter. Clay and Shelli remain in the HOH where they congratulate themselves on a well played house meeting. Vanessa and Becky go to the downstairs bathroom where Becky does Vanessa's hair, and Jason, JohnnyMac and Liz go to the backyard. The pager goes off and the three do their little WhackStreet Boys routine, of which this is the first I'm seeing of it. I'm not really sure how this constitutes a 'punishment' but then I've never understood how BotB is a 'fan favourite' either! haha All the house guests except for Clay/Shelli and Audrey come out to watch.

WhackStreet Boys is whack!

Vanessa, Austin and Clay have a short check in the comic bedroom, followed by a Vanessa, Austin, Steve check in. Steve asks Vanessa if he can wake her up later for a more in depth discussion and she gives him the ok.

At this point, the house guests decide to plan and play a game of charades. Audrey hasn't been seen or heard from in a while-since towards the beginning of the house meeting. The others believe she's been in the diary room. Charades is still going on as I type, so I'm out for the night. I'll leave you with this screen cap of the house guests playing charades. They look as thrilled to be playing as I am to be watching. ;) Feel free to follow me on twitter @Shienara33 as I may be a sporadic blogger but I'm a totally dedicated tweeter! Thanks all, have a great night. :)

Saturday Morning - Would all the J's step forward please?

Last we left you on Thursday night, after what myself and others think may have been the worst HoH competition ever, except maybe Part 1 of the HoH competition in Season 7 where Mike Boogie jumped off and Janelle was eliminated moments later on a technicality created by Julie Chen with an answer she gave to Erika...  (watch it here).  But as usual, I digress.........

As we saw Shelli and Liz, yes it was Liz not Julia, won the first part of this weeks HoH competition and so had to make nominations on Friday.

I'll save you the back and forth and discussions went on in the spirit of brevity and cut to the chase - the group that is sort of (or thinks they are) in power this week would be Shelli, Clay, Liz (Julia), Austin and Vanessa.  The nominations ended up being Liz: Jackie & James --- Shelli: Jason & John. I am sure it is a complete coincidence that they nominated the J's - in alphabetical order even....  Becky, Steve and Meg could have all been listed and I would not have been surprised.

The target is actually not very firm yet, Vanessa (not a HoH as we know but seems to think she still is in some ways) is concerned about the two unknown votes for Jeff. To review, Jackie and John voted as they had said they would for Jeff to stay.  Steve and Liz surprised everyone (including all viewers and likely even Julia) by also voting to save Jeff.  Most of the house has concluded that someone is America's Player and was forced to vote for Jeff, thus accounting for one vote (which is wrong of course), the second vote is what is really bugging them. Vanessa thinks it was either Becky or Steve and eventually, wrongly, settled on Becky.

The 'plan' as I understood things was to have Jason and John win the BoB competition.  Shelli specifically told them both she wanted them to win it so she would be able to compete for HoH next week feeling she was safe with Liz/Julia as HoH this week. But that's not how it worked out and somehow Jackie and James pulled off the win so they are safe this week and Liz is back among the common people sleeping downstairs.

We now await the POV competition today/tonight.  It often takes place during our weekly Big Brother Gossip Show so be sure to tune into it at 10pm Eastern tonight!

We'll be discussing all of the above in much more details with charts, audio clips and snark galore!

As of the early morning (I'm still catching up), I see that Audrey is FAR from safe as a 'backdoor' target and Shelli has even suggested the possibility of going after Austin this week.

If you don't have the live feeds - please consider signing up through this site. You get one week free access to the live feeds as well as tons and tons of CBS programming and even live CBS programing in certain markets (more added all the time).  Click Here for your 1 week trial and thanks!

Saturday Morning - Day 24 - Nominations & BoB

Happy Saturday morning everyone.  I wanted to jump in with a brief "just the facts ma'am" sort of update as Tara is justifiably otherwise occupied and Colette, Scott and I are busy preparing for tonight's Big Brother Gossip Show.

When we last left you, Liz was back in the house and we had newly crowned Vanessa and Austin were starting to talk nominations.

The fast facts are as follows: Vanessa nominated James and John - Austin nominated Jason and Meg.  There was then a BoB (Battle of the Block) competition that involved drinking (perhaps not in the actual competition but many of the HGs were drinking) thanks to the guest 'takeover' by Ron G (not spelling it) this week.  James claims he threw the competition and we know John was told to as a part of yet another 'backdoor' plan.  Thus Austin is out as HoH and Meg and Jason live to float another week.

