Monday note - POV Ceremony results and Feed downtime.

Hey there,  Another quickie to keep you guys in the loop.

The POV ceremony was on Saturday and Cody didn't use it as we expected.  Frankie is the guys target and even though they haven't told him yet I think he suspects it and as of this writing they plan to tell him shortly before the actual eviction show that he is going.

However, as of now they do not know the show will happen today (Monday), and if Big Brother doesn't warn them he may be caught off guard - of course Derricks style all season has been to let the evictees know they were going, Christine being the one 'blindside' I can think of.

Folks on Twitter still seem very confused with the term "live" as Julie uses it.  This week there will be two evictions, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Both will be called 'live' evictions but Tuesdays will take place today and be taped and shown on Tuesday.  Wednesdays will actually be live as it happens.  This particular format / setup has taken place once a season since Big Brother six (they may have skipped a season in there - I just remember the furor when the feeds were down for an extended period that first time in BB6). Note: This has NOTHING to do with the fact Frankie is the one likely to leave - this episode would have been taped no matter who was leaving.

The HGs have been told then need to get up early today to provide footage for Big Brother After Dark.  That should have been a tip off that something was up but so far they seem to not realize that means the feeds will be off for an extended period or they think the footage will be used later in the week.

At some point today the feeds will cut away and if they follow last years schedule they will not return until Tuesday evening after the taped "live" show airs.  The audience for the show taping tody will most likely be friends and family of CBS staff (but we still got word last year that Andy had won HoH).  When the feeds do return we should then see a house that had been "Frankieless" for about 24 hours and get an idea of who may be going next.

There are only four episodes left.  Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (highlights show) and then the finale next Wednesday after the Survivor premiere.

  2. As long as nothing crazy happened that made them decide to keep Frankie, I'll be happy. Didn't Amber get blindsided when she was back doored? She had no sea she was going up at the veto ceremony & also thought she was safe eviction night.

  3. Amber wasn't part of the Jury though - it could be said Hayden was blindsided as well but that was double eviction night. Derrick has worked very hard to keep the jury members from being shocked - in part to keep the drama down - and in part so he seems like the one person nice enough to let them know they are getting voted out ahead of time.

  5. A friend of mine is saying that maybe they are doing this because the Grande Family is afraid of Frankie getting booed ..... and since the audience is not a real audience.... (cbs Staff) he wont get booed

  6. I think all the posts about how this season isn't good are being done by a minority of people. I find this season as good as any other.

  7. Nyla, this is a gimmick they do every year. It's mainly due to the fact that it's impossible to set up that first part of the finale comps in less than 24 hours. Recording this eviction a day early gives them another full day to build that comp. That schedule was set up long before it looked like Frankie was going home.

  8. Okay IndyMike, Ash, etc... where are your spies? Do we really have to wait until tonight to find out if our egocentric glitter spangled little pink brat has been evicted?

  9. From another site (Jokers), there was a 5 minute feed leak today between 11:54 am and 11:59 am. It appears that Derrick is HOH. Frankie could not be seen. Derrick was seen talking with Victoria in the HOH and there was a license plate saying "#1 Dad" on it. Don't know if that it true but that site is usually accurate. But I trust IndyMike, Ash, Target John, and Scott more than I trust that site. Can you guys verify this info?

  11. As long as Frankie is gone I don't care who is HOH. I imagine him leaving the house and talking to Julie will be over the top and he will act like they are old friends. I hate him. He was a favorite when this first started because he seemed to be playing the game well.

  12. AM I ONLY ONE WHO WILL NEVER WATCH SHOW AGAIN. BB PLAYING TRAINED PROFESSIONAL DECEIVER AGAINST AMATEURS. HE HAS PLAYED THIS GAME WHEN HIS LIFE WAS ON THE LINE, NOT JUST MONEY. HAVE WATCHED SHOW FROM FIRST SEASON, DAN AND WILL, GREAT PLAYERS SHOULD NOT BE COMPARED TO DERRICK .DERICK SEEMS LIKE NICE GUY, BUT THIS HAS BEEN UNFAIR FROM START, HE SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN THERE. IF HE MAKES IT TO END, JURY SHOULD KNOW, IF THEY STILL GIVE HIM MONEY, AND DON"T FEEL BETRAYED BY BB, THEN I GUESS IF THEY CAN LIVE IN IT ,I CAN LIVE AROUND IT .ONLY FAIR TO LET THEM KNOW, THIS REMINDS ME OF THE WHOLE YEAR I WATCHED DALLAS ONLY TO HAVE BOBBY WALK OUT OF SHOWER, NEVER WATCHED IT AGAIN EITHER. BB HAS DESTROYED SPIRIT OF THE SHOW FOR ME.I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO SHARE THIS ON ALL BB SITES IT NEVER SHOWS UP THIS MAY NOT EITHER.WE"LL SEE.