After the BoB competition there was much scrambling and I THINK Vanessa wants to get out Jeff (Douche Canoe as called by fellow BBG writer Tara) - however some feel she will be happy getting rid of James, who seems to think he is very safe and that the ultimate target is Audrey. Audrey is 3rd choice as I see it - after Jeff and James, and I'm not even positive about that.

Alliance wise, things are starting to jell, Austin, Vanessa, Liz/Julia are working together - Shelli and Clay are also working with Austin, Vanessa and Liz/Julia (all mentioned now know both Liz & Julia as two people).  They are the 'core' of a couple alliances (Steve might be considered a bit on the edge of it) and then the 'other' side could be looked at as James, Meg, Jeff, Jackie and maybe Jason who lost his biggest ally on Thursday. Now its still a rough draft of groups because people are still crossing back and forth.  Becky and John, for example, are talking with people on both 'sides' and Jeff is convinced he's in tighter with some people than he is.  I think Audry. the only person in the house that doesn't even KNOW people suspect a Twin Twist with Liz, thinks she is closer to Clay and Shelli than she is.

I am sure today things will firm up some more alliance-wise, as an example Clay was working to pull Becky closer to him and Shelli early this morning,  but with 14 (15 with Julia) still in the house there are a lot of bodies to keep tabs on.

We now await the POV competition which will take place sometime today.  It usually seems to happen during out weekly podcast - so tune in here at 10pm EST.

And there you have it!  I have said it several times, I think this is the best start to Big Brother in many seasons. The lack of a former house guest, a celebrity (sorry Jeff & Jackie) or a sibling of an America hating, cupcake licking pop start, has been great! Especially since almost all of these house guests are trying to play the game.

Sign up for the FREE live feeds via any links on this page and catch up on everything you have missed so far.  Have a great weekend and talk to you tonight on the Big Brother Gossip Show!

Catching you up..... cause we've been busy!

Hey guys,

Without Ash about this season to keep you all up to date this sites been a bit slow I know and my apologies. We are working to remedy that I promise.  Hopefully you have been following myself, Scott and John on twitter as well of course as Colette from www.colettelala.com as she posts almost daily 'updates' with a her snarky, literal license enhanced twists. Our twitters are respectively @bbgossip @bigbrothrgossip, @uselesstraffic and @colettelala

We can fly by the past week because as you shoud know, Jace is now the next Surfer Dude (BB15 David and BB11 Braden in previous seasons) that was first out the door.

Audrey is in really hot water but I think she will be safe this coming week. I have thought that going into Thursday night's show but I am even more confident as I sit here writing this Friday morning and here is why......

As you should have seen, Becky and Shelli, two HGs that readily admitted to each other they barely knew what was going on last week were crowned HoH's at the end of Thursday's show.  They both quickly came up with their nominees:

  • Becky wanting to target Audrey with a backdoor plan by nominating Steve and Jason and then hoping they would then throw the Battle of the Block (BoB) competition thus staying nominated and she then could in theory put up Audrey with a POV re-nom, assuming both Audrey didn't win it and someone that wanted her out did win it and used it.
  • Shelli meanwhile took the straight forward approach and nominated Davonne and John - her target being Davonne (even though Becky and some others think/thought Shelli was also in on the backdoor Audrey plan).  Davonne is seen as a weak competitor so Shelli and her co-hoh/showmance Clay decided it was best just to get her nominated.
Once nominations were over very early on Friday morning the BoB competition was held and Davonne was so bad at it that John apparently didn't have to work too hard to throw it (Shelli asked him to, having filled him in on the plan to go after Davonne).  With Steve and Jason winning the BoB, Becky is no longer HoH and both Jason and Steve are safe for the rest of the week.

The HGs then went to bed and currently are mostly up or napping and waiting to draw names for the POV competition.  If Davonne or Jason don't win it then she will be in trouble come Thursday.

The "Last Laugh" twist has not been introduced yet - so we aren't not sure how that will play out - but if the entire house gets on the 'vote out Davonne' train, 3 nullified votes won't be much help.

And there you go - all caught up on the nitty gritty details.

Until I know more - catch you on Twitter!!

-Mike aka @bbgossip

UPDATE 4:45pm Friday.  Johnny won the POV competition. He plans to use it on himself, the POV ceremony won't likely be until Sunday since tomorrow is the 4th so there is lots and lots of time for a replacement nominee to be decided. I also forgot to mention that on Thursday after the show the Have Nots were picked - only they weren't picked - Steve, James, Meg and Jason all volunteered.
